It was perfect

Likes

I like how the college function and the professor and principal .
All the teachers are well experienced and educated
Friends are all good and we tried our best to obey the rules of college

Dislikes

Toilet aren't properly maintained and it's dirty
We had hard time to manage with and we have class in 8:00 am in the morning so those who stay far away had a hard time to come and attend
Some students don't like to wear proper uniform and came with other dresses which can be said that there's no much restriction

Course Curriculum Overview:

As for my particular major paper it's hard I can say. Since it's political science we have to know every rules and law and every articles in the constitution and also the period of time and year of event.

My experience in a college life

Likes

The things I like about my college is that the professor and lecturers are quite good in teaching and most of them are easy to approach,there is sufficient water for drinking.
Various programmes are held which are very beneficial for the students career. The mentors are appointed to mentor the students giving them counselling, career guidence and to motivate them.
The college not only focuses on academic but also focus on the mental health of the students.There is a good social interactions within the campus and many opportunities are provided.

Dislikes

Things I dislike about my college is there is no sufficient water in the toilet and it's very unhygienic which can cause many sicknessess.
The college compound is very small and there's no sufficient space to occupy all the students.The college programme are not interesting and very less games and sports during annual sports week
The college needs renovation and they should not only focuses on academic but instead they must give students some recreational activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose political science basing on my goal and to study about current affairs and situations it's very interesting to me. There are many changes that I would like to bring into the society and therefore it helps me to learn more.The curriculum including subjects that can help us to do well and cope with the society. It teaches us how to react to the situation and how we should deal with the situations.There should be more advanced technologies in teaching and more curriculum focusing on mental health and physical health should be provided. The timing should be atleast 5 hours for examination especially on subject that are quite hard.

Beyond expectations

Likes

The faculty are well qualified and teach us with the best they can.
There is a strict checking on uniforms.
There is a strict maintenance of attendance.

Dislikes

There is poor washroom facility,with no proper water supply.
The drinking water facility is poor, once we drink the college water we suffer from soar throat.
Broken windows, no proper guidance and lack of discipline of some lectures because they hav gutkha n come to classes.

As for me I come from a financial unstable background I was not planning to go for further studies but i was being forced I join tis institution just because of NCC, n for the circulum of the college i should say it's good enough for my experience.

Likes

I like the teachers , they are very friendly and their expectations are easy to understand
I really liked the surrounding,the location of the place.
The teachers are all professionals qualified

Dislikes

The college infrastructure and poor facilities
Students relationship with their mentors is very poor
Some teachers poor teaching methods and lack of interaction

I choosed sociology course because I scored good marks in this paper compare to others subject. I believe that this course I have choosed will lead me to a big goal one day. I also think we need to have weekly test on each unit .

MY EXPERIENCE IN KOHIMA COLLEGE, KOHIMA

Likes

I like the Projectors provided in every class
I like the bread toast served in the college canteen
I like the CCTV placed in every corridor

Dislikes

I dislike the smelly toilets and not wash Bathrooms
I dislike the Dirt in the corridor and in the Classroom
I dislike the class timings, sometimes its in morning and sometimes its in evening

The course curriculum is highly relevant as it prepares the students effectively I chose Sociology course and it needs improvement in the quality of Projectors And Implementing strick rules in keeping the bathroom clean.

The things I like is about the good teaching faculty, pretty understanding,funny and approachable attitude towards teachers
The fresh classrooms and free space to move around easily
Well behaved and supportive friends and senior who are guiding us well

Dislikes

One thing I dislike is the smelliest washroom
The dirty corner classrooms which is quite discustin
Insufficiency of water in the washrooms and not sufficient washroom

The curriculum why I choose this was that I was so much interested in it ,it has helped me alot to understand about society. It improves our understanding level and it make us more aware about the society and the past events .

College life :Expect the unexpected.

Likes

The college canteen where we get necessary fast food and stuff to eat.
The college campus, where I can rest and chill with my friends.
The classroom with proper projector facility .

Dislikes

The bench and desk which are not comfortable.
The washroom which is very dirty for urgent needs.
The college timing with no breaks between classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course as of now is mutual.Fun yet boring at the Sam time.Some topics are interesting where I can relate too while some are just too boring and seem useless to learn it in class. Exams as of now are quite good and easy only if we study.

Due to it's high demand from the competitive exam i took history, yes kohima college is known for top class history teachers and there is alot of demand for kohima college history, the cons is that the teachers don't accept your paper if it's less than 3 pages, 6 pages is a must
