As is required for all Symbiosis colleges, I gave the SNAP test. Prepared for about 2 weeks prior to the exam as I was working then, I remember getting a score of about 108 which was reasonably good at the time. Choose SIIB as they were the only Symbi college then offering a course in Energy & Environment and they accepted a work ex of 2yrs+.
Good location of the college is very good, close to nature - one would always feel like staying at a hill station bad management has lot of scope for improvement.
College being under the ambit of Symbiosis is fully committed to the welfare of the students both personally and professionally. I do not have a single negative thing to say about the institute, the faculty and the general infrastructure.
Its a good thing if u get PGDBA degree by seating at home without going anywhere so its a value addition which i think is a good thing that they provide distance learning in a good way.
College Management was fully trained and professional in their work also personal attention was given to the students in all fronts and outstation students were given personal attention as well.
I have had a wonderful experience, with loads of learning, new friends etc. There were issues around placements and managements handling them but eventually it turned out fine for a lot of the classmates one way or the other.
I took SNAP entrance exam and scored 84%.I opted for SIMS because of it's fees which is much lower than other institutes in this category. Also, placements are at par.
