paid 3L via 12 emiS for IIITB data science course via Upgrad. Great faculty and content , covered sql, python, power bi . No scholarships. Placement support was limited but learing was strong. the acedemic experince was excellent . the faculty was knowledgeable, and teh curriculum was industry relevant . We gained hands on experince with tools . However teh placement support was bit dissapointing. There were career resources like resumes review, mock interview and job portal acces, actual job leads or interview oppourtunities were limited.

IIIT-B A HUB OF INNOVATION AND EXPERIENCE

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tution fees for BT-CSE is :- Rs.2,30,000(Year 1 and 2) , Rs.2,76,000(Year 3 and 4) totalling it for the duration fo 4 years it is 20 lakhs 20 thousands approx,The hostel residential program is compulsory for all the students and the hostel fees is Rs. 40000 per semester and mess food and catering cost for per semester is 28,800. They also provide you with medical insurance of 2000 yearly and we need to give some depsoits as library and caution deposit which equals roughly around 19000 which is refundable . There is no reservation policies(like SC/ST) here so there is no different fees structure for any student of BT-CSE.The college provides Utkarsh scholarship in which for the top 5 ranker in jee mains under CRL 999 will get 100% fee waiver in tution fees. We also have a dean's list scholarship (in which a specific set of students having CGPA 3.6+/4 are enlisted in this and depending on the availibality of funds a certain percentage of stduents are awarded a scholarship of Rs 50,000 per year.

I'm currently studying 1st year I have paid 3.18L in 1st semester and tuition fee is around 21lakhs for 8 semesters caution fee around 15k there is no reservation in our college. It's only MERIT based. Avg package is around 25lakhs. Great internship and reasearch opportunities.

In the first and second year worrkload is high, although those works are very rewarding eventually.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The year-wise fees I will be paying is 4 lakh rupees. As there is no reservation there are no separate fees for each category. The Tuition fee is around 1.75 lakhs per semester, so the total is around 3.45 lakhs. for a complete year. The caution fee is 5000 per year. There are no separate fees for registration, lab and development, all of those are included in the tuition fee.

I like the curriculum of the course in college.

Fees and Financial Aid:

It was on the expensive side for middle class people to afford than any other normal college would have had as it was 3,00,000 ( Three LAKH ) for just one year but the campus and curriculum makes up for it.

IITB's fee structure includes tuition and service fees, with periodic hikes of 5 to 10 %. Scholarship include merit based, need based and industry sponspored . campus jobs also offer stipends upto 15000/month

If I am interested in Programming should I choose ECE at IIIT Allahabad or IIIT Bangalore, if yes which one should I prefer IIIT A or B? (Of course I am not getting CSE in good college)

Here is some information to assist you in choice-making-

IIT Dhanbad Mechanical is the best option among the three. This college has a rich legacy and a strong brand value. Apart from that, it offers good placements with brands like Tata visiting the campus for recruitment purposes.

But if you have an interest in Electrical, you can opt for IIT Tirupati. Unlike before, the college is now functioning from its permanent campus. The permanent campus is destined to house 12,500 students. It is under construction in phases, but it already houses 1500+ students at present.

Therefore, IIT Dhanbad Mechanical is the best choice. But if Electrical interests you, opt for IIT Tirupati Electrical.

How good is the Machine Learning course at IIIT Bangalore?

The Machine Learning course by Upgrad and IIIT Bangalore extensively covers ML and AI. All the necessary topics, from Basic Mathematics and statistics to Deep Learning and Graphical Models, are included in this course.

It isn’t a certificate program, rather you’ll earn a PG diploma. Unlike other MOOCs, this course demands serious effort from participants. It is a year-long rigorous course. Mathematics, SQL, and Python are well-taught to lay a strong foundation. The professors are well-experienced, and frequent live sessions are conducted for doubt-solving.

Assignments are topic-relevant, and their submissions are taken seriously. The TAs are supportive. You’ll be assigned a mentor to help you with non-academic queries/issues. Frequent sessions are held with industry experts to equip students with information on the latest developments in the field.

The assignment timeline is very rigid, and modules are released only on Sundays. So working professionals may suffer some inconvenience with this course.

The iMTech course at IIIT Bangalore is quite challenging and rigorous. The students are evaluated weekly through tests and assignments. They hardly get any free time. However, students joining this course are aware of the right and still are committed to hard work.

A friend who joined the recent batch shared her experience. The first quiz took place just 12 days from the orientation after which quizzes were scheduled for every week. She had to go through strict deadlines for completion of 50% of Python and C in just 2 weeks.

The college has a very rigorous academic ambiance helping students to become punctual and learn time management. Some energetic souls despite their busy schedules, spare time for sports, competitions, hackathons, fests, and other fun activities.
