NMIMS Mumbai: Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 4 Reviews

The course spans four years and is divided into eight semesters with two semesters each year, including mid-term and final exams. The faculty is generally supportive, approachable, and effective, with a system for providing feedback on teaching quality. Although new faculty members are sometimes hired, which may affect teaching consistency, the overall teaching experience is positive. The college offers good placement opportunities after graduation, supported by an internship committee that helps students find internships in various settings, such as hospitals and special schools.

However, many internships, especially in psychology, are unpaid, and direct placement opportunities at the bachelor's level are limited. The annual fee for the 2023-2026 batch is structured as follows: tuition fees are 1,10,000 rupees, security deposit is 5,000 rupees, library deposit is 1,000 rupees, laboratory deposit is 1,000 rupees, development fees are 25,000 rupees, and other fees total 58,000 rupees. This amounts to 2,00,000 rupees per year, with an additional 7,000 rupee security deposit in the first year, totaling 2,07,000 rupees for the first year.

The overall cost for the entire course is 8,00,000 rupees. Financial aid and scholarships are not reported to be available, and the fees may slightly increase for future batches.
