- The faculty is the best part of kiit school of architecture. The amount of attention and time given by the faculty to each and everyone is unmatched from any other institution that I’ve heard of ~ Anisha Begum, B.Arch

- Huge sports facility , also grounds for layman players for cricket.
- Very beautiful campuses, as they have rose garden etc.
- The area in which are institution is made is sorrounded by too many daily needs shops and hotels etc.
Dislikes
- We know that semester is of 6 months , right? But actually they are (in my batch) completing it in just 4-4.5 months.
- Mess food are not upto the mark . Only non veg are above average and rest are below average.
- They deduct your marks upon your attendance , they even ignore your hardwork and just rely upon why you don’t come to classes regularly.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible after 3rd year gor sitting in placements.
Companies - FANGO etc
Highest - 85 lakhs (offcampus) & 41 lakhs (incampus)
Average - 6.5 lakhs
I don't know the exact percentage but they claim it to be 100%

- The College is at the centre of the town and had any transport facilities near it.
- It had provided us with a green campus with a lot of trees around it. The Campus has many facilities like Cricket and football grounds, Gyms and Retail shops, Food courts, etc.
- The faculty are the best according to me. They are highly qualified and mentored student in every step of his/her life.
Dislikes
- Disliking part i would include the little less average packages for students. Moreover the school is roping in many students at once increasing the seats randomly.
- This decreases the percentage of students being placed finally.
Placement Experience:
Students get placements after the 7th Semester. Many 750 companies have visited for placements like Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, Deloitte, Cisco, KPMG, etc. The highest package for the last financial year was 63LPA and the average package stood at INR 6.5LPA. There were about 90%+ students placed last year. After getting the degree, I have a plan of going for the Master's degree.

- The infrastructure; college has amazing infrastructure, buildings, ac classrooms, garden libraries, seminar halls
- Connectivity; the college is situated in the center of the city, with airport and railway station nearby
- Exposure; College provides the opportunity to participate in different events, has amazing sports facility, develops personality.
Dislikes
- The faculty; On an average the faculty is not up to the mark of a college of international standing, students have to study on their own only at the end of the day.
- Hostel intime; there is a hostel intime which is very restricting, makes it difficult to do anything after evening 6:30
- Climate; it is hot and humid in Odissa, it rains very often, new students can find it difficult to adapt
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible to appear for PPOs and campus placement from their 5th and 6th semester in college. Multiple big companies like Adobe, Bosch, Lenovo etc come for campus placements. However because of the recession trends recently the percentage of students that are placed well is low. The average package is 7lpa, thr highest being 50lpa.
My plans are to work for a couple of years after the degree and then decide if i want to switch or get a master's degree.

- The campus is one of the biggest campus in India with greenery all around
- The society's are plenty and everyone gets ample opportunities
- There are regular events all around the campus and there is never a dull day
Dislikes
- The weather of the city is not very nice
- There will be food issues in your mess s
- There is a slight bias towards odia and Bengali students
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible from 6th semester for placement there are many many companies that come to the college highest package is 63 lpa and average package for cse is 8 lpa with average of top 1500 being 12 lpa 80-90% of the students get placed

- The management and infrastructure is good
- Professors are generous and helpful in academic issues
- Laboratories and research facilities are just awesome
Dislikes
- Course is too much as per the facilities
- Discipline is a bit less in the outdoor campus areas
- Gyms and swimming pools in hostel shoud be allowed to be availed for free after so much fees in hostels.
Placement Experience:
From 6 th semester , students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like txs , wipro , amazon , infosys , accenture and 400 more companies visit our campus , and a lot no of offers are made by them. Highest package was 72 lakhs per annum and average is 12 lakhs per annum there is 95 % rate of students getting placed.

- Infrastructure is very nice like campus area and all the classes has ac.
- Cantten and food courts it has reasnable prices there.
- Teachers are well qualified and highly educated and research facilty is also good.
Dislikes
- Hostel end time like we had restrication we have to come back to our hostel by 7 pm due to it has open campus
- Lot of students like there are almost 5000 plus student in one year of computer science
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement
Many companies comes in all those compies is mentioned in kiit website and 1 company operates from the campus that is high radius and most of the student get placed
highest package is 75 lakhs offered in btech cse
around 90%+ student get placed

- They have a great exposure about all things.
- Have a huge lush green campus and have a very good space for every sports activity
Dislikes
- Mess food is not up to mark although quality is good but it is on expensive side.
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement.
As I'm in 2nd semester I don't know the company name which visits our university but they offer a good package to deserving candidates.
The highest package was 4000000 approx .and the average is 850000.
The students who are eligible they are getting placed for sure i.e. that students who have not been back in there any of their semester.
My plan is to do an MBA after my degree.

- The campus life is great as the college is so big its was a great campus experience
- There are many other options for extra activities
- Faculties are very interactive and makes the topic very interesting
Dislikes
- The timing of the hostel entry it was so restricted
- And for girls staying in hostel have to leave the library after 10 Pm
- The hostel food was not always good it's depends on the no of students
Placement Experience:
Yes there is placements in the college with average package 8 lakh rupees and from 6 th semester you are eligible for placement more than 450 companies with 5200 offers highest package is 63 lakh and average is 8 lakh

- Surrounding- kiit provide a very student friendly campus where all things are readily available in nearby and mainly the campus is ragging free
- Examination methodology - All examination , practical exam and other stuffs are given by the before starting of the semester which helps the student to plan accordingly
- The campus is totally ragging free and these makes the college more student friendly
Dislikes
- Some Teachers are very cooperative but some Teachers act like typically government teachers and have very arrogant and rude behaviour
- Hostel food is just like hell it sucks!!
- Hostel staff are slightly strict in first year and behave as if like they are the owners of the college
Placement Experience:
The average package of the cse branch is 800000 and the highest package of the year was 75lakhs.
Training and placement cell guides you throughout the year for better placement.
Special classes are conducted online for English , data structure and aptitude

- Faculty members are free and friendly in nature wise. The teachings of each faculty feels worth it. The syllabus and courses feels light weight when they teach those in very ease.
- The library of our department is totally peaceful to spend time with books.
- Total classrooms and infrastructure are excellent.
Dislikes
- Saturday extra classes. However very less students used to come.
- So many students gets addmission which sometimes feels like fish market though.
- The quantity of students are more but the competition among students are literally very low.
Placement Experience:
There is an option for on-capmus placement, students with great experience and skills can easily get placed or else students those with no on-capmus placement can apply for off-campus placements with the essential degree being achieved by.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
