Mumbai University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible for campus placements in the start of 6th sem. Top recruiting companies for placements were- Deliotte,axis bank,KPMG,TCS etc. Highest PACK-7LPA Average Pack-4-7lpa 50-60%of students get placed. Planning to clear my cma exams and opt for a master's degree in finance.

In the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements, and you should not have any backlogs in any semesters, quite a good number of comapnies visited the college, most of my friends are placed right now and are earning good money. highest package would be around 5 lpa or 6 lpa. around half of the students got placed. i completed my degree and opted for masters and i am currently pursuing my masters.

as of now I am in my first year so I can't give the exact info on that but mithibai does offer great placement opportunity and it is mandatory from 2nd year to doban internship which j personally think is great as it adds up to my CV

The curriculum is design by University of Mumbai, so it's standardized across the region. covers core subjects like programming, networking,database data structure, and emerging tech like cloud and AI(in final years) However some content feel outdated as syllabus updates are slow and may not pace with current industry tools and trend (e.g., DevOps, latest framework, agile methodologies.

In the third year our TNP department starts gearing and unwinding us for placements. Infosys, Siemens, BEL and Cochin Shipyard which all operates in Mumbai are the ones who can be termed our long term associates of the college.

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.

If you're talking about the course, which i am completing is Engineering in IT, which basically is somewhat difficulty doing in india as of the other countries, as it just focuses on the different subjects, which is not the actual cause of completing the course, people spend their 4 years completing the course and honestly 75% of people get a back year and do it all again

Percentage wise i think half the students dont even apply for placements and from the half that apply, i think 60% students get placements. Sadly yes, but percentage is less but the kind of companies that come and placements that we get is next level. At Mithibai, one has to follow the instructions of placement cell and this is all to get placements guaranteed. From mutual funds like Kotak, HDFC and Icici many stock broking firms like Kotak Securities, Share Khan and SMC Global Securities among others have paved way to get us placements in the things that we have studied in our B.Com.

so there are many curriculum organized for students that help students to prepare themselves for the real industry . so i suggest that they have to take students on field of the industry that they are going to job in future .the exam timing is usually is in the early morning the timing is 7 to 10 am . the difficulties is not really problematic for students to appear for exams
