DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After 3rd year companies start hiring i.e. from the 7th semester while internships take place in the 5th semester. The highest package in my branch in 2022 was 84 Lakhs per year and the average was 20 lakhs per year. Around 80% of students got placed.

Placements of DTU are the best they are mostly compared to best NITs of India. But from two years due to Recession in engineering field placement rate has reduced. But from two three years students are planning their own startup and getting funded from DTU itself for example of first year student get 100 on his idea of helping each and every students in getting help in his admission or admission in colleges or related to college and courses engineering or any other field.

The curriculum has integrated subjects of coding for each branches which is very helpful.they even conduct workshops and seminars for each branches which bridges the institute -industry gap really well.

The course curriculum is outdated and there are many things taught that are not actually working at present. I am really interested in computer science field but I am actually learning it from youtube videos rather than college. In first year they literally teach some subjects like physics, ece, that I would never ever use in my life.

Third year college students become eligible for campus placements having minimum criteria of 7+ CGPA Companies recruiting for Management and Research based , accounting, types companies visit here for placements including Google , Microsoft and TCS Average package rangers from 5 lpa to 8lpa Highest package touched 12 lpa Many students opt for Further masters like MBA which makes a good combination.

All the tech courses in DTU are pretty much same as they target your development for placements. All the tech courses are 50-60% same and rest 50-40% will be the specialisation that course offers. There are 2 semester in 1 year each semester consists 2 exams (Mid sem and End sem) making it 4 exam in an year.

Placment is available 100s of companies come to our college and take up many students . Most companies have criteria of 8 cgpa to sid in placement so you need to focus a bit on studies also i am still a first year i am doing my best.

after 4th sem students are eligible for campus placements they are provided one mandatory internship by university and there are 200+ comapnies who visit every year which includes MAANG and WITCH and other companies as well the highest package go around 80lpa domestically while internationally it goes around 1.4cr usually 80% students are placed in college i want to work on my projects after graduation

Overall placement is good and average package is high. But this year percentage of students placed till now is low. If one didn't get placed they can go for higher studies or can take placement through referral.
