The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

A general review of Chitkara University

Placement Experience:

Placements are good at chitkara university. The minimum package is 4 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Google, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Oracle visit campus. The average package is 6 LPA and the highest package is 32 lp. About 99.2% of the students got placed. My plan after my degree is to get placement in a product-based company.

in fourth year we can apply for on campus placements. the highest package offered b y company is 39 lakhs per annum and the average package ius 3 lakh per annum. the top recruiting companies are HCL , TCS and infosys.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chitkara University has its campus at two places, one in Baddi and the other one in Rajpura. The Rajpura campus is huge and beautiful and also provides a galaxy of courses. Mainly, the university varsity is known for its MBA and engineering courses. There is a lot of practical exposure. Not only this, the facility of the university is also very much helpful, they put in a lot of effort into making children understand the topics and clear their doubts happily and motivate them to perform better.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from the 4th trimester onwards when the companies start coming to campus. The campus has had a 100% placement record in the last 10 years. Companies like Evalueserve, Ecelerx, HDFC bank come to campus to offer placements with an average package of around 6.5LPA.

Students are eligible for campus placements in 6 semester 3rd year. Fleet management Maersk synergy and many more companies are visited. 100% of students are getting placed. After getting the degree if you are placed you will be onboard the ship or will be waiting to be placed.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
