I liked how the faculty taught the subjects in a well defined manner
The campus life here is very enjoyable, you make friends easily.
Dislikes
I disliked the mess food in the hostel, they could improve their quality
I also don't like the fact that we have to make journals for our practicals which is time taking and not needed
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course which I have taken is electronics and telecommunication which is considered to be the toughest course . I took this course as I wanted a balance between my coding journey and also due to my love in electronics . Although the course is easier to understand, there are few courses which are outdated and can be updated with the current situations and scenario. Sometimes I feel that the time given to study for exams is less but again it's on the student and how he / she pays attention.
When I entered the college everything was transparent
The infrastructure they provide is good and they also give subscription to some softwares
The faculty was well trained and the teaching methods were great
Dislikes
The campus is a bit small like only one building for SIT
Sometimes the teacher student bond is not there
The annual fest might happen might not happen
Placement Experience:
Campus placement is from fourth year and their are quite a huge number of companies which come here and startups too come cause it's too good for student and about 99 percent student get placed who are. Eligible for it
Beautiful campus , necessary labs are there, teachers are friendly
Dislikes
Management is not that good, delays in announcing result
Placement Experience:
As far as I know, placements are good. This year the highest placements were recorded in branches like CSE,AIML. Placements start from 7th sem , there is a placement cell in college which manages to bring companies in college. The highest placement this year was around 40 lakhs , and the average stood at around 8 lakhs. According the college's statistics , the placement percentage is 100%. I will most probably take the college placement
Infrastructure, various facilities such as library, computer room, balcony, smart boards, etc
Campus has a juice centre, Gym, canteen, studio, Kinara store, Xerox machine and ATM
College life is fun with amazing fests, events and active clubs.
Dislikes
Too much competition but giving corporate exposure experience
Sometimes it was difficult to manage various things at once such as studies and college life
Expensive area but beautiful views of the sky and accessibility to many things
Placement Experience:
- Campus placements starts in the final/third year of college
- Companies such as TresVista, KPMG, PWC, Delliotte, Zomato, Swiggy, Zara etc. come and the average package is Rs. 5 LPA
- Highest package was Rs. 8 LPA and lowest was Rs. 3.5 LPA
- 90% of the students gets placed
- I plan on pursuing CFA after college.
The curriculum structure is always updated with new and current topics
Rated as number 1 college for bachelor of computer application
The faculty and management are really great and helpful
Dislikes
The infrastructure and the size of classrooms needs to be improved
There should be no parking fees charged inside the campus premises for students coming on their own vehicles
The food of canteen is not up to the mark.
Placement Experience:
The student is eligible for placements from the third year and 5th semester.
The companies visited in our campus includes HCL, HP, Accenture, Deloitte, DE Shaw, Zomato, TCS and many more.
The highest package offered to a student is 22 Lakh p.a and the average package was approx 4 to 5 lakh.
Almost every student gets placed on-campus.
Great Faculties and there approachability in the campus
SYMBHAV- an annual college fest filled with fun and intellectual games.
Quite competitive environment, challenges you to be at par with others.
Dislikes
Expensive especially if you are from a middle or lower class background
Placement Experience:
From 4th Year of the college the student is eligible for a pre-placement offer, main placements happen in the Final year i,e. 5th year. Companies that hire majorly are Tier-1 and Tier-2 law firms, like AZB, Khaitan&Co. Average package goes to about 15-16LPA. My plan is not fixed yet, but I aim to pursue SEBI or RBI law officer exam.
Like the campus is in outer area from main city of pune
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is very good like all things going very smoothly but at the time of the exam again struggle phase comes into the picture. They is no area of improvement all facilities are doing the best to teach us
The faculty is very qualified and one of the best subject experts.
The faculty is very keen in developing their student's careers.
The management and staff are all very good. No problems or worries will be faced in the teaching and non teachig aspects
Dislikes
The campus is new and students need to work hard for internships and placements for the time being. If you're hardworking, things will be easier.
Course Curriculum Overview:
All the students are given electives to choose and we also have the compulsory courses too, common for all. The electives could be chosen based on varied interests of students and are very engaging. The compulsory courses are chosen and kept very wisely and are essential for computer science and engineering students.
The courses and evaluation plans are very well created and curated for students to be able to solve real world problems too later in professional and personal lives.
There aren't much suggestions and areas to improve as of now.
Exams and tests are conducted almost every two weeks. This keeps the students keen on learning and practicing all the while and doesn't let them slag in between the semester. The exams are monitored from the headquarters at Pune, and hence all is kept under check and maintained.
Food , hostel, library facilities it offers fresh morden infrastructure in developing educational hub with smaller class sizes
Industry exposure offers seminar, tech talks, workshop to most trending technology
Dislikes
Considering facts like no college is perfect but in terms of cost it has higher tuition fees compared to public colleges. This could be a financial burden on student's family.
Scholarship opportunities by SIT are too limited, you can increase your chances of finding financial aid to help manage the cost
Course Curriculum Overview:
There's usually a core curriculum which is compulsory for 1st and 2nd year but from 3rd year you get specialization and elective courses within your CSE branch.
Project based learning is promoted on high scale for developing hands on experience to solve practical problems.
I personally feel there should be a stronger partnership with relevant companies to provide internship.
I know technical skills are crucial but incorporating soft skills like communication, personality development, teamwork need to be in areas of improvement.
Talking about the frequency of exams SIT follows semester pattern strictly, exams are held after every 5 months i.e twice a year and 1 month leave after 2semesters completion for internship.
Educated and experienced faculty from various govt colleges like AFMC and BJMC
Safe environment, especially for girls. Freedom to focus on ourselves.
Cut off is great which means the student quality is amazing
Dislikes
Co curricular activities aren't promoted
Patient load is moderate and is 800 bedded hospital
6 day classes. No half days. Only leave is on sunday
Course Curriculum Overview:
The colllege strictly follows NMC guidelines and makes sure the syllabus and college hours are up to mark. The examinations are frequent and we have post end exams every month after the rotation of the posting gets done.
