Hostel Facilities:

Facilities provided in the room are lan, 2 table, 2 chairs, 2 beds, lights and etc. There are clean bathrooms in hostels and also have geasers. Meal quality is descent. Hostel is very much affordable comparr to rented rooms.

THERE ARE SOME NEWLY HOSTELS AND SOME OLD HOSTELS WHICH WERE CONSTRUCTED DURING THE 19's .THE NEW ONE ARE GOOD YOU WILL GET A DOUBLE SHARING ROOM WHICH IS GOOD . THE WASHROOMS ARE ALSO GOOD YOU WILL GET WATER 24/7 THE WASHROOMS ARE CLEANED ONCE IN A DAY OR TWO DAY.

Hostel Facilities:

The Hostel is good Ok Ok, Some rooms are small as compared to living space of 2 people but still building is well maintained. There are regular supply of water, electricity. The quality of food provided is also great seeing the price for it is served is appreciatable.

MANIT, Bhopal hostels are well- maintained with furnished rooms , study tables, beds and wi-fi. mess fodd is good offering indian vegeterian meals with a changing menu. Hostel fee yearly around 18000-20000. For off campus Pgs or rented rooms areas like Arera /colony or DB city mall are popular , affordable and safe providing convenience to college and city amenities.

Hostel facility I would say are decent enough we get 2 seater rooms in the first year of the college generally and hostel for girls are very good having gym area and all other things within the hostel itself

Likes

Campus nightlife is also great. We also have night canteen in our hostels which is open overnight.

Dislikes

I also didn't found hostel management good.

Hostel Facilities:

Facilities provided in the rooms include 24×7 electricity and internet. The mess provides good food which is nutritional and healthy. We have a fixed menu according to which food is prepared in the mess.

Our hostel 12 is best hostel you can say of manit. In a room 2 person share it. Having 2 cupboards and we have a common washroom block wise. Mess is quite good enough space is there. We also have vending machine in all hostel. So some packed items are available like chocolate, froti, chips and kurkure

Dislikes

I don't like the ragging environment, as we are restricted to go outside the hostels due to ragging.

Hostel Facilities:

In our hostel, rooms are 2 seater in 1st year. We have got 2 chairs, 2 beds, 1 almirah, 2 tables. The meal quality is good, but not very good. Hostel fees is 20500 per semester and 27500 per year for mess.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel facilities at MANIT Bhopal is nice. I personally love my hostel (girls hostel 12) as it has nice rooms, elevator, corridors. But the mess food is definitely not up to the mark so it is better to keep expectations low for good food

Ther are 2 wardens in every hostel one is main warden and other is assistant warden , one care taker 2 guards with 3 shift per day in every hostel. For mess students are creating the menu so meal will be according to students only .

Here is some information regarding the boys hostel for M.Tech students at MANIT-

From 2018 batch onwards, M.Tech boys are allotted rooms in the P.G. Hostel 11 (Appu Bhawan). This building is newly constructed, and contains single seater rooms. Each room has an attached balcony.

It is a logical decision to provide single seater rooms for M.Tech students, as one needs privacy at such a high level.

The M.Tech boys hostel at MANIT Bhopal is really good.

How are the boys hostels alloted for freshers at MANIT Bhopal?

As a fresher at MANIT Bhopal, I am eligible to answer this question.

First-year boys get Hostel 10 at MANIT. After you submit your fees during the counseling, they'll ask whether you need the hostel or not. On saying yes, they'll point you to two members of the hostel authority. These people will ask for a photocopy of your ID and fee receipt. After submitting the mess fee for the first two months, you’ll have to go to Hostel 10 for the room allotment process.

The warden office is where these allotments take place. They'll ask for a photocopy of your ID and fee receipt. After this, they'll assign you the room and give you a mess card. Freshers get blocks C and D. Each block has 4 floors, and each floor has 32 rooms. The rooms are two-seater, but due to lack of accommodation, three students share a single room. The rooms (except those on the ground floor) have a balcony each and are decent.

This is the entire procedure for the allotment of hostels for fresher boys at MANIT Bhopal.

As a B.Tech fresher at MANIT Bhopal, you’ll be allotted Hostel 10. Here are the pros and cons of this hostel-

Location- The classes for freshers are held in NTB (new teaching block). NTB is 1.5 kilometers away from H-10, so you’ll have to walk around 6-7 kilometers daily. Cycling is the best way to travel from H-10 to NTB, and back.

Availability of basic necessities- The student corporate store inside the hostel will meet most of your necessities.

Mess- The mess serves decent and well balanced meals. But you’ll soon get bored of the mess food, and begin to dislike it.

Sports facilities- Both the blocks have a table tennis room. The hostel has badminton and volleyball courts inside it. You can play cricket in the hostel compound.

Internet facilities- The entire hostel is equipped with wifi connectivity. The internet speed depends upon your room, but normally it is 1 mbps. LAN facility is not available in the hostel.

Network- Jio signals are quite weak, but Airtel works fine.

Washrooms- Each floor has two sets of washrooms. Geysers aren’t installed in the bathrooms, so you’ll have to bring your own immersion rod (it is not allowed, but no checking takes place).

TV room- The hostel has a tv room, but it is hardly used by anyone.

Security- H-10 is heavily guarded by security guards. In the first 2-3 months, the security is exceptionally tight. So you need not worry about ragging.

Rooms- The rooms are in good condition. They were built for two occupants. But because of lack of accommodation, each one is shared by three students.

Overall, the first year hostel is quite decent. You’ll enjoy your stay at Hostel 10 of MANIT Bhopal.

I will describe my experience of hostel 10, through which you’ll get an idea of the hostels at MANIT Bhopal-

B.Tech freshers are allotted Hostel 10 at MANIT. The hostel is divided into four blocks- A,B,C and D. Each block has 32 dorm rooms, two washroom complexes, two water coolers, an internal courtyard, a mess hall, two common rooms, a guest house, and a T.T. room.

The freshers stay in blocks C and D, and blocks A and B are given to senior B.Tech students. Block C and D are isolated and fenced from the other two blocks. All the rooms are well maintained and in good condition. Due to a shortage of rooms, three students share a single room, instead of two.

The hostel wifi gives decent connectivity. If lucky, you’ll have access to good wifi speed in your hostel room, otherwise, you’ll have to manage with your own internet connection. There is no LAN connectivity in the hostel at present. You can use electrical appliances as no checking takes place. If you get a back facing room in C block, you’ll have access to a serene balcony view. The common rooms are used for DJ nights, Ganesh Chaturthi, etc. We also play holi on the premises. The night view from the rooftop is mesmerizing.

Overall, the hostels at MANIT Bhopal are spacious and well maintained.

How are the hostels at MANIT Bhopal?

All basic facility in the room is available like fan, light, table, chair, washing machine etc. Indoor games facility is also available in hostel. Hostel food menu is decent and sometime serve nice food but many of time food quality is bad. Registtration process in hostel is easy and less time consuming. Everyone can accomodation in hostel. For rental room and pg best place is Kamal Nagar, Nehru nagar.
