Likes

The teaching faculty is excellent. they are expert and have a very good knowledge about the topics.
Scholarship will be soon arranged for the students who achieves by giving a test and is eligible for scholarship.it is important to be able to provide scholarship for althose who are in need .they need to be helped .
Students will absolutely enjoy their campus life as there are various fests, different days are celebrated and the campus itself is very beautiful to enjoy.

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty member of these college, also the hod is a liar.
The admission process was not that difficult but the website was very bad to handle...
Big line for paying fees, fees structure, no online payment available for many colleges

Reality of PES Modern college of engineering

Likes

The college facult is very good, supportive, and awsome teachers with years of experience.
the location of the college is best , it is at the main area of pune at shivaji nagar.
The non teaching staff and office staff is also very cooperative and friendly.

Dislikes

college conducts very less events as compare to other familear colleges.
less extra curicullar activities , and sports.

Placement Experience:

In our college students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year, The companies like tech mahendra, infosis, Pwc, tcs etc are the companies which hire the students from our college. the highest packege of our college was 27 lpa which was few years ago but it was a off campus offer, and 12 lpa highest package on campus, the avrg package can be expect 6lpa.

The infrastructure of the building was fantastic. I liked it the most. The cleanliness in the college is well maintained, and the laboratories and classrooms are neat and clean.
The faculties in the first-year engineering department are highly qualified. I am impressed by their soft skills, such as communication skills, and the way they approach students is very good. I like their teaching methods the most because they cover
The college is known for a high placement ratio. Almost 90% of students get placed till their fourth year.

Dislikes

The weirdest thing about this college is that the campus does not provide any well-developed playgrounds to develop outdoor game skills, and the parking facility for students is also not good.
Massive construction work is going on in this college, which creates a lot of disturbance in classrooms. Also the building is very tall, which causes a lack of time to travel from the ground floor to the top floor as lifts are not always available.
There is a massive crowd of students due to the over-intake in branches like Computer Science Engineering and related branches,as compared to their ratio campus is not big .

Placement Experience:

The placements offered by my college are outstanding compared to other colleges in my area. Almost all students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. Big tech companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and IBM visit the campus for recruitment. Major tech companies such as TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini hire in bulk from this college. Other non-tech companies like JCB, Tata Hitachi, and railway companies also visit the campus for core branches. Approximately 90% of students get placed in this college according to their skills. My plan after completing my degree is to get a job in a top company like Google, Microsoft, IBM, or NVIDIA and settle abroad with a luxurious life permanently.

Faculties are helpful for studies, curricular activities and providing different case studies

Placement Experience:

Placement of this college going well and steady beacuse of regular mock PI and GD starting from the semester -1 as after that they have to go winter internship and after semester-2 they go summer internship with this experience it help them to achieve their final placement and if they do not achieve they go for regular mocks and getting feedbacks.

Campus is safe,disciplined, clean and positivity.

Limited extracurricular activities compared to expectations.

Sometimes administrative processes are slow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes the real projects which helps learn more practically.It would be better to have more site and industrial visit and expert session to learn better.The exams are not so difficult to score.

PESMCOE a real view of college.

Likes

College has a big and specious library, we have access to the all library. there is departmentwise library also .
The infrastructure of the college is good and college is having 4 floors.
There is a special Parking bulding built for parking vehicles.

Dislikes

College is having very less campus as compared to other colleges.
College is not having a nice ground for playing.
College is having college in 2 shifts morning and evening .Evening shift is boring.

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are good . They are incerasing year by year . As now college is made autonomous placement is also good in the college. Companies like TCS , CAPEGEMINI, like such big companies are also coming to college . as such college have developed the placement ratio . the higest package offered in the college was last year it was 18 lakhs . average pacakages offered in the college is betweeen 3 to 7 lakhs . but the students are geeting placed from college. Near about 70 to 80 percentage of the students are getting placed every year.

Placement in my college are pretty good and placement percentage is also very high, placement percentage in my branch AI&ds is 100 percentage in last year and for tech branches it is 90+ in all. People get places easily

Having many company visit but being mass recruiters they offer low starting salary .
As a first year student I don't know so much

Decent Classrooms and Students IT lab for science students Labs
CLEANLINESS in whole college worker pays full attention for cleaning and strictly
Classrooms are big for students are 100-120 in per class

Dislikes

Teachers Coordination is poor in the college
Working of security staff is also poor everytime they kickout students from parking

Mainly i didn't hear about any placements mostly but I know that placements are given from last semister which is 3 semister i heard highest is 500000 rs per yearly package more are there but I have heard that much and 80-92% students gets placements my plans after meeting degree is not decided but planning

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

What is your review of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)?

Saikat Das,studied at Savitribai Phule Pune University (2020)

One of my friends recently graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). According to her, it is better to do anything rather than joining this institute. She mentioned some of the reasons that made her feel this way.

The institute only focuses on making money and not actual education.
The syllabus and curriculum followed by the institute are outdated.
Practical training is not properly given, making students lag behind the industry demands.
Basic things like a proper academic calendar are not provided.
Re-evaluation is time-consuming and usually not done properly.
A 60% from SPPU is not considered good enough for admission to other colleges. They do not consider it as first class.
They are known to have the worst and uncooperative staff members. They are not at all helpful or considerate about any problem.

It is suggested that you do not opt for SPPU as they are highly unprofessional. They do not have a proper way to conduct classes, assemblies, extracurricular activities and get involved in everything half-heartedly. SPPU is a good example of how a university should be not.
