Life at NLUO

Faculty:

At NLUO we have end semester examinations of 60 marks at the end of every semester along with Projects of 20 marks and Tutorials of 10 Marks. Faculty to student ratio is pretty decent at NLUO. Most of faculties at NLUO are contractually hired. The faculty use several teaching methods like power point presentations, lectures and demonstrations. The faculty at NLUO is student friendly, receptive to needs and academic requirement of students which is helpful for maneuvering through law school.

THE LIFE AT NLUO

Faculty:

There are 6 subjects in each semester and each semester is of almost 4 months. Then you get 2 months break for internship and some rest. Faculty to student ratio is also good. 1 faculty teaches 60 students which is decent. The exams are conducted only once in a semester, that is at the end of the semester.

The faculty are good here, they are approachable and they have a helping nature, some of the faculties are very well qualified and some new faculty are also here. Earlier we are having mid Sem and end semester exam in one semester but after the new examination policy was introduced, project plus viva is of 30 marks and and end semester is of 70 marks, but this year we got new policy where project plus Viva plus presentation is having 40 marks and and end semester we are having of 60 marks.

NLUO is on a rise

Faculty:

Though most faculties here are new but are decent enough as they have nice education background and a wealth of teaching experience too. In terms of rapport, the faculties maintains same with all like not too close, nor too distant.

Faculty:

The faculties are mainly of professor level, they are very patient, friendly and helpful but they provide alot of stuffs to do. Here semester wise exams, scheme is followed only 1 exam per semester of 70 marks and rest 30 marks for project and viva so total 100. The marking is quite tough in this University as far as I have studied, and if one takes exam lightly would definitely had a back paper. Semester is divided into 2 parts - 1st 4 months we will study in campus and 2 months college will provide us with internship break for internship so a semester is of 6 months.

The teaching is not so bookish but also by practical discussion and engaging ppts and quizzes. The faculty is also available for consultation after college hours.
