- There is scholarship provided by nirma based on parents income and merit giving 1 lakh rupees as scholarship.
- The faculties are well established in their domain and have a good knowledge about their respective fields and are keen for the development of the students
- Nirma university claims to give 100% placement as the corporate head is having good relationships with industry leaders and placement committee are also active for providing placement opportunities.
Dislikes
- Placement scenario because of recession, if iit is affected from recession, why not nirma, placements are fallen down to only 50 to 60% and that is also around 4 to 5 lpa
- The placements are still happening but either ctc on lower side with some students still unplaced .
- Truely speaking there is recession period going on where jobs are not easily available and so with college placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:
course curriculum is good. but in some subject syllabus is outdatted. it is of no use for real life implementation. as per my point of view in some subject they should focus in practical instead of theory.

- Large and green Campus- We have a large and green campus.We also have huge 3 canteens put of which most liked one is Law Canteen.Also there are 4 auditoriums and we have certain centre of excellence labs.
- Sports ground- we have all type of all sports playground including cricket badmintion volleyball football table tennis
- Facilites- Compared to government colleges of gujarat we have good faciities and hygiene.
Dislikes
- Faculty- Here the faculty are not at all friendly and will not teach the courses properly.Some faculty do mot even no basics even we know concepts betther than them.
- Non Ac Class- Here there are non ac class except auditoriums and labs.Even in the new building they have not installed ac.
- Parking Charges- 3 days back they have introduce new thing as parking charges if you are student and you are coming by car than you have to give 2000/- yearly parking fees.
Placement Experience:
Placement of my college for mechanical is 7.5 lpa avg placement ratio for all branches is approximately 93%. A total of 100 students opt for placement in my dept last year out of 160. The package in my college was highest in computer science company was google and 3 people got a package of 50lpa.
The highest package of mechanical dept was 14lpa.
Recuring companies:
Bosch Rexroth, Tata Motors, Tata power, Adani, reliance,ingersol rand, Jyoti cnc,waree renewables, amazon,mahindra, google, TCS.
My plan after degree is to get on-campus placement.
Because i have chosen this college over LDCE due to the placement reason only Moreover the placement as compared to other colleges in terms of avg package is good than other colleges od Gujarat and mechanical, civil and electrical are the best-known branches of Nirma University.
Also c2c lecture and subject is going on where how to talk in placement is being carried out and disciplines to be followed in placement going on.

- The campus of nirma university is very huge.
- The area provides a lot of greenery and open space.
- The university has different institutes which gives it diversity.
Dislikes
- The attendance criteria is very critical
- Students are majorly from less competitive mindset here.
- The college doesn't allow students from back gates.
Placement Experience:
The placements are quite good the students gets places here the placement rate is generally 90% and the placement cell is quite responsible and responsive too in there approach. I will try to get directly placed by college itself.

- There are many learning opportunities provided by the university across the year.
- The faculties are very supportive and are always ready to help without any hesitation.
- The curriculum is also set in a very systematic order to foster good learning.
Dislikes
- The college gives out a lot of load in terms of assignments.
Placement Experience:
For placements, our college has a dedicated cell named III Cell which manages all the placement work. Currently, the placement season is going on an till now 5 companies have been welcomed. They are taking their interviews and all the divisions have coordinators who help with a smooth interview process. The average package per company is of about Rs. 9 lakhs and the highest package offered is of about Rs. 35 lakhs. 95% of students are being placed every year. My plan after getting the degree is to go for masters.

- Our campus is really beautiful and its like filled with greenery all around.Now they even have their their own lotus pond and it adds to the beauty of it.Then apart from this , we have like three canteens and a medical emergency center.
- Our campus has multiple libraries which facilitates for 6-7 institutes in the same campus and the good part is you can have access to all the books in all these libraries even if you dont belong to that institute.
- Nirma has its own charm in Ahmedabad and Gujarat, people really do appreciate you if you state that you are from Nirma especially Nirma Law and Management is quite famous.
Dislikes
- So basically as I mentioned earlier there is a lot of greenery due to which dengue is quite common during the rainy season
- There is often water logging in rainy season
- Now they are on a plan of cutting trees in the campus and making it a concrete jungle.
Placement Experience:
Mostly students bag placements on their own and do not depend on the college to get placements. however, if you have a good CV then your chances of bagging a placement from college is high and mostly students from 4th year become eligible for placements.
My plans after getting the degree is to go into Judiciary and therefore I am not quite aware about the placement and other related aspects.

- Technical and non technical events are best
- College culture and educational systems is excellent

- Attendence criteria is not that good as it is 85%
- Groupism on the basis of status of people
- No boys hostel inside the campus for btech students
Placement Experience:
The placement of this college if you say initially then it is good , it provides something around 10-11 lacs on an average in the starting position after bachelor degree from this college and also there is a place co for students to get ease in placement process

- One of the major positives of nirma university is it's infrastructure and environment. The university has 105 acres of land with a separate building for each institute, and loads of greenery spread throughout.
- The university also has good facilities for sports which includes a cricket field, football ground, basketball court etc.
- Cultural activities are highly encouraged throughout the university, where each institute has its flagship event every year
Dislikes
- The new 15 floor building in which the BBA classes take place, have no air conditioning in the classes. The reason is that the building is still under construction.
- The drainage system of the university is very poor. Water clogging happens quite often during the monsoon season.
Placement Experience:
In the BBA+MBA course campus placements are offered after the MBA phase.
Major companies visit Nirma for placements, these include: Deloitte, KPMG, Infosys, Nestle, TCS, Wipro, ITC etc.
The highest package can go upto Rs. 25L CTC per annum, while the average package ranges between 8-12L CTC per annum.
Approximately 90% of the students get an offer through campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Personally, I like it more than cept's curriculum. You do need to have sketching skills before joining, and there is a lot of model-making, but you can learn it your way through. Also, you need to learn Autocad by yourself (extra classes). But this is the same in many other colleges in Gujarat

- The compulsions of choosing an elective allows and forces us to explore new courses other than the main domain
Dislikes
- 75% attendance is but of burden in some of the cases which is a big factor for some of the students
- Lab needs a bit of more equipments for professional research specifically for chemical engineering
Placement Experience:
The placement are above average as compared to the other 2 tier institute along with a competitive average package of 6-7 lacs in mechanical stream is good enough and almost 95% of students are placed in my batch.

- Great campus and facilities. The infrastructure and on-campus amenities are commendable.
- Diverse range of student clubs. There a host of cultural and technical clubs.
- Courses. There's a large variety of courses in both technical and non-technical fields offered by the university, which allows you to engage in inter-institute events and communities.
Dislikes
- The clubs are often too political to enjoy being a part of. This leads to certain toxicity within student groups.
- Although the alumni network is strong, it is difficult to connect and learn from your seniors directly.
- Events are very hit or miss, it depends heavily on the club, budget and interest of the university in promoting it.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I believe the course curriculum is relevant, but application-based learning is often a bit absent. We are made clear in our foundational concepts, but not taught the application of them. We learn DSA and how to code trees and queues, but not how to code data structures into software. So a lot of it comes down to self-study.
