The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

What to expect ?

Likes

I have improved my communication skills.
Skills developed mainly technical and critical thinking skills.
To be able to comfortably live alone and independently managing all things by myself.

Dislikes

I disliked how people behave in a certain manner and that all can not be friends.
I hate the attendance criteria and to attend classes.
Exams should be conducted once rather than thrice.

Placement Experience:

The placements here at Chandigarh University are great.It is India's first private University and about 70% students get placed. It also depends upon your skills, your personality and your CGPA as well.

My journey of college

Likes

Gud teachers and sometimes they r more rude in their behaviour..
The amount of girls in our class is 7 and the boys rare 13 ..
The some girls are so selfish nature some r gud according to their nature but are not gud around me . I don't know why .

Dislikes

Teachers r very desplined and fashionvista .
College are gud , here 72 countries's students are studied ,also learned about how to work with offices and go to a trip .
Boys and girls are both ok . All r selfish when it comes to me , they always come to me to do your work otherwise they. Don't talk to me , I always alone in the college, I have no friends like true friends.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There a more activity in the college , we go on a visit trip , also we enjoyed in a NSS camp a lot . Also we do a lots of trip and activities that learn us how to engage with people , how to work in offices ,with colleagues,it's more fun .

My overall experience in the college has been productive and fully filled
With a mix of strengthen areas that could improve
Academy academically, the faculty member are knowledgeable

Dislikes

Hostel facility need improvement Specially in terms of Wi-Fi speed
A few lab still have a old equipments and computers

The placement opportunity in my my college are quite strong and generally being from the 6 semester when Student become officially eligible for campus requirement, and CGPA must be greater than 7.5 and no back in previous papers

Chandigarh University - A Wise Choice

Likes

Really well built infrastructure , like you have everything you can possibly need in this college... Proper hygeine , spacious area , modern infrastructure , labs , playing fields etc etc
Multitude of events and various clubs to choose from , based upon your hobby. CU really emphasizes on overall growth of the student
Very great placement opportunities overall , lots of companies hiring every year and if you are competent... You are bound to be selected due to such great exposure

Dislikes

Teachers aren't very great out there , various new teachers and part timers... Overall the guidance might be bad at times
School like strictness in college really restricts your personal freedom with various overly strict rules
Too much student crowd , the teacher of student ratio isn't good which affects the individual attention every student gets here.

Placement Experience:

There are a multitude of oppurtunities in placements at CU , you become eligible at around 5-6th Semester ( it varies ) All major companies like amazon , godaddy , Deloitte , Wipro , Microsoft and 1000+ more companies visit the campus resulting into a staggering 8000+ offers recieved by students of the University Highest package in my current session of placement is 41 LPA by Godaddy and average is somewhere around 6-7LPA , there are a multitude of post offered from Software engineer to developer , database management , buisness analyst , data analyst etc Placement percentage is a really variable factor but more than 50% of students surely gets placed for the bare minimum. My personal plans after the degree is to either get a decent paying job or pursue higher education which highly depends on future scenario.

My Real Experience at chandigardh university

Likes

The university has a modern campus with good classrooms, labs, libraries and hostel with free wifi.
Most teacher are knowledgeable and supportive .
placement support is strong , especially for engineering, management and it fields .

Dislikes

some class are overcrowded so personal attention sometimes becomes difficult
the curriculum is good, but sometimes the pace is fast and assignment load feels heavy
fees increase every year, which can be a concern for some students

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as highly relevant and fairly comprehensive one of the main reasons i chose this course wasthe mix of practical subjects like programming, databases, networking, and project-based learning, which aligned well with industry requirements.

Likes

Really affordable as compared to other universities
Really big campus and good infrastructure hostels are good
There are too many cultural events in collage premises

Dislikes

Hostel food is mid it's just good enough to eat
Too many students which increases competition
There are two mid sem which is too much per semester

Placement Experience:

As per my experience in 5th sem 3rd year, campus placement is really good. Big companies do visit our collage there is option for selecting campus placement if you want and additional fee of 11000 will be charged for training placement program. Mostly companies start to visit from 5th sem onwards for internships. Oracle recently came to our collage for 30lpa I would say 60% students get placed. After degree i would go for placements

Everything is good but depends on your potential

Famous faces often visit our college which is good
You can follow your interest in college which is good for you
Latest implementation of technical training evening class as I was it's part

Dislikes

For me it's attendance of 75% is required as some teacher is not so good
To much fun that distracts me from study
Busy academics also a strong negative point for me

As I talk to senior I got to know things like this if you want campus placement there are lot of companies and their vacancy but you should have potential and good cgpa for that according to senior and as I was in evening class held my placed senior whose joining is from January 2026 the had got good package like 40lpa

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Likes

Events and opportunities that helped me to grow and learn. hackathons and other events free of cost with certifications.
Huge network of like minded peoples with them you can grow and learn.
Patent filing is easy. Good infrastructure. Strict rules against ragging.

Dislikes

Some subject seems to be useless and waste of time and some that are useful the teacher just teaches us from slides not all but there are some.
I got selected in a fast learner batch they told us that we will be taught some useful skills but they have conducted only 1 class during the whole sem.
The real learning or the guidence is needed in 1st and 2nd year to grow as early as possible but they dont teach the valuable things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Raw and real Review for chandigarh university

Likes

Some professor are really good they can allow you to leave their classes and some are very strict
The students and the environment is really too fun .
These four years will the best time in your life .

Dislikes

Too much assignment, workload but chill you can make it in classes haha
Too much competition for the girls . You should need one thing good looks or vehicle
They change the sections frequently . So you would get new classmate in every semester

Placement Experience:

Usually from 3rd year you can sit for placement Dell , wipro , coding ninja . Coding ninja took 6 student , dell took 30 and wirpo took 600 It's around 50lpa and avg package would be around 5/6 lpa and the role was sde . 90% students get placed easily I'm planning for learning japanese and go for masters in japan

I like the people around here there are so kind
The academic life is good and the classrooms are nice
The university is organising so many events so you can participate in cocurricular killer and extra curricular activities frequently

Dislikes

The lab equipment is not that good they doesn't have sufficient things
The miss hostel is not that good. I don't like it at all
If you make any late in booking the hostel you will get a three seater outside the campus by that you will be interval basically you want to get a bus which is provided by the University only but you have to get early to get that was

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement we get Boeing Airbus and some other companies in our space engineering and the highest packet of aerospace engineering in 2025 is 15 lpa which is considerable

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
