Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

Information for those who wants to take admission in this college

Likes

It provides different opportunities to improve your personality.
You can represent your college by participating in many sports activities.
All students are very supportive to each other.

Dislikes

I don't like the infrastructure of my college
Many of the festival are not celebrated in our College
Mess food is not so much good sometimes it would be worst.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose B.Tech(Computer Engineering)Due to good placements record. Faculty that we got are not so much good. They don't worry if the student is studying or paying attention in the class. Exams are not so much hard, it is easy to pass.

Summary of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college have two mid terms and and one semester exam. Which have weightage around 15 to 20 and 50 respectively. Some times exams are difficult to score good marks and even to pass also. And schedule of exams is timely occurred and in well mannered.

Life at NIT Kurukshetra

Likes

A great campus life over here during the whole course
A lot no of friends are there who are very very smart and intelligent in their respective fields
Each and every facility is provided inside the campus

Dislikes

There should be more no of courses to be offered
Girls timing should be more than 8:30 so that boys will also remain outside their hostel
There should be ragging in the campus so that we can feel that we r actually in the clg

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester onwards students are eligible for placement, lots of companies like Google ,Amazon , Microsoft used to visit over here , highest package over here is 1.5 crores and lowest is 4.5 laks per annum , almost 80 percent of students get placed over here , I will prepare for UPSC after graduation

Pros and Cons of NIT KKR.

Likes

Good placement offers are provided by the companies.
There is greenery everywhere in the campus with proper flowers decoration.

Dislikes

Mess food is with average quality but mess fee is high.
No research facilities are available for the students.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester, the students become eligible for campus placements and also 8 CGPA is required to apply for placements. There are many huge companies that visit college for placements like Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Reliance, etc. And provided highest package of 64LPA and an Average package of 12LPA is offered to eligible students. The percentage of student who got placement differ from branch to branch.

A large scope of improvement to justify the tag of National institute of Importance

Likes

Very less restrictions for students and very cooperative seniors

Dislikes

Hostel rooms ,classrooms and absence of some necessary things
Like in many IIT'S and NIT's they have auditoriums but this college only has a OAT and jubilee hall which does not match the expectations that a student expects from a NIT
Recently a policy was changed according to which a on campus internships can be applied only in 4th year , Students should be allowed to apply for on campus internships in 3rd year atleast

Placement Experience:

-> Placements Stastics are good enough especially for the CSE,IT AND ECE .The average package of IT AND CSE is 20 lacs and median package is also quite good around 20 lacs -> Around 700 offers were made last time and placement rate overall was 76%

I like to the last green campus of NIT kurukshetra
I like the people over here. Haryanvi people here are so good

Dislikes

There is nothing much to dislike about NIT kurukshetra

Placement Experience:

Students eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester several companies including Amazon Microsoft Infosys TCS or visit our campus The average package of civil engineering is 8 lpa percentage of students getting placed in the civil branch is about 60%

Because my elder brother is in Kurukshetra University I chose the National Institute of Technology in Kurukshetra for my btech option and there are 100 children per teacher. After two months mid-semester exam happened

The bitter truth

Likes

Rooms are pretty much the thing I like about this college.
Placement opportunities are very much the reason why I came to this college in the first place.
The campus is beautiful, there's no doubt about thais

Dislikes

The wifi problem is the main issue and it's not getting solved.
Mess food must get better. The food is very much oily.
The location of this NIT is just straight up bad.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th semester as companies come into the college for 4th-year students. Highest package was 63 lakh and the average was 14 lakh this year. I think it's about 80 per cent of students getting placed.

Likes

I liked the campus life of this college.

Dislikes

Too much restriction on students, also lack of infrastructure.
Hostels are not provided with good internet facilities.

Placement Experience:

Overall it's a good college in terms of placement and infrastructure. Around 90% of students have been placed in the 2023 placement drive. The highest package offered in our NIT was from the ECE branch only around 65 Lacs and the minimum package was around 9 Lacs and the average lies around 18 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Qualcomm etc. Around 40% got internships in companies like Microsoft, Genpact etc.

JOURNEY TO NIT KKR

Likes

The greenery of the college the environment
The the library facility as the library is open 24/7
The computer lab which is open 12 o'clock

Dislikes

Very busy schedule of classes not get time for extra activities
75% attendance criteria of the college..
Some professors are very angry over students

Placement Experience:

The college tries to place a number of student in different companies but if it fails then the student on his own had to search for jobs from out of the campus every year many students apply out campus jobs
