THE LIFE AT NLUO

Fees and Financial Aid:

The yearly fees structure is 2,56,000 including hostels. There is 40,000 fees for mess. It includes certain refundable deposits too. So around 3 lakhs is what you have to pay for hostels , mess and academics. There are certain scholarships facilities for certain backward classes and certain merit based too.

The Annual fees for 3 Year LL.B. course here in National Law University is nearly Rs 2,60,000(Including Hostel fees). We can pay fees in two parts before starting of every semester. There is no any fees difference for other categories. But for NRI Quota fees was high compared to us. Tution fees for our Course is Rs 1,20,000 per year We are not provides with any scholarship facility till now. And other fees include - Re-Admission Fees Student Welfare Fund Examination Fee Internet/IT Service Fee Electricity charges Sports and Games facilities Moot court/Seminar/Workshops Library fee Estate maintenance

NLUO is on a rise

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees for LLB is 257000 per year and it stayed the same both the years so far. So luckily no increase in fees and for every general student it is same. For other category students like PWD, SC/ST or OBC, it is lesser than what general category students have to pay.

The Admission fees for NLUO is 10000k need to be paid online, after counseling round This need to be paid at once once admission is confirmed (Yearly fees) - 230000 Once Library deposit -10000 (refundable) Once Mess deposit- 10000 (refundable) Hostel fees - 30000, can be paid in 2 installments as per semester Mess fee - 36000, can be paid in 2 installments as per semester There is no collateral loan scheme for the students studing in this University, that is one can available loan with keeping any thing as security in the bank. If some one is from NRI quota then the yearly fees structure is around 600000, but hostel fees remain same as usual.

The college fees till 2022 was 201000 excluding the mess fees but from the year 2023, it has become 242000. The college increases it fee after every 5 years. The total cost for my course is approximately 15 years. Scholarships or financial aid are given to economically backward students.

LIFE AT NLUO BACK AT 2012

The fee hike is a systematic process. In 2012 the fees were somewhere around 1,75,000 per year including the hostel and mess. There is financial assistance available in the college for economically weaker section people. The overall cost ranged around 14 lacs from 2012-2017, which can vary at the moment.

Our fee structure goes on to two lakhs per annum for undergraduate students and one and a half lakh for post graduate students. Our college provides Aditya Birla scholarships to the students who are top rankers and scholarships and loan facilities are also provided to those students who are from low-income groups. One can always go to the accounts department and talk to them to get any sort of financial assistance. The centers also provide stipends to research assistants for students who work on a long-term basis.

Perfect college for Law.

The top 20 rankers of our college can apply for the Aditya Birla Scholarship. Other than that, there isn't any such scholarship available as it is not government oriented and it runs on its won fund. Other than this, there are few scholarships available for the SC/ST students from the government.
