Remarks

It is well known and esteemed college but the admission process is quite time-consuming. As you have to appear for the entrance test whose form available by April and application fees should be around 300 INR. And it's the result is declared by Oct. And there is a reservation for all the categories. I feel it is quite a time taking proceeds as you get enrolled in college in January next year. Come JNU it's full of exposures.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is a well-known university and also has good rankings on a global level for its teaching levels. And faculty is also nice and friendly. When it comes to exam it has 3 sessionals and 1 final for its one semester.

Internships Opportunities

5

I don't have much idea pertaining to this but one can avail education from our campus while working they also got hostel accommodation which is meant for only working students. With that, you have a lot of seniors who will guide you.

Placement Experience

5

From 5th-semester companies start visiting our campus and the average package goes upto 5-6 lakhs per annum and it's highest for Chinese that is 12 lakhs. When it comes to then I here for education not for placement as I'm a foreign services aspirant.

Fees and Financial Aid

When it comes to fees then you don't have to worry as it wholly Government funded institute. For a one-semester fee you have to pay 268 INR and 5000 inr other charges. Till now I don't have received any scholarships but there are many.

Campus Life

5

There used to be many fests in our college and when it CCA then there is a great aspect in this as you got represent your University on an international level. Recently 3 seniors went to Kuwait for their debate.

Hostel Facilities

5

If your from outside Delhi region then you don't have to worry about it as you will get hostel accommodation and then again you think you want pg then there are alot in vicinity of our campus. For the hostel, you have to report to the hostel allotment cell.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
