Likes

The faculty is good, it's a mix of friendly and strict.
Yes we can apply for the scholarships then we can get money firm the single scholarships which are helpful for students.
You will get average 6 lacs per annum easily and the campus is providing very good placements and their support very nice and then prove it good skills to learn it's very good.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is bad because lot of members will there in room and mess quality is poor, registration of hostel is easy and most of the student can get hostel with poor facilities and poor msintainence
Mess facility is not good. they always use bad quality of products to make our foods.
The faculties are of average standard and the administration is also not that good

Review of Central University of Karnataka

Likes

The infrastructure in the department is very good.
Facility to interact with students of various states gives a good exposure.
The behavior of the faculties towards the students are very good

Dislikes

Playground is not good for practice sports. It needs improvement.
Interference of political party is very high in some cases.
Some infrastructure are not working and need proper management.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered by the university. From 4th sem the students are eligible for campus placement. Several companies visited university for campus placement which includes BHEL , Azim Premji etc.

Likes

The exposure in the campus is very commendable and good for our personal development.
The infrastructure in the class rooms are well maintained and of top quality.
The faculties are highly qualified and recognised throughout India.

Dislikes

Some of the infrastructure is damaged and not properly maintained.
Outside the campus life is very less to none.
Accessibility to town is harder as it is 20 km away from the campus.

Placement Experience:

There are placement cell working in the university. From the third semester only we're eligible for placements. But the placement companies prefer those who have completed the third semester. Companies like BHEL and institutions like Azim Premji contacts the department for placements and all. Mainly 10 percentage of students gets placed through campus placement and others are having opportunities through other ways. Around 85percentage of students who completed MSW course are employed. My plan is to crack the NET exam and apply for assistant professor job also looking for a job as HR manager.

CUK means heaven.

Likes

The nature and wheather is beautiful, the locations to visit are adorable
Supportive faculties and the seniors to feel comfortable
Fair evaluation in the internals and exams

Dislikes

Hostel food now a days is little bit not good
Not much travel facilities in the campus to go to classes and hostels
Verity of food is included but cooking way is different

Placement Experience:

At the last semester or last year students will be eligible for the campus placements. Ajim premji and Avanti are the top recruitment companies at CUK. Highest package is based on ones talent in interview. Lowest package will 4.5lpa. A good percent of students are getting placed. My plan is to go for higher education or government job.

Realities of my Campus life

Likes

Talking about the things I liked in my college,the first thing is the surroundings and the sky.This college is very much eco friendly and less polluted.
Almost all the facilities like bank,post office,shops,canteens and hotels etc are available inside the university itself.Also the library of our university is also good.The syllubus of our course is more of competitive exams oriented.
The classrooms are well developed having centralised AC,smartboard,fans,company chair and tables etc.Our department's lab is also having advanced microscopes.We are also having highly qualified facilities.

Dislikes

Some of the faculties are lazy in taking class, hence fails to cover the whole syllubus.Excluding the placement which are suggested by our faculties,placement cells are not that active.
There is a lack of hygiene and maintenance in our department's washroom and also the quality of mess food decreases day by day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of our course is very good. It is mainly gate/net/jam-oriented. I was influenced by my interest in this subject(geology) and the syllabus. According to my opinion, More presentations and projects can be included in our curriculum, as this curriculum mainly gives importance to written/essay exams. Almost 75% of marks are given through exams..that should be avoided and also MCQs should be given instead of essay questions for a better understanding of the subject and practice for the competitive exams

Pros and cons of Hindustan aviation academy

Likes

Course is pretty good because of good job opportunity
College give training under indigo which is really fascinating
Faculties are pretty good and experienced. Most of them are retired from air force

Dislikes

College doesn't have a ground and doesn't include any extra curricular activities
College canteen is small and there will be always shortage of food during lunch
Study hours are more it's starts by 8:30 and end by 4:15. Lunch break start from 12:30 to 1:15

Placement Experience:

You have to complete 4th sem in order to get eligible for campus placement. AMTTP MRO in singapore, indigo and air india done campus placements. The highest package was 8.4 LPA and average package for freshers will be 2.4 LPA

Central university of karnataka honest review

Likes

I like campus infrastructure. Environment is very good. Weather is best in monsoon but tolerable in summer.
Smart classrooms and highly qualified faculties, giving their best for our development.
Curriculum in courses are designed in very efficient manner, it brings out best of us.

Dislikes

Hostel accommodation system is not fair, many persons are struggling to eat mess food, not upto mark.
Due to presence of university in remote location, all the city facilities (which are available instantly) cannot be avail.
Lack of effort by administration for extra curricular activities and not giving very much effort for campus development.

Placement Experience:

After completing our course we become eligible for placement. Main companies here TCS, deloitte and some local companies, there are lots of opportunities for teaching position. Highest package was 12 LPA to a MBA student. Median package is 3-4 LPA but not 100% placement. Around 30% students are getting campus placement, 30-40% students opts for higher studies, lots of student are in good universities after passing from here, for either research work or higher studies.

Likes

They are providing a good academic environment and the teachers are well qualified and experienced.
Well experienced staff's and supporting to complete the entire task in a given time
I could improve my language by interacting with my students who were from the other States and also by the presentations i improved my confidence level.

Dislikes

The area that university is located is very rural and if we have any medical issues we need to go very far
Sometimes the teachers were judgemental.
The placement opportunities are less. And the skill development trainings are also less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a MSW (Master of social work) student. I took this course because I'm very passionate to do something for the society. I have the undergraduation from the same course itself. This university molded me to take the appropriate decisions and enhanced the skills in problem solving which is very essential for a social work. If they are including more field work opportunities and internship opportunities, it will be very much help for the future.

My personal experience

Likes

The campus is very large and amazing. It is not green but you can see a lot of dry lands
The students are also very good and you can see different diversities in this campus
The sky and the rain at 2 very much attractive things in this campus

Dislikes

The faculties are of average standard and the administration is also not that good
Field work exposure is also not given as much as we want
Proper guidance and support and also placement is not given

Course Curriculum Overview:

Social work is a course which is having great relevance and nowadays people are selecting this course for shifting to foreign countries. This course is a great opportunity for people wants to migrate to outside countries. And here there is three specialisations named HR,SD and medical and psychiatry

A brief description about the university

Likes

Faculties are very much dedicated and determined. Teaching methods are really good. Campus is good. We will get chance to interact
Department and hostel. Medical facilities and canteen were average. Open jim facilities are available. Electric van and bus transportation
Library is available. Comparing to other universities it is situated in a rural area.

Dislikes

Medical facilities and canteen facilities should be improved. The mess food is a problem and needs a change.
They can arrange more extra curricular activities for the development of the students
Increasing the time of library accessibility

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course will provide field works compared to other subjects. We will get a chance to interfere with the people and society. Social work is not only a profession. It is also a service towards the society. Now the academic curriculum is upgrading. The curriculum needs to include more technology related areas. Examination will be held according to the academic calender

My honest College review of Central University of Karnataka

In central university of Karnataka every week we can enjoy the fest of different departments.

Dislikes

I don't like the food as they most of the time serve south Indian food like itali , dhosa and sambhar but I am north indian that's why I don't like .
I don't like the management system of the university bcz somewhere they are not spending the funded money on the university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing b.tech in ECE so the course curriculum is based on the industry level but I think they need to update the syllabus according to coming future industry. Being an ECE engineer I am learning also learning coding and many more for the requirements of the industry. In 1st and 3rd semester i learnt c, c++ and python. Theses are the main subject of these semester.
