JNU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th Semester, students will be eligible for the campus placements if they have opted for the exit. Otherwise, students will be eligible for campus placements from the 9th Semester as the course is Integrated.

We have a dual degree program here. The first batch has not passed out yet so as of now there is no clarity about placement. Optum, TCS, salesforce, and Hughes have recently visited our college. I am planning to do masters in the United States of America.

Actually, I chose the course in JNU to prepare for the CIVIL Services examination as we have a nice talk about JNU regarding CIVILS. Faculty: student is 1:10(depends on the courses). Every faculty is a Ph.D. scholar. Term exams happen according to the academic calendar and to pass the exams we have to study 2-3hrs per day.

Masters students of subjects such as economics, and computers get placed along with the engineering and management students. There are several internship opportunities inside as well as outside the university.

I have taken up Linguistics as my course, Linguistics is the scientific study of language, where we get to explore the similarities and differences between world languages, and try to find out the endangered and extinct languages of the world, we then try to revive the extinct languages and try hard to preserve the endangered ones. It's an interesting subject because it tells you how important and unique every language is. We have 6 faculty members in our department right now, 6 more to be recruited this year, whereas we are almost 80students including both 1st and 2nd years. For now we have limited choices to choose among professors, but hopefully we'll get more recruits later this year Faculty members are well qualified, they are PhD holder. Some of them also have very well reputations in their fields. I have only had my 1st semester till now, the exam happened 2 months before its due time since our course is running late because of COVID 19 pandemic.

Because there are a lot more chances of getting a quality education in jnu, that's why I chose it and talking about the ratio of students and teachers, it's enough for any foreign language course students and facilities are so intellectual in their teaching field, and their teaching methods are so much good. if you study with proper preparation you can easily pass the sem exams.

From 5th-semester companies start visiting our campus and the average package goes upto 5-6 lakhs per annum and it's highest for Chinese that is 12 lakhs. When it comes to then I here for education not for placement as I'm a foreign services aspirant.

After M A I want to do PhD. in English and after that, I will try for the civil service Examination. The faculty of this University is the best and are having expertise in all their respective subject and fields. An examination can easily be passed if you have a clear concept in your mind.

Currently, we are the third batch of engineering and the first batch started in 2018 only so for now there are no placement stats in engineering but JNU M.tech placements are very good and a placement cell is formed for engineering students.

Our school is a new school established in 2018 and any batch had not graduated yet. So the placement scenarios cannot be told here but there is an active placement cell functioning in JNU which tries its best to bring the top-notch companies to our campus. You become eligible for placements in the final year of your degree. My plans are to get campus placement in a good company after completing this degree.
