My department faculty are good .they are very helpful and friendly nature .my department teacher communication are also good ,they know very well how to manage a class ,how to make a bad student in good department.
Renowned companies such as dainik bhaskar and navbharat times visit the campus, offering placements to smart and bright students.
Fees is really less as compared to the given facility and opportunities here national scholarship and state scholarship also available here internship also available campus is very good neat and clean..

Dislikes

There's no placement opportunities provided here which is a negative point. it makes a huge impact on the future of student.
Canteen is though providing snacks and all but quality is not so good and secondly the university is far from main city so students are having problem in maintaining their breakfast and lunch
Here in chemistry department the faculty to student ratio is low we dont have subject specific teacher plus the lack of equipment is becoming a obstacles for student to grow further faculty is not interested in overall development of student

Faculty are impressive and supportive as well as prodigious
Infrastructure is very good and environment friendly

Dislikes

Hostel is poor and electricity is not available properly
Not seperate building is provided for English department

There are in total 8 semesters and the pattern of examination is also quite good, there are frequent lab assessments and class tests to monitor and overall physical cognitive and emotional aspects are also been kept in mind

I am pursuing BSc forensic science Hons courses which is very interesting. They have better methods to aid justice in criminal court. Many movies and web shows piqued my interest in forensic science. The course curriculum are completed before the semester.

I get the information from the cuet website that guru Ghasi das University has offer bsc in forensic science it's just a very interesting subject to study forensic science students always deals with criminal cases to help law and order

College has good campus. All the faculties are well trained and educated . They are very helpful towards student.

Dislikes

In department some time there is shortage of water.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for campus placement. Not much company visit. MacLeod Pharma company visited last year. Although many students opt for the higher studies but 50% students gets placed.

The infrastructure is very good and in more than 650 hectares
It is a nacc accriated University with A++
Examination structure is quite good and efficient

Hostel mess is private and there are certain problems
Ways of transport across the university for students
Placement is not up to mark almost no campus placement in forestry

The Lush Green 655 Acre Campus. Our Forestry Department Is Accredited A++ By The ICFRE, Dehradun And University Is Accredited With A++ By NAAC

Slow Academic Work, The Procedure Of Fees Payment Admit Card Downloading Or Results Is Not Good The Samarth Portal Is Not Good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum Is Designed Not Just To Complete The Bachelor's Degree Only. It Is Designed Keeping In Mind That If Any Student Want To Prepare For Competitive Exams So They Are Ready For Optional Subjects. As In Our Course The Optional Subjects Required For Indian Forest Services Exam Are Included In Our Curriculum. Also If Anyone Wants To Go For M.Sc And PhD Then There Are Multiple Subjects Available For Masters And Doctorate. After Completing Graduation A Student Will Be Able To Stand For And IFS Exam Also If They Are Not Opting For Govt Jobs. Then They'll Be This Able That They Can Open A Business Related To Mushroom Production, Bamboo Products, Honey Production, Timber Production, Nursery Etc As Same Of The Trainings Are Provided During The Course. There Is Not Improvement Required In Course And The Teaching Methods As Everything Is Going Well. The Frequency Of Exams Is Every 6 Months And In Six Months 2 Mid Terms And 1 Final Exam With Practicals Is Done With A Good Difficultly.

I like that the teaching method there is very good, lab classes are also conducted there. And the exam timing is between 2 to 5. And teachers react very well with children And our classrooms are also very nice

Environment, mainly the greenery inside the campus along side a wide variety of animal species mainly in birds if you're a hostelite then you can visit the areas on weekends early in the morning to watch the good sceneries of nature
Cultural events and seminars , I think atleast there are 2-3 seminars every week in the auditorium and the events such as singing and dancing which as students we enjoy a lot in these events and seminars
Internships , as a student from social work department i was offered internship from department itself which is a good and fast way of learning the work and gain experience

Dislikes

Vacation, as per me they offer a lot of holidays during vacation sometimes it feels like we are still in our school days as sat- sun is a holiday , in summer we get 1.5months holiday in winter vacation we get 15-20 days vacation
Exam time, as I said that they are giving too much of holidays they always take our semester exams before Holidays and vacation so we get more 15-20 days extra in our holidays like our summer vacation starts from 15 may so they end up exams from 4may
Senior boys hostel infrastructure, as I'm a hostelite in junior hostel it feels like a five star hotel as per infrastructure but when we completed our 2nd semester we have been transferred to senior boys hostel which is like a ghost town almost

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mainly I have taken admission in this college for its course curriculum only as I'm also getting admission in tiss tuljapur, vishva bharti and niswaas but the course curriculum which the university and social work department offers that's the main reason why I have choosen the course in this university. Basically other universities those are offering BA. SOCIAL WORK , they are offering internships but mostly they are offering internships but not from 1st semester itself but in GURU GHASIDAS VISHWAVIDYALAYA, they are offering it from 1st semester and they have placed us in NGO's in 1st and 2nd semester and then we have been placed in community and visit them every week on Friday so that's the best part of our course curriculum as BA.SOCIAL WORK is a professional course and internships are a important part to learn the work within NGO's and community.

I loved college fest as they are entertaining as well as informative.
College campus is huge with a lot of biodiversity.
Seniors and faculty are too good to junior or students

Dislikes

A bit far from city and night life is also okay okay.
Hostels have too much restrictions like fixed hours to go outside the hostel on weekends.

Placement Experience:

Recently guru ghasidas vishwavidyalaya got A++ naac ranking. So it shoul affect the placement of the university. It can be increased. Current average placement of 500000( 5 lakh ) per annum approximately but it can vary according to the department.. approx 70% students get placement.i wanted to join a firm and start practicing advocacy.

A journey to the campus of GGU

The best thing about our university is its huge campus which is distributed at about 650 acres of land, beautifully surrounded by nature.
The faculty of my department are highly educated, and have immense knowledge which can be well utilised by the students.
Several workshops, fests, cultural activities along with academics help student develop confidence and boost their confidence on stage.

Dislikes

The labs here have good equipments but they are not operated properly because no one knows to handle that.
The campus has a lot of monkeys as the university is located at the centre of koni forest. They snatch food from students which should be controlled.
There's no placement opportunities provided here which is a negative point. It makes a huge impact on the future of student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Syllabus is well divided in all the semester giving the students proper time to focus on each subject. We had 7 theory and 3 practical in 3 semester and the last semester has dissertation work which is a very good decision as it allows the students to learn on how to design a research and work on it. The constant support of mentor makes things easy to learn. But the semester is of short duration and that's why we were always in rush and couldn't give our best as we had expected before. We have 2 internal exams and a final exam each semester. But there's no fixed time for the internal exam which makes it difficult for the student.
