Entertainments provided in the campus is quite good, provides relaxation in this stressfull period
Faculty members are very good behaviour and experienced .they are intract with students very well.so easily teach portions.also doing works and assignments easily because of the way of study.very good work and sincere members.
The course fee is25380 per year .there is many scholarship available for financial support like mcm e grand .

Dislikes

I dont like some teachers who always come to scrollevery one and bad at teaching
We are staying at the oldest hostel here.the facilities provided are very poor and talking about food it is okayish.we are staying 6 members in a room with limited facilities to stdy and all.
All trees in the campus were cut ,that is cause very much trouble

College life in Mount Zion

Likes

Really good atmosphere and environment to hang out
Delicious Food services in cafe at affordable rates
Extra curricular activities in between studies

Dislikes

Really poor mess food quality which is not fresh
Too much restrictions in girls hostel including time
Water quality is bad and in shortage most of the time

Course Curriculum Overview:

Admission is secured via neet ug scores. Total course duaration is 5 and 1/2 years. Out of which 1 year is for internship (housurgeoncy). After which we can work as medical practitioners. This course is achieved through hardwork and determination

College is situated near NH and kollam.So accessibility is good.Town is not so far from college which makes everything easy. Railway station is just 7 km distant from here. Pathways and roads inside college is so pathetic and needs improvement .
Boys and girls need to enter the hostel within 6.00 pm evening which so hard and limits the college life. Management isn't supportive for social interaction.
Bad infrastructure and ground. No trees inside campus. Lecture halls are not air conditioned.

Dislikes

University rules too overwhelming especially attendance and all. So much studyload makes everything difficult.
Rules are too strict. Campus is not so good.

Mbbs is a five year course which includes one year of intership. Exams are relatively very tough and stressful. The clinical exposure helps in real world applications of what we learn. Four years of degree provides four year end exams.

My life in the campus

Likes

Campus is big with lots of area for taking long walks.
Faculties are friendly and supportive in terms of academics.

The curriculum is acknowledged world wide as kerala university of health and sciences hold a position among healthcare. Since we are mostly dealing with clinical aspects from second year, application level studies are done to a major level. Patients ratio is comparatively high being a major factor for our choice

The college environment is so peace full and leisure
Good faculties and clinical cases in general medicine department
Anatomy department has good cadaveric specimens

Dislikes

There is long distance between college and hospital
Obstetrics and gynaecology department has poor facilities
Facilities in surgey department is not adequate for better studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is not much based on clinical practice. It is more theory oriented. That reduces the clinical skill of the students. The university exam is little bit difficult compared to other universities. Frequency of sessional exams is satisfactory

Govt Ayurveda College Thripunithura

Likes

The Out patient and in patient availability helps for master the clinical skills and exposure.
The faculties are very free to talk and available
The ground facility for playing football is sufficient and the environment and surroundings are very cool and calm

Dislikes

The size of the class room is small and congested
During summer the availability of water is reduced

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is helping and moulding the ayurveda doctors for the society. The subject will be tough during the beginning due to the sanskrit language and later it will become easy to understand and remember the shloka. The difficulty level of the exams is range from moderate to hard.

There are only postings in 3rd and 4th year for 2 month only . Physiotherapy is a course where more hospital familiarity is needed and the students should get experience only through clinical practice .

Wonderful campus with good infrastructure and excellent patient flow with all high quality laboratory diagnostics and excellent faculties and doctors
Promotes sports with great enthusiasm, encourages to participate in all inter university events , and hosts events at the college itself , has alot of sports courts in the campus including badminton , volleyball, basketball, football
Considers academics really important as exams are conducted regularly , faculties are retired government professors and other highly qualified teachers , attendance is strictly maintained and strict actions taken against those who do not follow

Dislikes

Cultural events are not promoted much, only freshers day and graduation is the main event here , the fun and vibe in this college is created by the batch and not entirely by the number of cultural events here.
The hostel facility is very old although they clean it regularly , could use some renovation work

The curriculum offers intensive clinical training along with theory classes of about 4 hours per day. Teaching is only spoonfed in the first year , rest is mostly self directed learning. Difficulty level: Hard as there is exams regularly with strict marking and correction

Staffs and academically good which is a good thing
Easily accessible college not in a remote area
Friendly atmosphere which is good thing i like

Ego characters of teachers is not good st all
They target us often and make us pay more
It is very expensive course someone from middile class its very difficult

Specifically i like the internal exans which helps us to cover our portions before uni as an improvement i suggest to remove the additional and year back policy insted bring the supply for subjects u have failed

The faculty are very supportive to the student's
We are able to see a lot of patients in the college
There are many programmes in the college like arts amd sports fest

Dislikes

There are very less campus space for the students
Internship stipend is less than government college

There are many role play and seminar to increase our knowledge and relationship to the patients.this will help to create rapport with the patient.there are some area of improvement required like reduce writing assignments

I really love the college because of the college ambience and senory.
I love the sports activities and arts programs in campus. very friendly faculties and students.
The best learning process are provide and best faculty members are providing best method for studing very well

Dislikes

They do not conduct any programs and entertainment. college atmosphere is not very well.
Very strict and congested class sections. Vacations days are very less .
College vibes are very boring like a private college. They started uniform for students.

I repeated for neet but I didn't got admission for any of that course .so I decided to take this as course because as this is a medical course and not very much stressed this course.some teaching methods want need improvement.the University exam is conducted after 6 months. The faculties are good.They hold PhD and doctorates.Their teaching is also fabulous.
