The practical sessions of the courses are the most effective way to implement and integrate the theoretical knowledge accumulated in the classes. The hospital trainings and ward rounds are the best tools to cultivate and condition the personnel to be ready for the medical world.

The course docter of pharmacy provides insights into the use of modern medicine and therapeutics. After completing pharmd you can work as a clinical pharmacist and help docters design thier treatment regimon that provides maximum benefits to patients and is cost effective. This influenced my decision to choose this course. But for real world applications the preparation provided but the curriculum is not upto the marks. Yet the college manages to provide as clinical postings in hospital which helps to improve patient student interactions and real world conditions. I find the course still needs improvement in improving the application level skills of the students. Since the academic schedule is planned yearly the frequency and timing of exams is not too hectic. Yet there is a lot of topics to be covered in a short time. The timing in between two exams is short.

The college is known for its hospital. Its situated in a good area of town. This course is a developing course hence was new to me. The curriculum system is mainly based on improving theoretical knowledge and gives less importance in practical knowledge gain. But the course is practically useful in hospitals as it is a very important in patient counselling. Doctors diagnose the patient whereas it is the clinical pharmacist who shoild prescribr and give patient counselling about the medicine to the patient or by-stander. Hence academically the curriculum supports students by providing hospital trainings during 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th year and internship. Improvement can be done in the examination system by not making student study just for the exams and implement practical gain of knowledge. Teaching methods can be for student freindly and interactive instead of just showing slideshows which are done most of the time. Exams are conducted according to an academic calender hiven ecmvery year for that particilar year. Usually 3 sessionals are written in every 2 to 3 months. Questions for the exam are of all kinds ranging from simple to application level.

Overall the course i choosed is very useful for future also we have lots of struggles in the study time But it is ok wr get a bright future We have many opportunities Also we can take msc nursing To teaches

So what influenced me to choose this course was it's diversity. After your course you have a lot of opportunities. The curriculum is good that it takes us through every part of the world applications. The first two years you are not learning medicines but chemistry and knowledge of our body and its actions. We feels like the exams are coming as if we get peanuts from snickers.

I saw lots of scopes for this course during my admission period,but there were not such scopes in our country In other countries have lots of scopes and huge salary There will be lots of improvement must should taken in course carriculum and teaching methods According to our college teaching methods are good but they havent done our placements and internships. We have total 5 exams per year including model,internals,and university exams

I randomly take this course, but this course is very useless feeling because fully saturated in hospitals no jobs available.. too much to study more than nursing and university syllabus is very hard . But after this no job and dignity to profession

Ayurveda is also very important part of medical field. It brings a lot of treatment aspects and life style betterment. There are practical significance of all the knowledge into life. Hospitals here is very much well equipped and doctors are skillful so it's very good platform for learning to treat the disease and at the same time learning for prevention of disease. Some of the portions should be re evaluate. They should not make shloka compulsory and eliminate some old theories which are not going to accept. Should combined with modern medicine and teach a hybrid model or Intregate course.

Exams like 1st and second internal assessments and model exams are conducted before the university exams. Teaching methods of some staff is to be improved. Sometimes it is felt that theoretical knowledge is of not much use in the clinical scenario.

The course is long. It will take 4.5 years to complete the course and an internship duration of one year. The course covers all the basic topics and clinic procedures that you require to face the real-world scenario.
