The festivals that are conducted by our college are really amazing we played and enjoyed a lot.
The professors are well qualified and are very helpful and friendly towards students.
There has to be a clear and good admission process.

Dislikes

Infrastructure, this college is only having limited games and all for 4yrs we will get bored over here
The faculty do provide a better educational system but the way they teach the students lack effectiveness.
Term exams are conducted every 6 months it is a little bit difficult to pass.

Poor teaching methods and limited class time. The main problem i found is the limited availability of classes. This is when exams of different semesters clash and no class rooms are left fpr academic classes. This is one of the things i disliked.....
Charging over money. Month by month the management the respective departments charge extra money. For example, they say they have to buy new benches so they charge money from students, after all its a govt institutions. That is the another this coll

Likes

The teachers of very well experienced and friendly
The institution directly functions under the Kerala University
The fee structure and the scholarship programs provided by the government is so helpful for the financially backward students

Dislikes

The placements they advertise on the brochure are so not sure and promising.
The exam fees are comparatively higher when compared with the other PG courses of the university
The exam and the result management is so poor and time consuming.

The curriculum and the teaching methods are not so new but the internship and the project that I have done into different companies help with me a lot in choosing my career. We can choose a wide variety of specialisation that helps us to diversify our career options.

Another phase of life

Likes

The college had a good facility like proper building ,good lab facilities,advanced equipment etc
Students are friendly and there is no ragging
Staff are too good that they support us in every means

Dislikes

The way to the college is quite not good
Transportation facility is too poor .we have to walk daily for 3,4km
The administration board is not good .They don’t provide the good in programs

My course has a vast chance of job chances in the future as it includes a various variety of subjects like foods chemistry marketing etc.Job chances are much in good industries,drug industries etc and exams are conducted every 6 months

Faculties are very friendly and cooperative.
Good lab facilities for all departments to do practicals.
All courses are accredited by national board of accreditation.It is very useful for students going for higher education.

Dislikes

Small infrastructure and limited space in campus.
There is no ground for practicing games like football and others.
Bad conditions of road facilities inside campus.

Placement Experience:

There is a dedicated career guidance and placement cell functioning in the college and bringing companies for placement drives.From las year onwards placements are open to students.Many major companies visit our college like cognizant,ust,ey etc.Most of the companies are it companies.The average CTC provided is about 4 to 5 lakhs.I prefer to get a job through the placement drive.

Being a government college, students have complete freedom inside the campus.
Faculties are very supportive in academics.
College facilities are accessible until night time.

Dislikes

No ground for conducting sports activities.
Management support is not good. Students have to address all problems on their own.
Extracurricular activities are not very active.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from seventh semester for all departments. Companies hire students especially from IT and EC departments. Core companies are rare and IT companies which are service based are the mass recruiters in our college.

The first positive thing is the college gave a important outlook to Sports.There is a physical education department and a vast ground.Games such as Football,volleyball,softball,athletics,tug of war,badminton,archery etc available for both girl & boy
Another positive is Availability of National cadet corps (NCC) There is two battalion 1K and 3K . 1k is only for girls and 3 k for boys and girls.
Next is National service scheme (NSS) .It also active in our college

Dislikes

Infrastructure is too bad.the college class rooms are not clean regularly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Bsc psychology for my career.Behind this selection of college i prioritize because of colleges teaching method.They provide a understandable class.But some teachers didnt bother the students but some are good

The faculites seems to be dedicated in teaching students
The college is currently in innovation for bringing new facilities
The hospital has cases and provides good quality treatment there is enough patients as compared to other private medical colleges

Dislikes

A lot away from Thiruvananthapuram city so has to travel a little tough nearest town or city
No much public transport availability near college
The girls to boys ratio very small in some batches

The course is a very serious and a little hard we have to keep up everyday studies so as to achieve the goal. Daily learning is a very important aspect incase of mbbs curriculum. Once we take the path we have to be a life long learner

The hostel messas is really good providing both vegetarian and non vegetarian food with snacks
The playground attached to the college is good and spacious where people can play football cricket volleyball badminton
The college campus is really spacious and the distance between college and hostel is barely 5 min of walking distance

Dislikes

There is restriction .you have to get in by 9 pm
The cleaning staffs are lazy .so sometimes washrooms arent cleaned properly
The library doesnt allow you to take any materials out and also dont allow to take your own books inside

The curriculum is comprehensive and very vast .it needs constant and daily learning to go through it and pass the exams .some subjects like anatomy and biochemistry can become tough where you have to cram the things .

Our college has all the facilities for lab and all.
Environment around the college and inside the college were the best.
Teachers were experienced and they clear doubt if any any.

The curriculum prepares every student's for real world applications through workshop course,lab etc.They use real world examples teaching each and every technology which was very helpful.There were two exams every year and the level of exam was moderate.

Was college a right choice for me?

Likes

One of the things that I like about my college is 2 teachers
Another thing that I would like to mention is the chicken biriyani in the canteen
Lastly I wanna mention was the trip I had with my classmates from the college

Dislikes

The fact of matter or the issue i had with the college is it didn't had enough campus space
Another fact of the matter that i utterly disagreed on was the structural integrity of the building along with the bathroom
This one is kinda personal, not having enough balance of girl classmate caused the class room to be dired out.

I would want to dive deep into why is chose the subject, i can give a small framework, I didn't get admission in colleges because of low mark and tried almost 5-6 college prior especially for computer science, finally got into this college, they first promised computer science but later said the seats are filled and that college was my last option, and the sad look on my mom's face didn't make me think twice I had to choose whatever course they had and ended up in electronics. Lot of suggestions for improvements, one is a good community to study together to tackle hard portions I'n certain subjects, especially a community for people with supply to pass that exam.
