Assam University Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this course because I was interested in ECE for a very long time and this was my aim. According to the research I did, Assam University was a great University for my dreams as I did not want to go outside Assam for my studies. The faculty members of my department are very friendly. They are very supportive. They provide special attention to each and every student. The most important is their teaching. I love the way they teach. The term exams are as per the notice that is provided by the University. The question paper is set as per the teaching. If we pay attention in class and make notes properly, it will be easy.

Having developed an interest in chemistry in 12th i decided to take the course.Further the faculty was by far the best in town and there were around 7-8 teachers each for one branch and there were also some faculty teachers for helping in projects and assignments.Batches were also not very big and there were smart classes.Some teachers were phd holders and some very qualified and the teaching learning process was fun. Well the college is affiliated under Assam University so the exams were mostly on time but yeah passing was a hard nut to crack.

It is one of the best college of silchar and the teaching and non teaching staffs are very helping . Moreover it is my home town and it is under central university and 75% attendence is must . Economics ,english ,zoology department of our college is very good and every year it gives an excellent result . Biotechnology dept is semi private

Choose this syllabus because in this three-year degree proper education was given to us as the curriculum was very well structured. And about the faculty members, the faculty members have expertise in their respective fields. They are well trained and experienced in their fields. The faculty members always tried their best to enable quality education and also provide their constant support and guidance throughout. And about the passing of examination because a little bit hard the college has almost 15-20 employees. There are extremely useful and for the Mod very experienced in their areas full stop this pic with each other and provide us the valuable points and satisfied we were forced to understudies proportion which helps a lot in our education.

I choose the Bcom course because its easy for me to understand and i love studying about the bussiness and accounting . Teachers are very friendly and their lectures are very easy to understand also i've seen their are some students who joined the bcom course from science background , and the teachers are so friendly to them too and help every students to make their lectures simple and easy to understand , Exams are conducted time to time and its not so difficult to pass if we are prepared .

There are lots of course available in cachar college like B.sc, B.com, BBA , BA etc ,more than 1000+ students apply in cachar college every year, the teaching method is some how good as compared to other college,all the exams held in time and happens very strictly and it is some how difficult to pass

I chose Computer Science and Engineering because it is highly demanding course, get job in the related field with high package and there are more number of girls in it as compared to other courses in engineering . Faculty : Students = 1:30 Almost all professors are PhD holders and very expert in their respective fields except few. Exams like Internal exam conducted after 15-20 days after the start of any topic, exams are not very tough one can easily score good marks if he rote the class notes just 1 day before exam

Placements have taken place here in the past and the final year students are eligible. However, campus placement has not taken place for the years 2019, 2020. Nestle, Thyrocare Laboratories, Abbott Healthcare, Ajanta pharma, Apollo Hospitals have visited the campus in the past. Average packages range from 20,000/per month. Most students opt for higher studies. Some get placed. 40% of students secure placements through off campus means. I wish to opt for MPharm after the completion of my course.

The students get placement from the final year. The companies are Microsoft, Bandhan bank, HDFC Bank etc. The average package is 8 lakh and the highest package is 26 lakh. The maximum number of students who get placement having a percentage of 60+. I plan to get a job at Microsoft.

Students can take admission from Higher Secondary & they can continue up to Graduation. The college has been reaccredited as grade ‘A’ with CGPA of 3.12 by NAAC. Approx 5% students get placements. I have completed my graduation & currently, I am preparing for Bank exams.
