All about Hi-tech Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar

I really like the way are taught ; like the introducing us to the practical aspects of medical, be it like taking us to field visits , regular dissection lectures or frequent tests.
The authority and administratives are really concerned about the students performance. They frequently conduct one-on-one parent teacher meetings based on the exam results.
The gender ratio is almost 50:50. That provides a good base for the students to interact among themselves

Dislikes

My college is located on the peripheral part of the city . So you might feel a little as there are not many things to do near the campus . Though there are many good places in couple of hours drive away from the city that can keep you entertained.
The campus is pretty small. So you might not be able to hang around the campus alott.
Due to strict admission you might feel a little like a school student here tho. :-!

Course Curriculum Overview:

The only thing that inspires me to go on despite of all the burn outs is the course curriculum. I'm absolutely in love with the course. It's sometime overwhelming that we're gonna deal with the human body tho and the way they teach us specifically the practical part of dealing with patients. Because of the affordable health care provision the patient load in our hospital is pretty good. Hence we get to learn about a lot of cases . Though I consider the learning part to be really good. I feel like there is a need of a better infrastructure in the college . The labs need to be more updated with more advanced equipments . The hostel food menu needs an upgrade too ;-(

A glimpse of MITS

Likes

Some teachers were really friendly and were experienced who gave us a beautiful experience of teaching
The fee is quite feasible which makes people to join this course
Placements in the college is quite good as compared to other colleges

Dislikes

There is no separate cafeteria in the college
The timings of the class sucks here the most
Some new facilities are here who don't have get patience to teach

Placement Experience:

From staring of 3rd sem the pre placement training starts and later by the starting of 5th sem the placement use to come to college Various companies like LTIMINDTREE, Wipro, Hexaward, Deloitte, Accenture, TCS etc Avg package is 3.5lph About 60-70% people get placed After the degree I got placed and m currently working in it

College ke kuch batein

I will appreciate the infrastructure of college of arts block ..but same development should be done in both science and self finance departments.
The faculties are good in teaching .but sometimes there are some problems
Now a days self finance dept. Fees are increasing which would be a problem for future students .

Dislikes

The college washroom are in a very worst condition.
Apart from freshers and farewell college provide no culture programmes .
College has a basket ball ground which need renovations

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is indirectly sanewith betch . This course leads to software jobs . The course are difficult and the exams too but the lecture of the faculties makes it easier for the students. We have misem very earlier and sem 2 months later.

Engagment with Campus life was perhaps the best. The exposure is second to none, given it's a Govt. College with plethora of Alumnis and present students.
The academic curriculum is designed in a way so as to prepare the students for every kind of curve ball that's thrown at them, whether it's Corporate or Litigation or Judiciary.
Faculties are very much in depth as to their subject matters and the frequent competitions as well as moot court or seminars really do bring a great variety of exposure.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is way more to be developed. Although many great additions have been added in the past 2 years, then again a lot more work is to be done.
Albeit the faculties are great, there comes in the question of coming into the classes as per the specified timetable and also, as per other technicalities that exist, such as guest lecturers.
Placement as well as proper internships opportunities must be given, which when compared to other national law colleges or private law colleges, is far behind.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum itself is designed in a way so as to teach the students to comprehensively be aware and get entwined with each paper, as there are 6 per semester. Specific aspects of the curriculum are huge and can only be described in detail when there is someone who chooses to delve into them, and as like the faculties, is subjective too. The curriculum does prepare you for real world applications as well as for any further academic pursuits in a very comprehensive manner so as the students take it as easy as possible. Exams are held every 6 months, internals and semester exams alike, with them being difficult from moderate to very high.

Zoology is good academics subject but in real-world applications is less as it doesnot provide any company related jobs but if you want to prepare for govt. Jobs it could be a good stair to walk on. Frequency of exams is within 6 months and it is moderate level exams

Good environment and clean campus making mood happier as there are lot of parks nearby and in the campus also
Management is cooperative if we had any query
Good infrastruscture like big auditoriums librabraries big labs

Dislikes

The canteen coul be better and well organised
The faculty of the department are less cooperative
There are bad political influence over students

Generally in the bcom stream only take admission if you already have a primary motive such as mba ca cs cma . So you have to have a primary plana as there is no subject related job available if you pass out from here.

Our university offers a course of 3 yr in bsc Physics And we appear in 6 semesters in 3 yrs and 2 semesters in each year And I think university should give us more time to prepare for exam as it's conducting exam in 2-3 months

Our college having good character faculties. They are very much friendly and supportive nature.
Our college have good campus for all the students. In our college campus there are no ragging environment.
In our college all the scholars are getting admission. All the students have much more knowledge. Very friendly environment has made in among all the students.

Dislikes

In our college campus there is no a single cycle stand. There is no common room for boys.
There are no other events are done in our college campus. Only Freshers and farewell parties are done.
There is no a good canteen in the college campus. There is a poor canteen which have only Meals or lunches.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the courses are so good. You have to choose them according your goals, interests & capable. The faculties are so supportive and like to solve the doubts of every students. The semesters are coming in the middle of the semester gap. It is a big challenge to face the exams without fully prepared and don't complete the syllabus.

The things are that I liked the most is the surroundings of the college and the discipline of the college. There are many departments in the college and they all are like the families

I wanted to do the course for it's specifications in life and it will help me to reach at my goal. And another reason is this course is enjoyable and it is easy to memorize and I am having fun to do this course and I am grateful also.

I wanted to do a job as soon as possible so I choosed BCA course for better placement.Our teachers guide us to prepare for the placements so we can get a job.The difficulty level of exam is medium but competitive.
