University of Jammu Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible for the placements in the final year. The average package is usually 3-4LPA. It is mostly the IT firms or non-tech companies that visit the campus for placements. I got an offer from Infosys but instead, I opted to go further for a master's.

I choose this BA course because teachers were very good in their field and my interest is very much in this field In a single faculty-student ratio is 200 on 1 teacher All the professor are phd holders and very good in their teaching Our exams was continuously after every 4 months and pass percentage is approx 35

I am student of dde jammu University, I choose this course for some personal reasons, because I can't give proper time to regular classes.. good, intellectual and supportive faculty, all faculty members treat well with students . After 6 months terms exams were held

From 2nd last semester of their course, students become eligible for placements. College starts mock preparation in 2nd semester. The college has its platform to make students ready for placements such as Cocubes. Lots of companies visit campus such as Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, etc. lowest package- is 3.6 lakh per annum & highest package is 12 lakh per annum.

I chose this course just because I always wanted to be a teacher and B.Ed is the minimum criteria for applying for the post of a teacher. Teachers are well qualified and in great numbers, approx 20 teachers are there. Term exams start after 2-3 months as the session gets started.

I opted for this course to pursue my career in Hotel Management. The available staff is more than adequate for the number of students in the university. Teaching methods are traditional, with very rare use of smart classes or presentations, to conclude I would say that teachers are old school, and definitely should update their teaching methods. The difficulty of exams totally depends on students' capacity and capabilities of studying the subjects in depth, apart from what is being taught in classes.

From the Seventh to Eighth Semester Students are eligible for campus placements. Various companies from outside Jammu and Kashmir have visited. Various offers are made by companies My plans are for further studies.

I have chosen this course because I really enjoy solving maths problems and performing chemistry practicals. Also, the students aside from me are really helpful and kind. They are always seen gaining knowledge in or outside the class. Teachers are also well-known and easily deliver their message to the students. Teachers also give moral as well as curricular knowledge to the students. All the teachers are well qualified from famous institutes. Their teaching methods are easy to understand and grasping the meaning of their word is also easier due to their mode of communication and understanding between the teachers and students. The course is divided into 6 semesters. Each semester has five units and two exams Minor exams and Major exams. The minor exam is after the first month of the completion of the first unit. And the Major exam is taken after the completion of all five units. The whole syllabus is covered in the exams. Any student who has studied the whole syllabus can achieve a full score.

I have chosen the B Com Bachelor of commerce course for three years after which I a get a graduate degree Faculty members are enough for the students in every subject to have their own professional teacher. Teachers are highly qualified in their subjects and teachings. Exams were after every six months with strict checking

I choose this course because I had a hold on science. Faculty is the good Well maintained infrastructure is also good. The student Ratio is about 31:1. All faculty members are well-educated having great teaching experience. They are b. Ed Msc Ph.D. holders. They teach us in a gentle way and make students understand easily. Our terms didn't start.
