IIT Gandhinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

IIT gandhinagar have a body called CDS, that is, career development service. This body handles communication between students and companies and conveys about the opportunities students can apply for. Every year nearly 80% students get placed and remaining students opt for higher studies.

I had found interest in the engineering field and wanted to pursue it as a career path. IIT Gandhinagar has a decent faculty: student ratio of around 1:8. All the faculty members at IIT Gandhinagar are doctors and have done their degrees from well known instutes from all over the world. This they have very indulging method of teaching. Exam are conducted regularly and it's not tough toclear the exams.

Students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester for their undergraduate programs. Examples include: Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, TCS and many others. Highest and Average packages vary in different IITs. Companies offer a wide range of profiles, inlcluding software developement, data analysis, consulting, and more.

course curriculam is very nice and it is not hectic . I did this course because of my interest and this college is near to my home town. FAculty here are highly educated and have good knowledge in the subject exams are conducted by semester wise

The course curriculum is the most flexible here Major courses are electives but the curriculum is hectic for faculty and is average in few courses most amount of HSS courses are there overall IIT in India

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The top companies which offered jobs include Google, Amazon, HCL, IBM, etc. Around 90% of students who registered and were eligible for placements got placed. The highest package offered was 62LPA and the average package is around 16LPA. I plan to do my master's at one of the top universities in the USA.

Placements are decent at this college with about 70-80 per cent of students landing to job offers, the average salary is 16 LPA and the highest is around 60. industry leaders like google, and Microsoft visit the campus.

Around 80% of students got placed in my batch. The top recruiters include Goldman Sachs, HPCL, ITC, Adani, Infosys, KPIT, etc. The average package is around 21LPA. The highest package is 51LPA. The college makes us ready to face the industry through clubs, meets, and workshops.

We should not be sceptical of the college's placement offers. During the college placement drive, market leaders' companies visit the college campus. We have many options from various companies to choose from, with nearly 110+ companies participating in the placement. Deshaw, Google, ITC, JSW, Barclays, KMK Consulting, Ford, Mercedes India, Samsung, L&T, Oracle, and many other companies conduct company placement drives on our campus. The highest salary offer is 50 LPA, and the average earnings offer is 21 LPA.

Right from the first month into your last year of academic, you will come across placements from many companies. There will be many companies like Amazon Google etc will be coming to hire you but keep in mind you need to be prepared hard for those interviews and exams. The highest package of the college is around 45 lakhs.
