CU Punjab Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

For my course they are providing both theory and field work classes. The syllabus is difficult. All the faculty teaches in agood manner. Timings of the exam is too short as we cant prepare eell for our exams

Tje university collectively promote stuudents to engage in research and a very good importance is guven for that so its very good and exposure to various subject relted things are given but the college dontt havee any entertainment of celebration for mass its just the local celebrations that are permitted andd they have huge restrictions on it as well As are offten happens like the surprise test then msst and then est we have a very busy schedule for exams

My course is going newly introduced by education ministry in NEP .it's going highly demanded in upcoming year.our course is highly modified and not need, if any need of modification gov. make it proper

The course curriculum was good, but some were bachelors level. We should have give more advanced curriculum. Main focus was on research so we cannot say curriculum should be main focus. The timings of exam were favoured by students, so no problem.

3rd or 4rth semester students are eligible for campus placement. Glenmark pharmaceutical company Mumbai and other more companies visited in our university to talk students and also give opportunities to work with them. 2lac to 6lac average package 50-70% students getting placement My plan is to do phd

Course curriculum is very well designed, it is being designed in such a way that it helps in the mind building of a student. Relevancy is one thing but the faculty here helps to connect the topics of syllabus to the current world scenario

the course is constructed very nice way like every semester is well suited according to the industrial requirement of our domain , bioinformatics , as we have ngs , python , machine learning , sql ,r , data analysis, all the required field of our interest. but the teacher's let us explore our way ot our course, that's good though but sometimes this become hectic when you think about your future like you are not doing anything, futhermore there is a ample amount of time you'll get so you can do and improve your skills as per your interest. improvements can be done like if all teachers teach us from very basics and some use to do, as we all are from differnt- different background.

The curriculum and syllabus is very updated and can be useful for future aspects. As it contains skill worthy courses and subjects that can be utilized in real world jobs and other areas as well. The programming languages being taught are new like python and R which are useful for the field of bioinformatics. The subjects like protein engineering and ngs are very well taught and is appreciable.

Exams will be held once every year between March to July and is an average difficult exam. This course is suited for those particularly interested in the management, conservation and research of environment and it's related aspects. The course is designed in such a way that it prepares us to crack and perform well in the competitive exams like UGC NET exams as well as the interviews for environmental firms. Each semester last 5 months and the final semester is solely for dissertation works or internships. Semester exams' difficulty can be considered as average level.

The curriculum was based on practical and applied sciences rather than theory. I feel it will be an advantage in getting jobs and research field. The curriculum covered almost all aspects in this course field and it is based on application level training. More internship and placement opportunities should be included in the course program. Exams are of average difficulty and patterns of exams are quite interesting and easy to score.
