SIU Pune Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course curriculum is vast and gives extensive coverage of general MBA topics as well as for analytics. Most of the faculties are guest faculties and reputed people from the business side, so they have real-time knowledge of the industry. Student to faculty ratio is less since there are lesser students in this course compared to other courses. Exams are moderate to difficult and are held twice each year. However, assignments and other small exams can be held anytime.

The placement scenario is good. One gets placed at companies like Deloitte, Cisco, Mahindra, Abbott with an average package of around 18-19 lakh. The highest package goes up to 24-25 lakhs. Campus Placements occur at the end of the 4th semester.

The placement scenario at SIBM is great. Companies like Cisco, Intel, Mahindra, ITC, Asian Paints, visit campus and offer an average of 22-23 lakhs. the highest can go upto your capability and usually placements are a lot of luck.

For campus placements, we had companies visiting the campus from the 5th trimester. Various top MNCs and international companies visit the campus like Ericsson, EY, Deloitte, etc. The college guarantees placement of more than 95%. The highest package was around Rs. 25 lakh/annum.

For placements, students need not worry. SIBM holds a record of 100% placements. There is 100% placements both in summer and final. The maximum package was 35 lakhs per anum. The average package was 21 lakhs per anum. Various top companies like ITC, Reliance, L&T, Godrej, etc visit the campus every year offering placements to students.

The palcement is good. Along with final placements, people get pre placement offers as well. Around minimum 25% pre-placement offers are given while you are summer interning. The highest CTC goes upto 28-29 lakhs.

For final placements, students before eligible after the 5th trimester. The highest package last year went as high as 35.5 lakh/annum and the median package was around Rs.20 lakh per annum. More than 95% of students got placed.

SIBM, Pune takes placement of its students very seriously. From the 2nd trimester, we had companies visiting us for internships. More than 95% of students have got internships. We had both MNCs as well as growing startups visiting our campus. The highest package offered last year was around Rs. 36 lakh/annum.

Summer placements will take place between August and September. Many internship programs eventually lead to job offers. Both summer and final assignments are available on campus. SCMHRD has a placement rate of 100 percent. Last year's final placements at our college averaged 16.5 LPA, with the highest being 32 LPA. Last summer, 115 organizations came to campus to recruit 180 students, with the average placement being 1.7 lakhs for two months and the highest being 3.2 lakhs for two months. ITC, Microsoft, VI, Dell, Accenture, EY, and many other Fortune 500 corporations are among the companies who visit our campus for placement.

In 2020, SIBM saw some of its best placements, as it does every year. The students received 191 offers, including 63 pre-placement offers. The sectors that participated in the placements were FMCG/FMCD, Conglomerates, BFSI, Technology, and Consulting. Rs.28 LPA was the highest CTC. Abbott India Limited, Asian Paints Limited, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., Dell, EMC, and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd. were among the companies that took part.
