Talking about my university, faculties are the best , they are very friendly , accademically its good ,
Every year tuition fee increase due to the course value and all the scholarships are available at oru university best college to join for medical field courses and all other course are available at our university
The college campus is very clean very good herbal garden good opd setups and good number of patients

Dislikes

Some times the hostel food in college is very bad to eat
Programs are very less in this college and this is one of the worst thing in this college
There is no much leave here so it was difficult to go hometown.i dont like it.

Very good ambienence and peaceful atmosphere
Very big library with all the books required
Spacious campus with big soccer ground gym

Dislikes

Cleaniness in the zulekha hostel is poor
Street light is not working the area near by hostel
Hostel foods are not that food,no proper nutrition

Course Curriculum Overview:

I suggest more of the clinical side need to be implemented than theory class.Teaching areas can be improved more by adding more interesting videos and fun method of teaching.i suggest for the shifting of ent and ophthal to 3rd year from final year

The college campus is amazing and to be much appreciated since medical college usually does not have a huge campus area. All the students are present for interactions even from outside karnataka.
Campus consists of newer technologies and better infrastructure for the students better teaching facilities. There is mentors and mentees each student for checking their progress and development in their studies.

Dislikes

Cultural activities and sports are only present once a year. Just like a deemed college holidays will be very much less compared to other colleges.
Boys and girls are separated during each functions and programmes. Barricades are put up in each programmes to separate students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching methods are perfect for a doctor. A good exposure towards the patients are able to get. The exam timings are great and level is of medium which makes us study harder. Sometimes all students does not get enough attention, but mostly gets through

The campus is beautiful. It is a very student friendly environment. Unlike the other colleges with boring buildings and plain grounds, our campus is surrounded with lush greenery and a beautiful soccer ground.
The faculty is well experienced and professional. We have amazing doctors from all over India
The patient inflow is amazing. It is the best place to learn a variety of clinical cases

Dislikes

The hostel maintenance fee is a little high. Every month it goes higher than expected
The record books purchased from the college are very expensive
Hostel curfew timing for girls and boys and very different

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed for the 2021 batch is the CBME curriculum. This is more of a student orientated curriculum. It helps us in real world applications and for further academic pursuits The exams are yearly final exams along with 3 internal assessments throughout the year.

The campus is very spacious and environmental friendly
The faculties are very encouraging and involves different methodology of teaching giving us maximum clinical exposure
The hostel is very comfortable and gives us homely feel

Dislikes

Curfew timing is very strict for girls . I would like to extend the timing
Cafeteria is increasing price of snacks every year
There is nothing to tell wrong about the college

We are cbme batch hence we follow specific methodology of learning . We have clinical exposure daily and can directly mingle with patient talk and examine them as well . We have library to go study and various amenities like simulation lab

Hostel is very comfortable very good environment 3 sharing rooms with airconditioning. Food and all are good with good bathrooms and toilets which is separate in a room and 3 separate beds study table etc
College environment is also very good nature friendly campus . Campus also provide extra curiccular activities like cultural festival sports and several others it also provide ragging free campus with good learning environments
In hospital patient exposure for learning is great . Faculties ate very friendly and they teaches very well both clinics and theory part . Good hygiene is all over maintained in campus college hostel and hospital

Dislikes

Hostel curfew timings are early for girls till 6:30pm and for boys it is 8:30 pm wgich i feel like its early. Food during Saturdays are bad .except that every thing is kind of good and nice . Nothing much to dislike
Nothing as such . Holidays are less so can’t go to hometown regularly
Attendance are taken through biometrics and college is very strict about it .Even in case of any accidents they can’t help

Curriculum is student friendly.talking about the exams we will be having 3 internal assessments and one university exam. Average of 3 internals are required to qualify writing university exams along with attendance that is 75%for theory subjects and 80% for practical subjects

Yenepoya University: Beyond the Brochure

The teaching environment was excellent, the classes were so good .
We had a really nice principal at our time , he was very supportive.
There were many programs throughout the year ,which felt really good.

Dislikes

Sometimes there were situations of lacking faculties in our department.
The hod were changed three times during our study times

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this course because of the lab facilities that they proposed to us , and they fulfilled to an extent.There were adequate mock tests along with two internal exams and a semester exams. There were retests for those who cannot appear for the previous exams.I think the improvement should be in areas were there must be more practical sessions, and real time sessions.

We have best football ground basketball and badminton court
We have mentor mentee program in which students are alloted to different proffessors

Strength of class is 250. This is too much. It has been started from our batch that is 2023

My experiences in my college

Likes

I liked almost everything about college,
The academic structure, the college atmosphere and surroundings
Quality and reputed faculty, and the facilities they privide

Dislikes

College timing i didnt like, 8 to 4 pm it could be started from 9 am
Curfew time for girls is too early , 6:30 for girls and 9 for boys
Library is only till 12am at night, it should be extended to 2 am atleast during exam time

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is designed wonderfully, being a budding doctor helps to improve our both our knowledge and skill which is very essential to live in this society. Teaching methods and tome table is good it always motivates us yo learn more and makes the course more inetersting by adding certain activities to it apart from strictly learning.

My honest opinion about Yenepoya dental college

Likes

The faculty and teaching staff is very regular
Very systemic type of education with accurate time table for your daily classes
Exam conducted is very strict hence helps us to study and build our courier

Dislikes

They do not aid with any kind of scholarship if you have financial issues
The laboratory part of the college needs to be improved
The hospital needs to be maintained clean with atmost hygiene environment

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to take up dentistry because of how much it teaches us with art and science It gives us a broad idea on how to face any issues in the outside world and prepares us from day one to be a better dentist out there There are no such improvements required overall they do a brilliant job Eveything has been scheduled very perfectly and gives us enough time to get prepared for ours exam
