JC Bose University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From semester 7 the students become eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies that have visited the campus are- Samsung, Josh, Maruti Suzuki, Cred to name a few. The percentage of students getting placed and the highest and lowest packages vary depending upon the branch. Our branch is relatively new and we'll get the placement statistics this year itself. The general trend for placements is, the computer branches have higher packages and have a higher number of students placed, then the Electronics branch, then Electrical, mechanical followed by Civil engineering.

The placements provided by college is good too. The college have a contact with multiple great companies like Amazon and Google also and provides good enough placement with a good enough salary for an undergraduate student. The college also provides placement for internship also during the course also which can be a paid internship also.The college have good enough ties with the other companies which are well known and that's a good part about the college.

placements are average .companies start visiting campus from the 7th sem onwards. Companies like Samsung, adobe and josh visit the campus. The highest package offered was 52 lakhs from cred and the average package is 5 lakhs.

I want to go into the banking sector that's why I choose this course, BFSI is a new course and I think it's interesting. At least 50 students are in the easy section of our course. Exams are held every semester plus University exams also.

Term exams are conducted on a half-yearly basis. Sessional exams are conducted 2 times, every semester means total of 4 times every year. The study is important to pass exams. Regular studying is required.

Placements are average, there is a training and placement office (TPO), which deals with placement and internship-related work, Samsung is a mass recruiter hiring about 50+ students in different rounds of its visit offering about 12-13 LPA, while there are other good companies like media.net, Flipkart, maruti suzuki , cognizant , JSW, etc.

The placements in college are average. If u r a student having good skills, u will definitely be placed. On campus companies provide an average 6-7 lpa. Popular companies come for on-campus placements like: Samsung, TCS,etc. Basically this college is famous for mechanical engineering. But the cs,it students also get average placements.

From 3rd year onwards students become eligible for the campus placement. Companies come on regular basis,but with less positions. Highest package for BBA is approx 4-5 lpa and average is 3-4 lpa. Around 30% students get placed. I am not sure about my plan after graduation.

For B.Tech IT, CS students placed drive is conducted but for another course, the placements chances are less or you can say that the placement chances are for BTech students and others have looked for off campus.

I choose the BSc physics course because of my interest. The faculties are quite good, they are also well qualified. some of them have a good strategy to teach some of them are not but mostly they have. Exams are held sometime on time sometime not. At this time my semester is of 3 months only soo.
