Ambedkar University Delhi PG Admission FAQs

Ques. I have done my graduation in Commerce, but I want to do an MA in Psychology at Ambedkar University Delhi. Can I apply if my UG subject is different?

Ans. No, for MA Psychology, you must have a UG in Psychology. If your graduation is in another subject like Commerce, you can't apply. CUET-PG marks are important, but the subject also matters. Always check eligibility before applying, other wise university can reject your application. Even a high CUET score doesn't help if the background doesn't match.

Ques. I cleared CUET-PG, but I live very far from Delhi. Can I do counselling and document check online for Ambedkar University PG admission?

Ans. Mostly registration and counselling are online, but some documents may need to be physically submitted. Keep scanned copies ready. Papers like a migration certificate or original degree may need to be shown in person. Follow university instructions carefully. Many students manage from afar, but some steps need personal presence.

Ambedkar University Delhi Cutoff FAQs

Ques. I scored an average in CUET-UG, and I worried that maybe I wouldn't get a BA (Hons.) Psychology. Do cutoffs go down in later rounds at Ambedkar University Delhi?

Ans. Yes, cutoffs are very high in the first round, especially for popular courses like BA Psychology. But later rounds mostly go down because some students take seats at other universities. Even if your score average, joining all counselling rounds can increase the chance for admission.

Ques. I am planning for an MA in Economics at Ambedkar University Delhi. Cutoffs look too high first round. Can I get admission if my score is around average?

Ans. Yes, the first round cutoff is very high for popular PG courses, but they drop in later rounds. Seats open if a student leaves or joins another program. If the CUET-PG score average, waiting for the second or third round list, can increase the chance of getting admission.

Ambedkar University Delhi Conclusion

Ambedkar University Delhi is a top choice for UG, PG, and PhD programs, especially in Arts and Management. Admission is fully entrance-based via CUET UG/PG. Popular courses like BA, BBA, MA, and MBA have competitive cutoffs, but later counselling rounds can improve chances. Following eligibility, registration, counselling, and document verification carefully ensures smooth admission.

Ambedkar University Delhi Admission FAQs

Ques. Does Ambedkar University Delhi offer hostel facilities for UG and PG students?

Ans. Yes university has a hostel, but seat very less and most time students do not get fastly. Mostly, outside Delhi students get priority, but still depend on the merit list and document time. Many students apply late and do not get a room. So, better apply early for the chance.

Ques. Can I change my course after taking admission at Ambedkar University Delhi?

Ans. Course change is possible but not easy because the seat fill very fast. The university allows only in the first week, and it depends on your CUET score. If the cutoff is high and your score is low, then they will not give seat. Many students try, but only a few get approval from the office.

Ques. Is there any reservation policy followed during Ambedkar University Delhi admissions?

Ans. Yes, universities follow the government rule for SC, ST, OBC, PwD and EWS. Reserved students get some mark relaxation also. Sometimes students are confused, but the rules same every year. During counselling, you need to how a correct certificate; otherwise seat may be cancelled. Many students forget this and face issues later.

Ques. Does Ambedkar University Delhi accept improvement exam marks for UG admission?

Ans. Yes, improvement marks are also accepted, but only if you show the latest marksheet during verification. If the board delays the marksheet, then the problem comes. Many students think old marks ok but the university wants updated ones. So, better keep the new result print and upload it on the portal for safe admission.

For my masters, I had only applied to AUD, I was told the faculty and the university space was supportive. I had secured admission after I qualified the written admission test followed by personal interview by the faculty. II don't remember the cut-offs anymore, but you need to posess a graduation degree to be eligible to apply for the course.

I applied to DU and Christ University. I did not choose DU as the college i got was not that good in terms of faculty and overall environment and infra. Chirst i didn't choose as it was not an open and non judgmental environment. No. I got accepted everywhere i applied. Admission is through CUET exam. Eligibility is simple 65% in 12th grade and cut offs for CUET cor respect courses depends on the exam itself and the category of the student. Plus they give priority to residents of Delhi. Admission experience was fairly easy.

I applied for various other colleges such as some colleges in Delhi University, galgotias, KR mangalam etc. some of them I didn't choose due to the distance form my home and I did not get much DU colleges as I wanted to pursue Bba and not many colleges in DU provides Bba program. I did not get any DU college hence. The other colleges had high fees structure. This College just required the marks of general test and my name was in the first list hence I took this college not Waiting for other du lists as it would have been a risk. Initially I didn't had knowledge about cuet and I filled some subjects and took other courses, I generally filled subjects related to maths, physics and science but filled options for the course of Bba which was a huge blunder. I got this college luckily as I had filled Genral test as one of the subjects. The admission process of the college includes - 1. You have to give cuet ug exam and take one subject as general test. The the college will provide admissions through 7 lists so you have many opportunities to get an admission 2. Then they will mail you and tell you the dates for the first fee payment and enrollment. Then you have to teach at the university on the allocated date and then you have to provide all the documents required such as 10th and 12th marksheet, identity proof etc. 3. If you can apply for a fee waiver please do it as it will reduce the fee burden. The rest is simple they will call you for a. Orientation program and then you schedule and classes and id card will be provided to you. The cutoff for the general test was above 95 percentile. You have to have passed your 12th from a recognised board or institution. The overall admission experience was smooth, no difficulty was caused during the process various departments were there for various things and the management was decent

I applied mostly to the girls colleges of DU. But it was my first time giving CUET. Thus, I filled the wrong examination and wasn't offered the honors course by any other college except AUD. The admission process of AUD implied you to have the general test included in your CUET on the basis of which admissions were considered. I will simply prefer taking CUET exam and scoring 75% at least to get in AUD. Also as compared to ther colleges, fests are very minimal here making the college life all about studying.

For undergraduate courses in Economics, the required cutoff is about 2% lower as compared to the University of Delhi. It’s better to opt for AUD, rather than off-campus DU colleges.
