Financial assistance ishan udhoy scholarship this scholarship literally helps those who belong to poor families and helps them in fulfilling their needs.
I like the beautiful campus, playgrounds, gymnasium and also the education system of the university is also good.
Teachers are good and friendly. they help you regarding your problem

Dislikes

Our hostel food is very bad quality. Many times due to the food we suffer from constipation and other unhealthy conditions.
Some of the department also quite bad and some of university area also looking bad.
The hostel mess food is not good and it is unhealthy also

Likes

The dedication of the faculty members of the department. They were regular and finished the courses on time.
Digital classrooms, computer rooms and labs are there which makes the teaching learning process fun and effective.

Dislikes

The playground or field of the campus is too small to carry out some activities
Some teachers are often late to class and do not give a lot of hardwork to explain the concepts, they simply read it out

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well planned. It has many practical aspects which is useful in the outside or real world. Teaching practice and practical application of tools are taught. However more audio visual aids and other equipments could be used for making the learning better. The examination pattern is good but most of the time 6 months course is not given before the exam

Likes

Things I like about my college is that it focuses on the extra curricular activities such as sports, dance etc
I like the campus of my college. It is eco friendly and is too big and have sheds for the students to rest ( good for summer days)
The professors are really very helpful and friendly doesn't make us feel uncomfortable

Dislikes

It should focus more on the studies too just as it focuses on the extra curricular activities
The professors also should speak in English because there are some students who find it difficult to understand Assamese

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed History as my major subject because it will help me in my prepration for competitive exams. As I've other subjects too which is related to the real world so it does help the students. Also I've computer as my SEC subject which will help me find a job in my future. But the teachers should use practical methods for the students to make them understand.

Likes

The environment of the university is quite pleasent. Anyone can enjoy amidst the greenery, the peoples including the professors
The course is designed in such a way that you can get the maximum benefit from it.

Dislikes

The course intake can be increased by noticing the demand of the students.
The research project period can be increased.
More classes on competitive exams can be organised.

The course curriculum is designed in such a way that you can get maximum benefit from the course. The course will help you to prepare for exams like NET GATE etc. More digital learning systems can be introduced and more frequent exams may take place.

Very Good college. All departments are very good.
Big campus with big playground. Nice environment.
Teachers are very good and helpful. They solve every doubt

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not up to date. I hope it will be better soon.
No techfest has organised till date after my admission.

Placement Experience:

It is all up to you to get a placement. As we all know this time is for all IT companies, so you have to skill to get a good placement. the placement cell will give proper guidance for that.

DHSK college through the eyes of its students.

Likes

Cleanliness maintained and strict rules imposed to ensure a clean and green college.
Well developed and modern infrastructure with digitalized attendance system.
Interactive faculty. Well preserved laboratories and study material.

Dislikes

Need of more books in library corresponding to the current syllabus.
Previous year question papers should be made available.
Compact auditorium which usually can't hold students during a function and there is suffocation and heat.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose botany because I had liked plants and wanted to know more about them. Also I find it interesting to pursue. The course provided by Dibrugarh University over 4 years and 8 semesters provide a profound understanding of the subject step by step without letting the pressure of unknown things build up.

I mostly like Cafetaria and their foods are good
I like the campus and garden which name is brindavan

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness I want to rate 5 because the timing of exam is sometimes very good but sometimes it's too early so this is their difficult level. The course curriculum is good.

The college enviornment is good. The faculty members are friendly

There is no proper ground or field in the campus.
It is near the roadside so there is noice pollution sometimes

The curriculum is very systematic. The teaching method is good. Many programmes are organised related to our career. Many well known people gives us lectures on our career. The sessional exams are held after three months of starting of the course. The semester exams are held in May and December.

My experience in my college

Likes

I enjoyed the campus Ife, faculty was really good, the methods of teaching was quite good
Sports and annual programs were amazing to participate on
Course curriculum was desingned in such a method that it was very interesting and easy to complete

Dislikes

Teacher faculties was not as that much good
Surroundings was not good surrounded by some creepy areas
Admition process was too complecated and complex

I chooses this curriculum because it was desingned in such a way that can make any beginer in accounts and finance an expert of the subject. Although curriculam was good but due to poor faculty it could not helped me prepare for the real world challeges and further academic pursuits. Improvement should be done in the teching methods specially in maths, economics and business subjects. E Exams timings were good

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements are nor too bad in our college. Every year a lots of students are being placed in various companies. Some students are also being placed directly in Govt. Jobs like OIL India Ltd. and some refineries. And for those who are not placed, they go for further studies and some prepare for Govt. jobs Offcampus.

A breif summary into JEC

Likes

The teaching environment isvery friendly.
The events organised by the college are quite lively.
Time management becomes easy due to a good scheduled routine.

Dislikes

The campus is a bit small, could have been bigger.
Some classes get very boring to attend, either due to the teachers or due to the subjects.
Hate the assignments and all of the journals that need to be submitted.

Placement Experience:

Placements have been a major role in this college. While sometimes placements may get weak but other times these opportunities get really well. Major companies come to pick up job offers during the on campus interviews with the average package being from around 3-5 lakhs per annum.

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly.

Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.

The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.

Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
