Financial assistance ishan udhoy scholarship this scholarship literally helps those who belong to poor families and helps them in fulfilling their needs.
I like the beautiful campus, playgrounds, gymnasium and also the education system of the university is also good.
Teachers are good and friendly. they help you regarding your problem

Dislikes

Our hostel food is very bad quality. Many times due to the food we suffer from constipation and other unhealthy conditions.
Some of the department also quite bad and some of university area also looking bad.
The hostel mess food is not good and it is unhealthy also

The experience was good in it and the facility are also good
High quality education in it college campus
College faculty members are also good in behaviour

The college campus in not that big for the general uses
Due to alot of student there will a shortage pf classroom
They didn’t provide a digital class in general

I choose this course because of my interest in this course and in the future this course will be help me to get a job A circulam was the knowlege and skill that succeeded future academic pursuits and in life The institution need to improve to teach more detaily in the course They frequently depend what was the exam about for based on that the difficulty will be known.

Likes

Its education and the way of the teachers teachings,and the teachers were so good with us
It have a big playground and different sports were been conducted in the sport week
As compared to the education the fees of the college taken was very low and affordable

Dislikes

I dislike the the time only when the some of the students diobey the teachers
As pefers as other colleges it also have a strict teacher
We were not allowed to go outside at the clas hours

We have celebrated culture program and manny other programs like teachers day, students day,and verious kind of program,the exam timing were also good since it always comes from the board and give a good time to complete our papers

The things that i liked in my college are the teachers and the whole duliajan college family
And the friends are not just friend but are like brother from another mother

Unveiling Digboi College: An average Student's Perspective

The surrounding environment, that is cool...
No raging is aloud as it's also prohibited by the government of Assam.
Friendly people, and easy to communicate

Dislikes

Some of the Teachers' attitude, act like God of the subject.
They say "No Plastic" but everywhere plastic is lying down.
No use of NSS unit, they only appear when there's chance to get free food or.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Here, in this college, just like other colleges, focuses on Theory over Practical, where instead they need to focus on Practical over Theory. They provide the Theory very lately when until by then, we forget some things that creates confusions. Lately, I mean, what we do in theories now, will be held after 1 year in practicals. I'm happy that FYUGP system has been implemented to this college too, so we get Subjects for the development of Skills, Ability, but nothing is taught seriously. I hate strictness, but they can improve the college by being more strict, by focusing on practicals, assignments, project works, etc. Exams are held normally, i.e., thrice a semester as I've mentioned on the previous page.

Likes

The teaching and the non teaching staff are highly appreciable with the effort they put towards their duty.
The fees structure for the course is very much value for money as it is a Govt. based college.
The examination facilites of the college are good with a very organised examination structure.

Dislikes

The laboratory of the college are not well equiped.
The lab are closed at 4.30pm which makes it difficult for students to work for extra hours in lab environment.
The watersupply system of the college is not functional for most of the time which doesn't meet the need of students properly.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year itself. There are various PSU sector industries such as NRL , Oil India Ltd. , ONGC etc and many other companies such as Capgemini, Cognigent, TCS etc visit our college every year and offers approx 15 vaccancies in every branch of engineering.

The infrastructure was very neat and clean. The classrooms were well equipped with smart electronics needed for better studies. The infrastructure is also really good. The campus provides a good environment for study

Placement Experience:

The college provides placement in different NGOs and companies like flipkart, amazon, hotels, NGOs, banks, hospital etc. The placements are given after the 5th semester. They provide us a wide opportunity to show our skills.

NERIM , where tradition meets education

Likes

The faculty is very intellectual and organized.
The ambience is clean and well functioned.
The college timing is very appropriate for the students.

Dislikes

The campus needs to be a bit vast and interesting.
There should be more extra curricular activities .
A proper and tidy canteen needs to be provided as well.

I would rate the course curriculum 7 on 10. The curriculum provides practical knowledge which prepares us for further academic pursuit. The basics of chosen course are made clear to us with interesting methods.

This is a professional course and we have to specialise what we have to choose in the last semester like we have HR,Finance and Marketing , we can choose any one of them and can study further.And the timing of our exam is sessional exam is conducted after 2 months and final exam is conducted after 3 and a half months

I really like our faculty members . They are really nice to everyone
They have great faculty members . They really help everyone student
They have a large computer class room with 100 plus computers

Dislikes

Our college campus is a little bit small compared to other colleges .
They don't have good canteen or the food of the canteen is not really good.
They don't have a large auditorium or hall .

During the first year, the students of all branches will have a common classroom for all subjects. It is from the 3rd semester that you will be well acquainted with respective branches. The teachers are very dedicated and cooperative and the classes are held regularly.

Alongside academics, you would be left with enough time to excel through various extra-curricular activities. The annual tech fest “Auxesis” is held every odd semester and the University Week is held every even semester. The workload becomes exhausting during these semesters.

The campus is serene and splendid. The greenery everywhere brings out the best of the serene beauty and creates an enthusiastic environment for studying. Overall, your college time here would be terrific.

Everyone has their own individual perspective and opinions thus; your experience might be very much different and better too.
