The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities
The courses are very good as they probide a vast selection of them.

Dislikes

There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

About my college campus and hostel facility

Likes

Our college have all good facility with big White boards in the classroom and have electricity facility
Girls population are more than the boys in our college
We have a big college campus with full of trees and flowers our college provide good education teachers are very professional

Dislikes

There are somethings like they provide hostel for only girls there was no hostel for boys this was the disadvantage
The regular classes which are little bit pressurise
Some subjects are missing this was also a big problem

I get good marks in my graduation but yes i want to take major in english which i couldn't take in my graduation so i take it in my master's which was i am doing from ignou so therefore i had to take in major in philosophy though the teaching methods are good in our college

Discipline and security is a very good aspect of this institution.
Location of the campus is very good for the peace,as it is not near the town nor too far .
Attendance is very important here . Which is great .

Dislikes

Sports infrastructure is very bad .There is no indoor stadium here . Sports equipment are also not provided regularly.We have to buy our own .No Table tennis board,no cricket ground.
2 of the hostel are very far from the campus.for 1 year students, which is quite bad .
Maintenance is bad .In the main gate , institutes name is also not written .

Placement Experience:

There is campus placement in citk ,but it is not so good .As ,Only 50% students get placement for campus and the package is quite low . Form 3th year onwards you are eligible for campus placement interviews. Infosys,amul ,tata etc visited here . Amul have offered the most placements The highest package is 15 lakh apm.and the average here is 4.5 lakh amp. My plan is to study higher and complete my master in technology.

Class rooms are great, clean, spacious and equipped with smartboards
Teacher are good and friendly in nature and very helpful

Likes

Classroom, clean and fresh drinking water every where in the campus, teachers and their behaviour, office staff
Hostel fee , admission fee, scholarships are very easy to get
Teachers provide quality of education and helps in future examinations like entrance test and other compititive examinations

Dislikes

Hostel food and unclean water at the hostel
The hostel water tank has never been cleaned
There is no inverter or generator or solar panel for hostel border as electricity is big issue in summer at Nagaon

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is somewhere vast but very helpful for further studies. If someone really wants to apply for UGC NET then this curriculum will be very helpful. In this course it has been tried to cover the most important topics for political science and generic subject can be choose on the basis of one's own interest.

A good govt college with inumerous mentorshipe events happening aroun
The college infrastructure is good enough to fit the enough number of students

Dislikes

The faculties are a bit rude and sometimes uneven tooo
The college infrastructure is all good but the main problem is flood overflow

Course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is good but not in the level students might expect it to be because of the irregularities present in the FYUGP system...courses include not wanted subjects for extra knowledge but instead gives more pressure

Likes

We have two sports areas one is for badminton and another is for volleyball and basy
We have bathrooms for the transgender students
We have hostels for girls only for the distance students

Dislikes

Bathroom of our college is need to upgrade

My course is based on commercial works, which is beneficial for my career and one of the famous course b.com. Our exams were held in the first quarter of the starting months of the semester. Exams were made easy so the students can easily pass with certain knowledge

Life at Tezpur College

Likes

It has a park and good transport facility
It has good staff and social service people
Sports and strong cultural background for students.

Dislikes

The campus is small and has less department.
The playground is located far away and need to travel
Sometimes the faculty personnel are rude

My little brother has studied earlier and has cheap fees structure which was attractive.It doesn't prepare us for real life experiences.key to improvement is new technology and good classrooms.Exams are held after every 2 months.

Gauhati University and the life it holds

It has greate campus and good environment.
It has good professors who are helpful and intelligent.
It has nice places where one can spend quality time.

Dislikes

The process of migration is extremely slow.
The administrative work is tedious process.
Attendance is mandatory and need to be over 75%.

I was really attracted by the campus life and hostel life and thought studying would be great in those campus. There is no real world application everything is theoretical. Areas of improvement are innovation and creativity to be brought by faculty and use of modern technology.exam timing are off usually ends before the new year and during it. Final exams are relatively easier than sessional

The college faculty is good, the teaching methods of our professor is very good
The library of our college is awesome, the discipline, and all are books in available in our college।
I like the sport room, where I can play many sports

The function of our college is not good, because they took a lot of money from us
The common room of boys in our college is bed, there are very noise
The students union is not good because they don't take responsibility

I chossed the course because I liked arts, an I wanted to become a sivil service, this course is good for me. The teaching methods is good and don't need improvement. There the exam is come semester after 6 months. The course is tuff but not too much difficult. 80 percent students pass and 20 percent students fail.

there is no post graduation degree available in other subject . only assamese subject have post graduation is available

lack of clean bathroom and toilet are not hygienic . the canteen food is not healthy .

Our exam facultiy is good . the timing of exam is our perspective is not much good .The tecaher exam controller system is very good supportive in our college .

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.

Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.

Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.

Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.

Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.

The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
