My college life

Likes

I liked the Teachers faculty of the college as they understand the environment of the students
The college is in a lineant location available for everyone
The college fulfills the demand of the students.

Dislikes

The fees and extra educational expenses is very much
No proper organisation or events as the college lacks in proper organisation and utilisation of time
Apart from educational opportunities the college la ks in various parts

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in society and sociology foundation of the living being and so I chose this course. They prepare the students for future reference and understanding of the outside world properly. Yes the college needs improvement and updates in using technology devi8for teaching

A review on DGC

Likes

The environment is quite fresh and good.It is surrounded by trees and is a good place to hang out during breaks.
The faculties here are experienced people. They are selected through competitive exams and so ther is no doubt about their qualification.
The campus is surrounded with shops from where we can buy for our needs.

Dislikes

Some classrooms are small and congested .
The library is mostly filled with books of the old course.
Wifi is not accessible though it says 24/7 wifi in the prospectus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is flexible and as per the new FYGUP it has become student friendly . Exams are conducted in a fair manner . But there is need for improvement in the timing to completely the syllabus .

Likes

The faculties,they are all qualified and very experienced.
The environment, full of trees and fresh air.
There are opportunities for both academic and extracurricular excellence.

Dislikes

The classrooms, some rooms are small and it is quite hard to adjust all students in a room.
The Library, mostly books of only old courses are available.
Sometimes there are too many seminars made compulsory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is quite flexible , with the new FYGUP is has become very flexible for the students to follow up with . The manner in which the test and exams are conducted, it is very good , the gap between these is very flexible for the students to be able to do well.

Likes

Faculties, as they are all qualified and they teach nicely
Classroom, because we take our class in the new block which is quite clean.
Classmates because they are all competitive

Dislikes

Union fund raise eg selling coupons,calendar etc
College mates because it becomes really hard to communicate with all
Library no acquired and good books for new course

My college course curriculum appears to be well-structured and comprehensive, offering undergraduate programs in Arts and Commerce with various specializations. The college has a Curriculum Committee that ensures the relevance and effectiveness of its courses .

Likes

I like the environment and the people are so kind
And I enjoy the activities and curriculum
I like how the teacher treads the students

Dislikes

I don't the canteen and like every Saturday doing social work
facilities and the structure of the classroom are a bit
And I don't like taking up the class till 3:30

The timing of exams are just fine the time which we seat for 3hours is just fine and I choose this course because I was interested in it and the teaching methods are okay with me I i understand the explanation n I can learn n understand

Likes

The professors, environmental, canteen and food
The food they provide is healthy and tasty
The environment is clean and maintained very well

Dislikes

I don't like the bathroom because it is not clean
Sometimes there is no water in the toilet
The classrooms are very old and is scary

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose political science because I was so fond of my class 12 political science teacher. He taught us so well that political science became interesting for me. The first exam was for 1 hour and the second will be for 3 hours

The environment of my college is quite good

Professors are highly qualified.Their teachings and explanations are on point
The fees are quite affordable, especially for the Middle class people.
The students aren't pressured.The principal actually cares for the students.

Dislikes

Poor classroom facilities.Hanging ceilings,fans that don't work, dirty classrooms etc.
Sanitary issues.Especially in the bathroom.
Science and commerce block have better facilities, including classrooms and bathroom,even their compund.Whereas art block has poor facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I've said before,the curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is quite satisfactory.I don't understand much of your questions, please use easier words next time even though I'm in college now. From what I've understood from your question,I only joined this course because I didn't have any other option in my mind.Honestly I don't know what to do next. I think our professors only focus on teaching what is there in the syllabus rather than focusing on what might come in the future.As much as their teachings are good,they only care about teaching according to the amount of their salary.Also some professors have horrible vocal skills,some are either too slow or soft spoken,not all of us can go and sit in the first bench right?Some area of improvements can be if the teachers were more enthusiastic and excited to teach rather than just coming and doing their job. Our syllabus are always completed before our exams so we get enough time to study.

Social interaction between teachers and students are very excellent
Teaching methods are quite simple and excellent
Tobacco free zone and environment friendly and its surrounded by mountains. We get Fresh air

Dislikes

A little bit of Tribalism and partially towards their own clan
Too much friendliness which impacts the students behaviour and respect to the teachers
Using of english language is little poor among students even though its an english medium institute

If i were to rate I would rate this college 7 out of 10. I was influenced by a lot of friends to choose this course since they have completed many competetive exams by choosing this course as well as this college i am studying in The area is environment friendly covered with mountains and fresh air with no air pollution or noise pollution which improves the quality of both teaching and learning

It has seperate bathroom for girls and boys
The college surrounding is always clean and hygienic
It gives equal focus on college study and activities

It has only two canteen inside the campus , which is not convenient enough
It has only one Library which is not convenient enough

Okay So our department provided Summer internship and me and my friends headed to Guwahati, we worked at Pantaloons which is a shopping mall , i research on the topic Employee satisfaction I was so glad our department provided this opportunity, I learnt A lot though out this internship and now I'm working on my report, hoping I'll do my best
