The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

my golden door of development in chandigarh university

Likes

The aspects of the college that i appreciated is the infrastucture a very good building and compound they have the girl boys ratio is 4-5
my campus life is absolutely very good and fantastic students social interaction is good
the placement services are very good most of us got placement in top companies and also they have top factultyies

Dislikes

Things i disliked is that sometimes they give extra projects and tasks that is very hard to complete
sometimes teacher also angry and can punish you
there are sometimes fight in the college that i dislike that is in every college or school

companies start coming from 6th semester onwards, and you will be applying to various companies in your 4th year, this year only morgan stanley came to our campus, but they didn't hire anyone, obviously because the students don't know much, but the college brings really good companies

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Likes

They do provide a lot of opportunities like hackathons inside the campus. They encourage to participate outside the college too.
Good artists are invited for fests and overall a fun experience.
Great bunch of people from all around India and also international students.

Dislikes

Very strict attendance criteria with teachers often marking you absent and not rectifying the same.
Low attendance leads to detention. To clear detention you have to pay 13000 per subject.
You have to pay additional 10000 to sit in placements. And having attendance below 90% will get you debarred and ineligible to sit in placements.

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Review about chandigarh University

Likes

The college promotes research and it also organised many events
The college has many leave facilities which are easy to avail
The college has good infrastructure which is very beautiful to see

Dislikes

The food in the mess is average but considerably better.
The hostels are ok but they could do a better job in improving hostel
The walking distance everyday is too much and they should provide some facility

Placement Experience:

In cu seniors get offers from 6-7LPA and the highest package crosses 1.6cr recently and also many students are getting decently placed according to their skill level . Students are getting placed in Microsoft, Deloitte etc companies .

A Student's Perspective ( Chandigarh University ) in Review

Likes

Classrooms Are neat and clean enviroment is also very good , Furniture used is of good quality
Teachers Are well Educated and well Experienced Also good in Behaviour They always try to solve each and every problem of every student
Campus is just Very Good I haven't seen any Campus Like Chandigarh University also There no Ragging Systerm everyone is just busy in to learn and Grow.

Dislikes

College was far From remote Location Like it was 26 KM Far from main Railway Station
Canteens are little bit Expensive for me
We have to go to the different class for every next period , in schools we study in same class for whole day which is good and sometimes due to this we get late to reach the next class

Placement Experience:

6th Semester Students Become Eligible for Campus Placements Companies which comes in university - Amazon,Google , Microsoft,IBM, Adobe,Qualcomm etc they made offers from 10 LPA to 1 CR or more Highest Package was 54.75 LPA with international package 1.7 Cr Average Package 8LPA Percentage of students getting placed were more that 90% My plan after degree is to get a decent Package from a reputed company and get settled

Chandigarh University: Ex-Student/Alumni Personal Review.

Likes

The college infrastructure is very defined and all departments are coordinately designed.
The campus life in this university is decent with many events organised every week.
Every building is fully ac equipped which means you will not feel discomfort in summers.

Dislikes

The burden on teachers are too much they don't seem to care much about students.
For document verifications, you have to roam through the entire campus covering all corners of the university.
The quality of food and hostel is not good as you can become really sick.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite surprising for me as I was told, its all ads but when i got in my Fourth year, i was exposed with wide ranges of companies and different fields. The students become eligible for placements as soon as they enter the 7th semester. The no. of companies visited when i was a student is more than 100 and no. of offers made was average of 7 per company. The highest package as far as i know was 22 LPA in campus and 36 LPA outside campus. However, percentage of students getting placements is low. I am planning to pursue higher studies from foreign university.

Great exposure, Learning and Placements at CU- A well rounded experience

class size is too much.. in one class there are more than 50 students
the food provided in hostels mess is not good

Placement Experience:

I am a recent graduate in computer science with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. i took admission in CU just because of their excellent placements for the computer science students and what i feel is during my journey they provide i'll not say 100% placements that they guys claimed but yes the placement is really good. the average package is of 7-8 lpa and they offered placements globally like in hyderabad, pune, banglore, noida that are considered as best places to work in IT sector. but in my last year i.e 4th year i have been offered a position of software engineer intern in gurugram and that was off campus so i grabbed that opportunity. and there is one policy of chandigarh university if you opt for off campus placement then you get debarred from the TPP campus placements of chandigarh university and you will not be able to sit in the campus placements of chandigarh university. rest overall the campus placement is good.

The ratio of boys and girls is 40 percentage is girls and 60 boys
The environment of chandigarh university is good

The faculty of chandigarh university of 1st year
Hostel food and girls hostel infrastructure
The basketball court is not well condition

The Life in Chandigarh University

Likes

The infrastructure is the top level. The lecture classes are equipped with Projectors and ACs. The lab classes are equipped with requirements like computers, projectors etc. The campus infrastructure is lovely.
As a South Indian, I am not good at speaking Hindi. Professors teach in english, which helps me to understand more better.
There are less lectures , which allows us to focus on some other courses or preparation for any exams.

Dislikes

There is relative grading system. The grades are given based on the highest marks of the class. Because of this system, I got low grades with better marks.
There is no lift access to students . So we will have to use stairs.
The ratio of girls : boys is 1 : 3, which can be improved for better balance.

Placement Experience:

The placement is the one of the strongest region in this college. From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. From 4th semester,there is placement training program which makes students get ready for interviews, tests in placements. There are prominent companies who visited our college like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. The highest package offered by a company is Rs. 54LPA and average placement is Rs.8LPA. 90% of eligible students gets placements. My plans after degree is to study MBA and get into entrepreneurship and business.

Campus environment and infrastructure which is fabulous and they have best cafes and environment
Faculty staff and labs they have lots of good equipment in my course and even my brother doing animation they have all required equipment
The secure environment the security staff and higher authority staff and dsw best part of University

Dislikes

Nothing everything is good no issues even it is related to anything academics fees
Everything is best no issues for me this is best campus if you are away from home
All is good no issues with anyone specially this is anti ranging

Placement Experience:

My University provide lots of placement because they recruit lots of student and place them to good companies and they offer a good package as my seniors get 8 lpa due to their ranking lots of companies come here because of the environmental the student performance so for me this is best environment for emploibility or place

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
