Fact about unc

Likes

Professor are co-operative , they aware us with comparative exams and skills set required form.
Various games and sports are available in the stadium.
Various types of Books including non fiction, fiction,journal, magazine.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. The course are structured for industriay - oriented many alumni are serving various and national posts 2. Time table has to be more disciplined and punctual. 3. They don't teach many applications and examples.

A glimpse about SJMCH

Good enough campus and very good location as puri is a tourist place.There is sea beach near by , you can chill there in free time . Good trasport facility and every other services like Zomato and swiggy are available. Lots of place to hang out......
And now about campus life - it is a ragging free zone ( a true ragging free zone , not just in pen papper) Initially you will get single room for one year which is good enough,then 2nd year onwards you will get 3 seated room which is also good enough
Now coming to academics the faculties are really very experienced and the classe are regular and mandatory attendance for theory is 75% and for practicals 80%.The strict academics makes our college best for study purposes.

Dislikes

For 1st year you can't keep your own vehicle.so you have to relay on auto rickshaw or other public transport.
The campus is not so big enough and yet there is no garden or such things in campus .
Hostel is little bit in rural area you have to go around 5-6 kms for town

Course Curriculum Overview:

We are grateful to our amazing teachers.They try to teach us in a wonderful way . The practical practice are so good here . From early clinical exposure to Class room teaching. Everything is good enough. As they emphasize on practical based teaching which surly help for our university exam as well as entrance exam.

Affordable, and quite great experience

Likes

In my view as a zoology hons students, learning experience is quite better.
Faculties are supportive, and class room environment is good
Social activities also there, you can join groups as per your hobbies, like music, dance, volunteer etc

Dislikes

I can say infrastructure is not so good, as it is a old college.
Poor sanitation facilities for such large numbers of students
Also not much lab equipment are there for practicals. That's a problem

I am preparing for medical entrance (NEET) though I unable to get a medical college seat I choose to do BSC in zoology Hons. I was also interested for doing higher studies in zoology Examination are in each 5 months and in between certain class test are prepared for students attend.

Likes

The distance course which will help you if you are a working person.
The faculties are very helpful and behaviour is also good.
The fees structure is very affordable in comparison to other colleges.

Dislikes

The college doesn't provides placement facility.
They don't provide any scholarship or internship program for students.
They do not have any hostel or mess facilities available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As ddce utkal university is a distance college it is easy to maintain your student life and professional life. You can do part time jobs easily which is very convenient nowadays. The exams are of 3hrs each paper. The curriculum prepares us to deal with very bad situation very calmly. It's helps us in decision making, working in a group together.

Likes

Regular classes are taken and very less get cancelled.
Teachers are very supportive and help us with doubts when ask them.
The college holds seminars and allows all year students to attend it and have interaction.

Placement Experience:

ONGC, BARC visited the college. The average package which students getvis 25000. My plan after getting the degree is doing Masters in Geology. The final year students sir for the company placement when they arrive.

Likes

Our university environment is good for studying.
All the departments have their own library.

Dislikes

University doesn't provide that much placements.
University website is not very understandable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course provides me the knowledge of my interest. We do practical implimentations in lab classes. We do have our exams of mid semester and semester. And the difficulty level is as per our syllabus.

One must enjoy his or her college life.

Likes

Faculties member are very interactive and supportive.
I took bsc in mathematics honours so my lecturers are good enough.
Much time for preparation of different examination like SSC and banking.

Dislikes

Canteen Foods are very bad quality and behaviour of official member is very bad.
Librarian sir di nothing only scold the students .

Course Curriculum Overview:

In a year there is two semesters and in each semester there is two examination and one is internal consists of 20 marks and external examination of 80 marks. In course curriculum one change that I personally wants is to add something to make strong for competitive examinations.

Likes

There are people from States other than odisha so language would not be a barrier.
Everyone is provided with hostel facilities.
The faculties over here are very experienced and highly qualified.

Dislikes

Very less number of students in clg so u may find less people to engage with.
Two internal exams and a semester exams are held in a semester. So u will always be occupied with exams.
The campus doesn't have many buildings. So the infrastructure seems to be an issue.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is designed as the requirements of the students and helps them get deeper insight of their subject. The BEd course along with the BSc one helps in getting two degrees in a shorter span of time.

Likes

I like that there are many seniors and juniors with who are willing to help you with anything you want I want to know
The faculties also help in some of our work and other related things
The surrounding of the campuses very good all the faculty and students are so friendly

Dislikes

I don't like about the sport because they didn't encourage a lot student to participate and don't have any scope in it
There is also ragging and even the principle can't take actions against it
There is very bad facility or maybe don't have any facilities of good bathrooms and toilets it's always dirty

So it's like in my 12th I was a art student so my favourite subject was political science because it was easier for me to understand and learn about it so I thought of making it Honours in my plus 3 and so I Political Science as the Honours and after that I came to know that it is really so fast in plus 3 then plus 2

STUDY IS THE BEST WORK IN THE WORLD

Likes

I appreciated the work in our playground improvement in so many years.
Quality of infrastructure, including campus amenities and learning facilities are also good for every student.
Ragging in our college is banned so that our campus environment is best for our all students.

Dislikes

I disliked the teacher vacancy to be filled up very large amount of time.
The environment of our college is not clean as much as a student needs.
Some basic needs like toilet and bathroom are insufficient in our college.

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is that the chemistry is need for every sectors in our environment so that it helps us veriously so I choose that course.Course needs some improvement like practical emphasis on that course should be improve the students knowledge so that a student can be easily know the fact of chemistry.Frequency of exams is at about 3 months and the timing of exams is at about 1 hour.
