Hostel Facilities:

There are three types ofrooms which are provided in hostel singlets, doublets, triplets Singlets have one bed , one chair , one desk, 1 fan , 1 tube light and one bulb , one cupboard and one rack In doublets we have 2 beds 2 chairs 2 desks 2 tubelights , 4 cupborards of godrejs In triplets we have 3 beds 3 chair and desk as same as the single and doublets rooms The meal quality is supervised by the fssai team and menu was covered all the nutrients in the meal

Our hostel facility is very good , its provide good quality of mess food , badminton court, basketball court, clean washrooms , elevators etc. Price of rented accommodation near your campus is 4000 per month and there is pretty much option

For a relatively young university, it has well-built hostels, decent labs, a central library, sports grounds, and a campus that feels modern and organized.

All Hostels are not in very good condition but they try improve but it takes time because the many hostel are very old as amony 5 boys hostels 4 of them are made before 2010 and it long time so need some renovation.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.

The hostel provide all basic necessities including a single bed with almirah and study table for each student. There are 4 hostels in the University for boys named New Basohli, Nilgiri , Vindhyachal And trikuta kailash. But the bathroom quality is very poor and smells like rotten animals.

A decent goverment college with good infrastructure and location

Nothing much that i dislike the hostels are also decent
Mess food is just edible . Not to bad though

Room has a bed fan table chair lanport 2 charging port a. 16 amp port lights and wifi available. Meal is decent not too good not too bad Registration process.of the hostel is in campus for.1st year but online 2nd year onwards Can rent a pg or room outside college but it is hards and costs double the hostel charge is not worth it.

smvdu is the great institute

in smvdu various hostels are available with single room double room or triple room. i got accommodation in new basohli hostel with doublet room.it is the new hostel. 24 hr water supply internet 20mbps but one problem of electricity. some time it is cut for 4 to 6 hrs.

Hostel facilities and mess food is just amazing

Every m.sc student is provided with a single room. Each room consist of a chair , cupboard, almirah, a bed and a study table. There are 2 power plugs for charging your essentials. Meal consists of beakfast, Lunch and dinner and evening tea and snacks. . There is. 2 special dinners in every month.

Life in SMVDU

B.tech students get to live in new hostel in first year which is good but after that you get shifted to other hostels which have really bad conditions but the caretakers are good there except one other are good and not rude there is no much pg nearby but 1 which is for mediacal studensts but students dont live there normally only when they are suspended . Hostel registration are smooth not much difficulty if you go little late because in the beginning there is a lot of chaos . For meal I would only one word is worst. Room has one single bed one small wardrobe one table and chair with one light and fan also there is no connected bathroom in any hostel. So you can assume the condition how shared bathrooms could be.

I'd say average but location too good

Basohli hostel will be allotted to first years which I'll say , is good for u. It has rooms for 2 students , there are no single rooms in hostel. Mess is not something I'll recommend, but yeah, atleast food is edible. You can register through samarth portal online and fees is 20000 for a year, and 26000 for mess, total you have to pay 46000 for hostel facility.

HOSTEL IS WELL MAITAINED EQUIPPED WITH LIFTS, GOOD WASHROOMS AND OTHER FACILITIES THE MESS IS 6 ON THE SCALE OF 10 NUT THE ACCOMODATION IS 8 ON THE SCALE OF 10 AS THE ROOMS ARE OF GOOD SIZE AND WITH BASIC ESSENTIALS THINGS PRESENT
