I like the beautiful campus, playgrounds, gymnasium and also the education system of the university is also good.
Teachers are good and friendly. they help you regarding your problem

Dislikes

Our hostel food is very bad quality. Many times due to the food we suffer from constipation and other unhealthy conditions.
Some of the department also quite bad and some of university area also looking bad.
The hostel mess food is not good and it is unhealthy also

The best University and the the best experiences.

The best and most positive aspect of my University is the environment of the university. This University is the only university in my state where there lies limitless greenery, beautiful and unique sights of birds, insects and animals. I love it much
Another best aspect of my University are the various departments and academic centres. The university allows the students from all over the world the opportunities to enroll themselves in different courses, diploma and certificate course. I love it

A slight concern about my University is the fact that security breaches are often common phenomenon in the university. To some extent students basically girls are not much safe in the university after evening 7 pm onwards which makes it difficult for
Another concern is that our university lacks hostel facilities for both girls and boys students. All the students studying in the university cannot avail hostel facilities which creates financial burden for most of the students coming from outside of

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses offered in the university are very professional. Professional in terms of application and way of dealing. I particularly chose the b.ed course in the university considering its varied syllabus and curriculum patterns; the course offered a robust amount of both academic as well as nonacademic practical knowledge and wisdom which will help everyone to face life with utmost courage, sincerity, discipline, and flexibility. The university follows a semester examination system which means final semester exams are conducted twice a year. The best part is that apart from the final examination the departments and centers conduct sessional examinations, seminars, presentations, viva, and home assignments. Because of this I personally chose this University.

Likes

Great exposure to research line as dibrugarh University has a name for itself in space research.
Campus Life is very vibrant and peaceful
Fees wise it is very cheap also you get a lot of scholarships

Dislikes

Some of the faculty members are not very good at their work
The university administration sometimes take very bizzare divisions and hostel is allotted based on marks not based on needs and distance of candidates home place
Student politics prevails here if you keep yourself out then it's not an issue

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is at par with top institutions and often we find questions from class appearing in prestigious exams such as CSIR-NET, GATE , JEST. Real world relevance is less if only the curriculum is considered but often professors suggest various materials that helps in building recent knowledge and help immensely for doing research works.

My humble college life in sibsagar college

Likes

I love my department and the professors..they are really very friendly and give good guidance.
The brindavan area is really good for taking a fresh air and chat.
The assistant staffs are well behaved and friendly

Dislikes

The canteen food are pricey and not good enough
Some dept professors are really petty and do not give marks because they hate our dept professors

Fees and Financial Aid:

I really hate the increase in tuition policy. We are not poor, but we are not rich either so they should consider keeping the tuition fees average because middle-class families don't get the bpl card. The complete cost would be 25000 above, including everything.

Sibsagar College and Now Sibsagar University a brief Description.

Likes

The college faculty is amazing, and professors of English department are so dedicated and kind and also knowledgeable.
College campus is very beautiful with a lake and tample within the campus also it is one of the biggest campus in upper Assam.
The events are amazing there are so many opportunities for showcasing your talents.

Dislikes

Drinking water is a huge problem in this college you have to buy every drop of water.
Another problem is college gate is remaind closed until 2 P.M like schools.
At last Principal is arrogant and abusive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took English literature because of my interest in Shakespeare. The course in our college fullfills my expectations it covers the literature from the Anglo-Saxon period to the Post modern period it also builds a strong base for the masters because the syllabus is made by Pankaj sir and he is a literally genius in this field but I think he should decrease the level of difficulty a little bit because for the academically poor kids it is though to pass the exam, but exam times are on point they give us sufficient time to prepare for our finals.

Departmental Faculties are really friendly.They are quite helpful in the college attendance and other stuff..
Internship opportunities are quite good someone is really interested.Teachers are quite helpful.
Principal is strict hence academics are given utmost priority. Its helpful for the students who are willing to learn.

Dislikes

Campus is small and surrounded by jungles.Very few shops and medical stores nearby.
No events. Principal is strict so events and shows are seen as a bad thing so this is a major negative point.
Lack of infrastructure. This college doesn't have even 1% infrastructure what a engineering college should have

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bsc NEP new curriculum is quite good.we have subjects like economics,sociology etc which will help us in the future surely.Engineering students also have these subjects.On top of that we have internship opportunities as well which helps the students a lot.

DCB Girls'College is one of the oldest, popular and best women college of upper Assam.

Likes

Regular classes is held and course is always completed on time by teachers and lectures are provided in both Assamese and English language.
The rules and regulations must be followed by all students, everyone gets same treatment without any discrimination and no ragging .

Dislikes

Campus is a bit small, we don't have our own playground for which in sports weeks we have to visit district's court field for sports competition.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested with trees and plants. To gain more knowledge I discided to take Botany as my Major subject . I really enjoy learning about plants anatomy, morphology, scientific name, etc. I want to pursue my career on agriculture.

College administration is quite good , placement and all is better for CSE and decent for other branches

Dislikes

Practical knowledge and workshop is lagging behind no such practical field takes place and as of engineering no tech fest takes place

I had already decided during my 12th to choose this professional degree course and wanted to learn more about the field works of a mechanical engineer and when I got admission in the college by giving a a entrance exam based on Assam engineering colleges I got admission into Jorhat engineering college which on 2nd most top engineering college of Assam .

Life at Dibrugarh University

Likes

I like the beautiful campus, playgrounds, gymnasium and also the education system of the University is also good.
The professors are highly qualified and are ready to help whenever needed.
Regular conference, seminars on various topics, interactive sessions held regularly.

Dislikes

Lack of placement opportunities, the hostels and its food are not upto the mark.
Many spaces are left unused. The University authority can use it for betterment of the University.

Placement Experience:

The law department in our university doesn't provide placement opportunities for now. But it is under discussion with the administration.It might be successful after 5 to 6 years. There are various opportunities are open after completing law degree such as the legal adviser, civil services, bank exams, judicial magistrate exams and so on.

Neat and clean campus . Our college campus is well maintained
Well behaved teachers. Teachers over DHSK Commerce college are well behaved and, they provide their best knowledge to us
Subject choice. we have a facility bro choice our subject for honour which we can relate with our future.

Dislikes

Large number of students in one class. We have to adjust in our class with maximum of 150 students in one class
Textbook are not available in library hall. We need to keep searching the books still we can't get

Yes, the decision of choosing B.com at DHSK Commerce college is quite a good opinion for those we wants to relate with commerce background. B.com course is literally gonna be a good option for all the commercial students. Like if we talk about the improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods yes we could say that we leak the facilities of online internship. The b.com are sub divided in 6 following semester and each semester have time gap of 4 month within the 4month we the students have to complete the entire portion for our end semester exam.

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly.

Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.

The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.

Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
