Liberty to choose any course of your choice as elective from any department.

Dislikes

They take too many student per batch. There isn't any section division and it's difficult for us study in a herd.

Fees and Financial Aid:

1st semester fees including admission fees was 23042. 2nd semester fees was 3700. 3rd semester fees was 13700 and last semester fees was 3350. Exam fees is to be given before semester exam and it varies from 300-500, depending on the number of paper you opt. The top 3 students every semester recieved a scholarship of 2000, 1500, 1000 rupees per month.

And in 3rd semester i have paid 14140? as semester fee and in 4th semester i have to pay again 3200?. It is increased as compared to previous years. I have not applied to any of the scholorships

Tuition fee for the first semester was around 15k and for second sem it was Rs 3200 And hostel fee is around 28k so around it would cost 50k for a year For the Kerala students there is a scholarship provided by Kerala based on their eligibility criteria and the first 3 rankholders would get scholarships

The total fee to complete pg program in Molecular Biology and Biochemical is about 50k. There is no extra fees that is demanded except exam fee. That is based in the number of papers. Fees and Financial Aid:

No such increase in tuition fees were noticed. The complete cost of finishing this PG would be around less than 60K.There are plenty of scholarships available for scholars. Merit Scholarship is provided for those who ranks first in each semester.

As it's a master degree it's goes for two years, initially we should pay 23000 including tution fees but in even sem there will be no tution fees. About scholarship they provide University and department scholarship but amount would be sanctioned based on University fees.

Pondicherry University - The University with best and worst of both worlds

The semester fees for the university is high according to my opinion since it's central university the fee structure is little bit high Sem 1 - 23k Sem 2 - 3k Sem 3 - 14k Sem 4 - 3k The hostel fees are a total of 40k The scholarships provided are based on which state the student belongs to since their own states provides the respective scholarship for their students The campus doesn't provide any internships and the project work eligibility is top 50% in the class which I've never seen in any university and this leads to the downfall of the student's career. There are certain teaching jobs for some students which doesn't have a career growth if you ask me *Note that this data is only obtained from the department of Biochemistry and molecular biology in Pondicherry University The rest of the departments provide projects interships and few provide Campus placements for ex : MBA department The semester exams fee is acceptable and there is no extra charges from the academical side!.
