An honest review

Likes

The college is fine as per the course charges but they still need to do some improvement in terms of extra activities and sports categories there are very less sports in college for bca students leaving extra activities everything is fine..
The campus if nice its good the college offers many courses.. there are many places to hangout with your friends and socialize the teachers and staffs are good and the environment feels good too much better than i exppected
The college offers many facilities such as labs your own desktop and even a library with your own pcs the campus also has free wifi with internet access so no worries

Dislikes

The teachers don't follow the class routine and that can be a pain
Very less extra activities such as functions and others
Very less opportunities for internships and placement

Placement Experience:

The college don't offer many placements and internships.. The internships are only there if you're a straght A+ student.. The highest package was around 9 lakhs The average package is 3-4 lakhs which is quite less as per the course The percentage of students getting placed are 20% My plan is to do MCA after completing my course

All about St. Xavier's college Ranchi

Likes

The faculties of the college are very nice. They have great knowledge. The laboratories have all the essential equipments for all the course experiments to be conducted. Every classroom is having a smart board which helps in effective learning.
I mostly spend my time in classrooms and laboratories because of classes. In my free time I chill with my friends in college canteen and game room.
The faculties are very knowledgeable and experienced. The central library is big and have high quality content books.

Dislikes

College campus is a bit small. We can't get personal space to chill out with friends

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the session started late so we have less time to complete the syllabus but it will be fixed after one semester. Teachers don't go very fast in order to complete the syllabus they focus on that the students are understanding the lectures delivered. The frequency of exam is ok 2 in one semester. Difficulty of exam is moderate to hard

Sports and cultural activities are doing good in our collage. It has big hall like 1000 studens can sit easily.
Collage canteen was good what you want everything is there, and one common service center is there if you have any problem just go to common service center and your problem will be solved like scholaship admission etc.
Sometimes didn't bunk the classes. Because there is no proper attendence.

Dislikes

Collage campum was small for students. Because it is only one collage in our area so number of students are very big.
Very much amount of studens are there so. There is no proper education like 100 students for one teacher.
Teachers didn't take proper classes. Sometimes they came late and sometime they didn't came so the syllabus was incomplet in bsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In science department there is no proper classes so the syllabus was incomplet. There was six semester so students have to study by self and write the exam. But in arts department they have proper classes. They got better marks then science students. Because there syllabus was completed. But in science syllabus was incompelet and the paper was much difficult. Because students have study by self.

Likes

The Infrastructure of college is very gorgeous .
The teaching quality is very good as compare ti the colleges present in Ranchi other than xaviers .
There are all facilities which student need like bid washrooms ,library ,ground,oarking ,canteen etc.

Dislikes

Since its a good college so there is huge crowd beacuse of this.
Some teachers are very supportive and little teachers are not supportive i believe all should be supportive enough to all students whether its a strong or weak student
I don't like to get interrupted every time by guard in college gate ,they check id even if you are in college dress so do bring your ids otherwise they will not allow

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course basically gives you indepth knowledge of accounts taxation law economics financial management cost accounting auditing so if you are going for any finace course its will act as an added benefit for you.

Faculties are very supportive and always encourage you
College campus is quite huge and environment is also nice
Students per table for dissection is also good.. Like 45 student in one table... And such 6 tables

Dislikes

In case for girls, hostel facilities are not that good
Hostel security issues for boys. Like there are less cameras in college campus
Some outsiders near college intrude into college campus

Course curriculum is very broad as you all know its mbbs and its not a joke.. So syllabus is quite huge and and very volatile but yes with the faculties and seniors interaction, you can easily crack these things

One of the best College in Ranchi

Teaching faculty in college are too good in this fee range
Classroom are too big so all the students get the seat .
Placement cell are very supportive and placement percentage of college is also too good.

Dislikes

Infrastructure are not too good college have old bulidings and infrastructure.
Some teachers are not good in teaching faculty alo college don't have elective paper teacher in B.sc IT.
Campus are too small and not active too many students union.

Placement Experience:

Semester 4h students are eligible for campus placement. TCS , WIPRO ACCENTURE and too many companies are visited college and minimum 60 to 70% percent student get placed. 60 to 70% percent student get placed. If i get the jod from campus placement and self then i perscue job with higher education, if i doesn't get the campus placement then i prepare for central and NIT college entrance test .

All college faculty members are helping all students.
Computer lab is available in this college

In 4th semester all students are eligible for campus placement There are many companies visit our college like Tech Mahindra , WIPRO,TCS,and many companies Approx 60 to 80 percent students are placed in our college

True Fact about Doranda college Ranchi.

Likes

I like bsc it classroom its too good also smart board available and clean.
Arts commerce infrastructure better then science department.
We have a teacher which have experience more than 30+ and even come from Iit Madras and give education in that kind of level.

Dislikes

Science department infrastructure not too good its need to improve
Ciricular activity happen less means program and functions happens less.
Its not give good placement what you get is inly skills not placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Bsc it because i want to be an AI researcher after bsc it i will do Msc in ai and ml and after the i will clear gate exam and do mtech in ai and ml and then even in India i will get high pay but in foreign i will get more than high. And here teachers are fantastic no issue on any teacher they even make you learn practical and all. After learning all you find exam easy.

I like the teaching methods which taught by our professors. As a history professor they commonly use maps, slides,etc. ratio of my class boys are only 40% and girls are 60% in my morning batch. history department teacher are very helpful.
Professors always encourage us. And help us to improve our personality.
Campus of st. Xavier's college Ranchi is very clean.

Dislikes

Fees of master course is very high for students who is coming from middle class .
History department should introduce placement for history student.
Cafeteria should decrease there price they are very high as per quality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose history because I have interest in knowing history. Day by day teaching methods of history department are getting more and more advance. Professors are very clear with there subject that's why the teach us very easily and we adopt it very fast.

the standard academic structure may not be suitable for every student
students may not have enough money to enjoy the freedom of college
students who feel they have unfair workloads or grading practices may experience a negative impact on their academic performance
