Yearly fee is around 26k, we mostly pay semester wise, as a central university it's quite affordable, yet the facilities they provide is quite questionable, hostel facilities are not worthy, the food quality is below avarage.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tuition fee for the Master's program in PU, rounds up to 12000 in the first semester. The odd semester fee is always a bit higher than the even semester. The entirety of admission fee, caution fee and other deposits are included in this. The Hostel fee for the girls comes out to be nearly 19000 in the first semester. It also includes the deposits and mess fees. There is no special reduction of fees for SC students. There is reimbursement in other forms.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure for MA English and Comparative Literature is paid semester wise. For the first semester it is INR 19042. For the third semester it is INR 9700 and for both second and fourth semesters it is INR 1700. For each semester's exm registration INR 500 needs to be paid. Degree and provisional certificate fee is INR 2000. For hostel and mess 19400 has to be paid semester wise.

19,388 is the fees i paid as someone belonging to the obc category. 19,388 is the fees for hostel and mess. I am not sure of the fee structure for those belonging to other categories. The hostel application charge is 75 Caution deposit which is refundable is 3000 Hostel establishment charges is 300 Hostel general amenities fund is 770 Hostel mess fees is 13098 Hostel room rent is 1100 Hostel utility and maintenance is 1045

There definitely was an increase in the tution fee, that was the only negative to be mentioned. But other than that, the fees is reasonable. Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them Also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tution fees in Pondicherry University when compared to other central universities are a bit higher. However, the hostel for girls is absolutely free, whereas the boys are supposed to pay a sum which is somewhere around 1000 rupees. The highest-scoring students are provided with scholarships. My department in other cases never offered any stipends.
