My department faculty are good .they are very helpful and friendly nature .my department teacher communication are also good ,they know very well how to manage a class ,how to make a bad student in good department.
Renowned companies such as dainik bhaskar and navbharat times visit the campus, offering placements to smart and bright students.
Fees is really less as compared to the given facility and opportunities here national scholarship and state scholarship also available here internship also available campus is very good neat and clean..

Dislikes

There's no placement opportunities provided here which is a negative point. it makes a huge impact on the future of student.
Canteen is though providing snacks and all but quality is not so good and secondly the university is far from main city so students are having problem in maintaining their breakfast and lunch
Here in chemistry department the faculty to student ratio is low we dont have subject specific teacher plus the lack of equipment is becoming a obstacles for student to grow further faculty is not interested in overall development of student

The campus of the University is one of the best things things, it is spread in over 650 acres of land.
One of the biggest perk of a Central University is that people from all over the country come here to study, which is a great thing from the point of network building.
The faculty of our departments are well qualified and their teaching makes it fun to learn even subjects like arts.

Dislikes

Their ain't much things to dislike in the university, things are getting better day by day but we still lack something including good campus placements
The exposure to industries is less, Visits, guest lectures etc doesn't happen on daily basis
Lack of equipments to practice in the department

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is updated ones in few years. The present curriculum is enough to stay relevant with the present state of the real world industry. The course doesn't focus on any one aspect of the media industry instead it prepares you for all the different areas and aspects.

Campus is very nice green and clean and covers very large area around 550 acres
Department of physics is very nice contains many instruments to learn and understand physics it also have particle accelerator.
Celebration of any festival is very great here! Alot of people joins it sometimes each department organizes festival to celebrate for their departments

Dislikes

Most commonly I hate the timing of the classes something there is no class for 2-3 hours in between the day.
Notification - we didn't get notified on time for some things like holidays,fee payment, or exams.
There must be more e-rikshaws for travel purpose we have only 2.

Placement Experience:

The students who are on the last semester of there course are eligible for the campus placement as after they will be graduated, In Bsc physics hons. we didn't get any specified campus placement mainly it is for technical courses the Highest average package are of 2.5 lakhs to 4.5 lakhs annum. Some names of the companys that offers placement are Mahindra,Infosys,zindal steel jio etc. It is all handled by The Central Placement Cell CPC of GGU. I am planning to apply for DRDO or CDS aftergetting my bsc degree and If I didn't get selected i would go for my masters

life at GGV

i liked the infrastructure and the various facilities in the college like girls common room in every department and the central library for l the students
various events take place and everyone contributes to the success of the event. people gives auditions for various activities like dance, singing, play , drama
various groups for singing, dance, play, drama which invites the students to showcase their talents in auditions. another thing that i really liked was a project started by the students of ggu called “swabhimaan thali”

Dislikes

there were some electricity problems during summer which was very irritating as it was already hot outside and students felt uncomfortable with no electricity.
sometimes the water cooler doesn’t work properly
washroom needs to be cleaned at proper time intervals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is accurate and relevant. It is very intriguing even and a quiet interesting. Teaching methods of the faculty is easy going. There could be a little improvement made like making the lectures a bit more interesting so that students dont get bored after a while. The frequency of the exam are apt but during end sems the time gap between one exam and another could be more as mostly there is only one day gap during two exams and it sometimes gets hard to catch up.

The things I liked about the college is the serene environment as it is full of lush green trees and is very organized.
The students here are from almost every state of the country which gives a candidate the taste of diversity and opportunities to make connections.
Faculties are highly experienced and qualified with qualification from all the prestigious institutions of India be it IIT's or BHU etc

Dislikes

Thing I don't like is the under usage of the resources of the university like solar panels are there but aren't functional
Another thing is that not all departments have covered parking area

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of curriculum of my subje6that is English literature is very rich in diversity of literature and depthness as well. It's very well crafted division of levels in different semester adds to the gradual learning process. Internals happen every 1 month and semester exam at the last month of semester.

Do know the college properly before joining it

Likes

Course fee is very affordable, and campus is very big and have sports facility to play different games.
Infrastructure is good and professor are highly qualified.
classes are very regular and labs are in good condition

Dislikes

internet is very slow in the campus and also college wifi speed is average
clubs are just for names not many programs do hold. So, interactions between different branches students are not that good. and also football ground is only accessible to sports department not even in tournament also.
attendance is very strict and every month there is a test and one semester is completed within a span of 3 months. only 7 to 10 days winter break, so there is only summer vacation were we do get the chance to go home

Placement Experience:

placements in this college is not that good , and im from civil branch so im not even going to get placement if i do get its is going to be very low around 2 to 3 lpa. from what i know i think students from 4 th year are only eligibe to seat in placements.Highest ever package i think is around 50lpa which is off campus. very few percentage of students do get placed. My aim after my degree is to give government exams and do something related to farming , agriculture , plantation

The learning opportunities is college is so much, you can explore various fields. The faculty is very supporting and encouraging that helps you to showcase your skills and learn different skills also.
In the college there are very good computer labs with updated software's and high-speed processors, huge library.
There is always some event going on in the college in which you can participate and showcase your skills and can meet with like-minded people and can gain confidence and leadership skills

Dislikes

The examinations are more based on theoretical knowledge rather than on the practical.
The classes are not scheduled properly, and timetable is not being followed strictly.
The coding subject paper should be taken on computers through coding not on the paper.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester Several companies visit the campus for recruitment including TCS, L&T, ServiceNow, and many other companies. The highest package offered was 17-18 LPA by American Express for software Engineer roles and the average package across all profiles was approximately 5 - 6 LPA. The percentage of the students should be above 70% some companies also have a no backlog or no ATKT criteria. After obtaining my degree, I plan to pursue a career in software development. I am going for placements and trying to achieve a software developer role in a good company.

Friendly Nature Of the teachers and Mentors also they support you if you are financially unstable by helping you in filling form of scholarships and etc.
Univeristy also provide Part time jobs to the students from which they can earn little more money Part Time Works like E rikshaw driver has been given to the students
The events and functions organised can make you stuck in the campus in festivals

Dislikes

The University is not much developed only building are constructed in the name of departments no other facilities are available other than basic needs
There are Only 30 seats available for NCC in all over university which i think gives a bad status.
Sometimes in rainy season snakes are found in the university campus and in sometimes they enter in departments also

Course Curriculum Overview:

One thing for which i am influenced to take admission in this university is the nature and enviroment of the place Bilaspur In chhatisgarh. It is not so hot and also not so cold moderate temparture is there in 12 months. And the other thing is this univeristy provide opportunities to participate in extra curricular activities like moot court legal aid cam etc. which provide us a real world experience in the field of law also the jail visits have been held. As i talk about the timings of exam and difficulty it is too good not so much difficulty and almost all students are clear those semester exams which are held in department.

Likes

Our campus is very beautiful and gives a peaceful environment
Our faculty of our classroom and course are very good
Other facilites are also here and we can explore even more

Dislikes

Campus is huge so its very difficult to reach to department everyday
There are few animals as well in the campus
Summer season are very very hectic here .

Course Curriculum Overview:

University has A++ grading by NAAC and give a good environment there are so many extra curricular activities we can explore, learn and think better we have two internal exams and one end semester exam and exam papers are moderate.

Our surroundings of university is soo postive it's like green green everywhere
Teacher are very nice and well educated and supportive
I see in many universities there are not even place to teach but here we have inoff place.

Dislikes

In my university there are where things is there like basketball court and all things of sports and here not even a single event is happening here.
Teacher are not doing prefect equality or chamcha logo ko jada numbers diye jaate hai it's very wrong
Prefect utilisation of resources and here alots of opportunities are there but university doesn't support

BA economics honours is very good course for who like to goo in this field because teachers of our department are well educated and supportive raveendra sir is bestest teachers for economics he is well educated and very nice he teaches us lots of lessons that are very use full fir us.

6 tha semester students became eligible for campus placement The highest and averages packages as per company and profiles offered is 6 lakh per annum as per my knowledge The minimum per of student should be 60 My plans after getting the degree is to take the placement or continue my studies in MCA
