Everyone is friendly .all professors are helpful.very impactful teaching and very good experience and overall development.good coding environment and healthy competition among students.overall very knowledgeable and helpful faculty.
Pleacement of the college is going very nice many good company like google yahoo microsoft twitter comming for take placement and avg package of the electrical engineering students is 1200000,and cse students avg package is 1500000
Fee can vary between 4500 per semester to 60000 per semester .scholarship like minority-1,gen-1, sc-1, ... are provided to help students to complete there 4 year course without feeling financial burden

Dislikes

The placement for 2020-24 batch was not too nice like previous year .
Due to very low area ,we are somewhat feel problematic when have to organise any event at bigger level.
There will be no scholarship provided by any government site .about the placement is not good enough, especially for our branch the placement is too low and who have they got it a very low salary .

Things About NIT Patna

Likes

The course is well designed and the faculties are also good. Exams are conducted regularly and timely.
there is very good students environment seniors are helpful and the clubs make u ready like professional.
extra activities like sports and cultural events are held regularly. The fests are also good .

Dislikes

the campus is very small which is quite a disadvantage for me.
there is only one ground therefore all sports are conducted simultaneously.
there are sections divided for same department and same year which is not good i think.

Placement Experience:

The placement is now good as compared to previous years. The average salary offered is around 14 LPA. The highest on campus salary offered is 52 LPA. one student of NIT Patna got 1.2 cr package offcampus. There is obviously a eligibility criteria for sitting in placement. one should have GPA above the mentioned figure to apply for placement.

Teaching is good . Professors are supportive
Seniors are good and very supportive nature

Dislikes

Clubs are not very advanced and fests are not good
Mess foods are sometimes unhygienic and we have to. Clean our room own
Library and medical not available for Sunday

Placement Experience:

If you have skills and development then only you get PPO i.e, pre-placement offer in the 3 Rd year ,provides interships also .. but sometimes it is all about luck ????. Anyways the highest placement is 1.8 crs which off campus placement . In the year 2023 the highest placememt in on campus is 22 lkh

Classes and labs are completed on the time
Examinations are on the time and very smoothly
Professors are very cool and friendly vibes

Dislikes

One of the most dislike for this campus is small campus
For playing sports there is only one ground
Student activity centre is also very small

Placement Experience:

Placements at NIT Patna is good. There are so many companies are coming like core company, consulting company, trading company. 60-70% students are getting placement in on campus as well as off campus

Good but not enough

I like the environment of college, the facility is good for students like us who belonged from rural areas .
The location of the nitp is good besides the ganga river it provides a content of peace within you when you feel bore .
The expenditure is not so much high comparing to non government colleges so it is good for us who is not capable of giving high fees.

Dislikes

The placement which is not good as much as it is shown.
There will be not any guidance provided by faculty for your placement.
Everyone here is so self oriented.so it makes to feel alone .

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for placement after 6 semester.so many companies visited every year that is nearly 112 that includes Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys etc.In 2023 the highest salary is offered that is equal to 52 LPA and average is 13 LPA .we can't have data about specific company. the percentage of placement is below than 50 in this year .for me I wanted to do M tech so I will prepare for gate after the completion of degree.

Other curriculum ( clubs, events etc) and support of professors.
increasing quality and quantity of placement

classrooms of departments other than civil engineering
Food quality offered by our college mess.
small campus. whenever feels like school.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement but from 5th semester students are eligible for internship. ICICI Bank, Phonepe, L&T etc. are visiting our college and approx 80 percent students got placed. I'm trying to get placement in 7th semester.

M.tech from nit patna

Likes

Campus is beside river so you get wonderful atmosphere
Festival and all are celebrated really well
You have cricket ground and one seperate building for indoor sports activities

Dislikes

We in master of technology don't get college hostels
We are not allowed to go on the bank of river
Placement scenario is not so clear for us as mtech students

Course Curriculum Overview:

By doing masters you get specialized in the field you choose . It gives you more clear knowledge of the subjects which you are interested in. And here you get time for preparation along with studies as teacher's don't give additional pressure.

My review on NitP

Likes

Technical fests and Cultural fests are quite enjoyable.
Placements are better than most of local colleges.
Friends are good and friendly who are helpful in many situation.

Dislikes

Location of college is quite out of place.
Language barrier is kinda a problem and have to learn a common language.
Academic exams are kinda hard to pass exam.

Placement Experience:

In past year that is 2023 our college national institute of techonology patna got a placement of 75 percent. The highest package offered during last year was forty five lakhs per annum. Out of 180 students 135 got placed.

Small campus area making it very accessible for everyone.

Dislikes

Mess food quality is not good can be improved.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for sitting in placement. Top companies visiting our college fro recruitment are Infosys, Samsung, Amazon, Wipro, IBM, Oracle, Capgemini and many more. In core sector companies like L and T, Tata motors etc visit campus.

The overall environment of the college is very good
Various clubs are actively organising events during the whole year
The professors here are great and helps us in every situation

Dislikes

The campus area of our current college is small as compared to other NITs
Due to the less campus area , labs of some subjects are small
Due to the small campus area , playground is also small

Placement Experience:

The college placements are good as we hear from our college seniors and professors . A student entering into the 3rd year(5th semester) gets eligible for internships .while he gets eligible for placements after entering in the 4th year

Pros and Corns of taking admission in Nit Patna.

Likes

We have Avery good classroom of Nit Patna.
We also have a very beautiful campus of Nit Patna.
We also have a very big playground to play cricket.

Dislikes

Our hostels are not so good for fresher students.
Our mess food is not so good some time .
We have not a proper wifi connection to our hostel.

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for campus placement in the 5th semester. Around 70 to 80 per cent of students get placed here. Highest package is around 30 to 40 lakhs per annum and the average is around 9 to 12 lakhs per annum
