The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities
The courses are very good as they probide a vast selection of them.

Dislikes

There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

Good and brilliant

Likes

Good environment with good knowledge and cirriculums
Focuses on sports activities for both boys and girls
Teachers support every students for their best academic results

Dislikes

Cleanliness should be given more importance
Gym facilities for both boys and girls should be upgraded
The playground should be provided for extra curricular activities

1.Basically i choose this course in my own decision because i have interest on this course from my very beginning 2.The curriculum prepares me really well 3.The teaching method is up to the mark 4.Frequency and timing of exam is enough for the level of paper

GCC: The best in Assam.

Likes

The classrooms are very spacious and quite clean.
The teachers are good too and very cooperative

Dislikes

The campus could have been a little big.

Course Curriculum Overview:

GCC has the best faculty members and has now become a brand in the market for Commerce graduates. The curriculum here is good but I feel it lacks a pratical approach and is based on more theory which doesn't really help us in the job

Likes

The environment of the college is very pleasant
There are many activities which help in communication skills development
The infrastructure is very appealing which makes it more beautiful

Dislikes

The placement is quite low in comparison
The boy to girl is very low there should be a Balance
The subject department can be more approachable

The curriculum is lagging behind as compared to the market requirements, there's a wide room for development, modern world needs some extra subjects for growing market and increasing competition in the market

GCC MY DREAM COLLEGE

Likes

I liked that the teacher care for the college and their student's greater life.
I liked the teacher's teaching techniques. Teachers arrived the college as soon as possible.
I liked the auditorium of the college and functions occurred in the college.

Dislikes

Poor facilities for sports, not Many sports things are there.
Poor drainage system, there is always flood when there is raining.
Poor ground, can't play cricket and football there.

It's an easy course after HS so I choose this course, timing of exams are very frequent, and the difficulty level is as per the courses, Higher the course, higher the level of difficulty. Most of the people choose this course.

Awesome College

Likes

Teachers teaching skill is awesome and easily understandable
Campus and class room are clean and beautiful and also the garden
College canteen is awesome.. almost all the necessary food are available

Dislikes

Girls toilet are not so good .. toilet smell very bad
Wifi connection are poor.. unable to used it

I choose this course because I want to be a banker and in my aim journey this course will help me. Also this course prepares me to face every difficult situation and to find a solution. since my aim is a banker so this course provides me a lot about banks .

Likes

The college environment is very friendly
The college is very old so it is reputed
It has a good environment for making new friends

Dislikes

The quality of education is very poor teachers are incapable of teaching properly most of them just read out from book and don't have the ability to impart conceptual knowledge... They prefer bookish knowledge that is impractical
Faculty does not help only there to fill their pockets rest of the colleges in the city have better decipline.
It's very often that I find Students cheating in exam all around me

It is very irrelevant in a practical subject where a student needs to understand practical how to make account and knowledge how to handle items in it they teach advantage disadvantages objective scope in a practical paper 40 marks is for practical and 80 marks in theory being option between practical and theory ... So a student who has concepts and understanding and avoids theory can never score above 40 but a student who doesn't understand any of the essence of the subject can score higher marks by just going through the theory of last 3 year papers ...

My College Diaries.

Likes

The teachers are very Good, they teach each of every student and we understand the concept perfectly.
The Class Rooms are very Clean and Refresher that we study on our bench.
The environment of the college was soo good .

Dislikes

The Parking area has to be more larger than now.
The Sports field Is very short and the students were unable to play properly
Canteen has to contain more foods like healthy for students would eat it.

The college provides free aids to students having low income certificate, it also encourages cultural programs and sports. The ratio of boys : girls is approximately 60:40

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams are moderate level. But the timing of the exams are quite uncertain. It is a well reputed college with variations in their course offered. So I have opted for this college moreover the fees structure is also relatively low as compared to other colleges

I like the environment of the college as its is far from the main road so for that vehicle noise is inaudible
Campus life is good and I make some friends

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.

Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.

Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.

Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.

Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.

The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
