CU Punjab Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choosen Law course as I believe it gives me legal knowledge about my legal rights and obligations that must be fulfilled for the improvement or upliftment of the society and the student ratio is 8:1. All the faculty members are higher qualified (PHD's degree and knowledgable work experience) and their teaching method is very impression and interactive. There are 4 semesters and each semester We have 4 CAT (Continue aceessment test) of 10 marks each. apart from that, there are mid term exams and end term exams which contains 50 marks each respectively. It's moderate for those who study on daily basis.

This course is good and has more scope in the market Faculy is highly educated and good in their field and more experience . Student ratio is 10 :1 All faculy is qualified with phd and had good research Term exam hold two times , and it's moderate not to tough .

I choose this course because I like studying microbes and their benefit. There are 6-7 professors and 34 students. Faculties have Ph.D. degrees and they have cleared the net exam. The teaching method can be better. In this University exam is taken semester-wise.

I selected M.Tech in Computer Science and Technology. The reason is that not only I have completed my graduation (B.Tech) in similar course, but also I would get opportunity to learn about modern technologies effectively. At CUP, Bathinda, M.Tech is provided in two streams namely Computer Science and Technology (CST) and Cyber Security (CS). When I was part of this institution, there were 24 students in CST and 15 students in CS. Further talking about faculty:student ratio in the department, it is approximately 10:40. All professors have either completed or are pursuing doctoral degree. The teaching method includes both whiteboard teaching and PowerPoint presentations. While final examination is conducted in objective mode online, monthly examination is subjective of 24 marks. Also, surprise quizzes and assignments are conducted. Examination is of above average level. Moreover, emphasis is led on increasing R&D quotient in students.

The university provides a good research exposure, the lab facilities are great, there are many reputed professors, it has a good campus and ambience, there are students from all across India so it provides a good diversity of culture.

University is not upto our level of expectations in terms of academics and infrastructural facilities. But the campus life and friends is truly a good experience

University faculty is very well qualified and experienced. The research facilities are available for phd students and number of sophisticated instruments are available. Hostel facility is need to be modified and upgraded.

Good remark is that students in this university belong to every states of India. That's why some time we called it mini India university.

As I am a newly admitted student of this University, so a lot of things are in future to gain experience. Still in last four months,from my point of view I must say that this University is not so big than other but its students, faculty, curriculum, environment, campus are so good that any one visit here or studied or is studying here miss a lot after leaving this University.

Our university seems like a home to me now with lots of greenary and convinient facilities available. Teachers are friendly. seniors are supportive. classmates are enthusiastic with a good future will.
