The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

The Real Side of Chandigarh University

The campus infrastructure and the hostel facilities are the best things about Chandigarh university. The campus is largely spread, and each block has advance facilities such as multipurpose classrooms, lifts, wi-fi, etc.
The Hostel facilities are also very good at Chandigarh university. There are 4-seater and 5-seater rooms available both ac and non ac. There are other facilities such as gym, wi-fi, and tv rooms for students. These all does not require any extra cost
The food quality provided at the mess is acceptable, they have variety of food options. A special south indian food is also prepared for south indian students.

Dislikes

There are about 29 to 32 lectures per week. The classes operate 5 days per week.
There are also additional courses that we have to do as a part of our curriculum on platforms like Coursera, LinkedIn

Placement Experience:

There is a dedicated support system to provide help to the students, The department of carreer planning and development provides support and training to its students that is very helpful in placements. The college supports campus placement and companies like paypal, tech mahindra and tcs come to hire students. Almost 60-70% students get placed every year from chandigarh university. The highest package was offered by paypal was 17 Lpa. The average package is around 4.5 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of Chandigarh University is soo good from other universities near by me. There are monthly test in cu which are known as mid Term Test (MST). Which very beinfical for student acedmic and result part also.

The staff is very supportive. If you do well they will support you throughout your journey
Campus is beautiful. You will enjoy the vibe of campus
Students are very aware about their future according to me as almost my all friends are concerned about their future and doing hardwork

Dislikes

Sometimes it gets a little bit hectic to attend classes when there are continuous classes

Placement Experience:

See, As I am in 3rd semester so I don't know much about companies but If you want to get details about placement so If you work hard definitely you can get the placement and you all know about the recession going on so it is a bit difficult everywhere to get the placement but if you are skillfull you can get the placement for sure

Chandigarh university: Student’s way to power

Likes

Good infrastructure and supportive staff
Vast range of experience and hospitality
Good and evolving talks with teachers about the world

Dislikes

Fees structure is very large, everyone can’t afford it
Attendance criteria, minimum 75% attendance is required
Semester is of 4 months only rather than 6 months

My course was all based on practical as well as written work , though in civil engineering you require more of practical knowledge and also bit of written knowledge. I didn't get all the practical knowledge that I needed

Likes

Their infrastructure and classrooms are very good
Cleanliness is one factor which attracts you the most.
There are multiple opportunities for various fields including academics, sports, fashion etc

Dislikes

Sometimes due to weather there is a lot of humidity and as of now the campus is not completely Air conditioned.

Placement Experience:

The placements opportunities are good. There visits many companies in the campus but you do have to clear 2-4 rounds of tests and interviews to crack the deal. But no doubt opportunity is there, it's you who need to grab it.

THE ENIVIRONMENT AND THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE COLLAGE IS BEYOND IMAGINATION.FULFILLED WITH JOY AND EVENTS THE COLLAGE OFFERS A VARIETY OF COURSES AND SPECIALIZATION.
PROPER FOODING FACILITES ARE THEIR INSIDE THE CAMPUS YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO OUT OF YOUR HOSTEL FOR ANY KIND OF WORK.EVERYTHING IS PRESENT INSIDE THE CAMPUS AREA ALONG WITH A BANK AND ATM'S.
EARLIER THERE WERE NO AC'S IN THE CLASSES BUT RECENTLY MOST OF THE LECTURE HALLS ARE AIR CONDITIONED GIVING RELEIF FROM THIS HEAT AND WHETHER.

Dislikes

THE COLLAGE IS SITUATED FAR AWAY FROM CHANDIGARH ON LUDHIANA-CHANDIGARH HIGHWAY AND THERE IS A TOLL PLAZA BETWEEN KHARAR AND UNIVERSITY MAKING IS WAY DIFFICULT FOR THOSE WHO COME BY THEIR OWN CAR.
THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE IMPOSED ON STUDENTS AS IF IT IS A SCHOOL AND NOT A UNIVERSITY.
MOST OF THE FACILITIES ARE NOT EXPERIENCED ENOUGH AND DO NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A GOOD EDUCATOR

The timing of the class are very uncomfortable and deadly to us . 9.30to 4.30

I think the course I chose is good but timing management is very difficult for me. I am a hosteller and there are many works that I can do after the classes and I have less time to manage all this.

My course which is cse general is extremely relevant in today's developing world. Here, they teach multiple programming languages like c , c++, Java, and python across various semester. They also focus on English which is useful for today's competition.

Very big campus and good infrastructure.
They promote extra curricular activities and sports along with studies
Good management and quite responsible and humble staff

Dislikes

They have min 75% attendance criteria for students

So I choose this course becouse of its high job opportunities They provide life skills and communication skills classes I don't think they need to do improvement because all teachers carry very much experience. This is my POV

The seniors were quite interactive and really helpful.
The campus is large and all thing of necessity is available.
The teachers are focused on teaching and are knowledgeable.

Placement Experience:

Here u can start getting placed from 3rd year. Multiple companies visit here and record no of offers are made to students. Highest national package was around 51 lakhs. Students with good cgpa get placed easily.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
