GD Goenka University Gurgaon Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There are good placement opportunities offered by GD Goenka University but a maximum number of people opt for a master's or opt to start their own business few try for better packages from campus placement and the rest join the on-campus placement offerings.

In your last year you can go for placements and internship programmes. Mostly companies which come for placements are from the marketing and sales side. BYJU'S is the comapny which takes maximum number of students for placements. For placements you have to workd hard. If you have done enough coding and have enough knowledge about the coding language you have worked on then you can grab the placement easily.

From the last 4th sem students become eligible for on-campus placements. Apollo pharmacy, Medanta hospital, plus the company have visited the campus with good offers. The percentage of students getting placed is very low, only 7-8 students in my batch got placed through college. My plan after getting a degree is to open my own retail pharmacy shop.

I wanted to pursue pharmacy as I didn't able to qualified NEET exam, and didn't want to waste my one year, as there might be the possibility of not getting selected again. Faculty/ student ratio must be 30/200 students, faculty professors are qualified either PhD holders or masters, most of the teachers are good and have helping nature, they teach through their slides and mail us those slides on our mail ID'S, some teach in deep and some just do the briefing. The exams are conducted on basis of PCI guidelines, unit tests are conducted twice in a semester both practical and theory and main semester exams, Exams are mostly easy can be easily qualified as teachers give question banks to students prior to exams and from those questions, exam question paper is prepared.

From the 7th semester, the companies came for the placement company like hike, pharma based companies seeds marketing based companies etc average package they gave 10-20 lac per annum. My plan after my degree is to do MSc then PhD.

Second last semester placement gets started. All multinational company will come in campus like cipla abott Package starting is 4l - 7l 75% students get easily placed I m planning for a correspondence course after this study.

°3rd semester students can sit in the placements Opportunity °Byju's , Zomato , TGS , Genpact ect. °2.40 lakh to 8,9 lakh. °60% of students got the job by campus and 40% are still waiting. ° I will go for a job in the banking sector because I like to work in the Banking field.

The placements provided by the GD Goenka is really nice they have various good companies who came to the college campus for the campus interview and will give the placements to the students according to their academic performance and based on their personal interview round the eligible eligibility criteria for appearing in placements is 60% above and the students who are having backlogs they are not allowed to sit in the college campus until and unless they will clear their backlogs the various companies that provide placements in GD Goenka are Axis Bank HDFC Bank Medanta Fortis Artemis Pharma companies like Ranbaxy etc. The highest package that is given by the companies is 7 to 8 lacs per annum and the profiles they were offering to students were assistant manager HR manager and a permanent employee. my plan after my masters is to get a good job through campus placement in one of the known hospitals like Fortis Medanta Columbia Apollo etc.

From the third semester, students are eligible for the campus placements and lots of good companies come to campus for the selection process. Companies like Google, Microsoft, axis bank, nutrela, fortis, medanta, hdfc bank etc. Came for placements and they offered a really handsome stipend to the students. The highest package would be around 6-7 lakh per annum. Students with a good percentage above 60% are eligible for the placements. I would plan to do PhD after my masters or I would rather fetch a good job by getting campus placements in good hospitals and good pharma companies.
