My college honest review

Likes

I like the cleanliness of the college premises, all the classes, corridors, washrooms, etc. are cleaned properly.
Classes have air conditioners, and smart boards.
Classrooms are very spacious according to the strength of students.

Dislikes

The food in the canteen is very unhygienic.
Their are no special activities or clubs available.
Campus is bit smaller than it should be so their is less space for students to relax when they are free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took this course because i was interested in business feild but this course on its own doesn't provide any benefits in real world. I would have to do masters to stand somewhere otherwise this course is a waste.

Clean and spacious classrooms with smart board facility
Air conditioners in all classrooms are available
Teachers are cooperative and very helpful

Dislikes

No activities and clubs in the college are there
Canteen food and beverages are very unhygienic
Campus is very small and it doesn't feel like a college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The circulum is very basic. They are teaching all the things that were taught to us in grade 11 and 12 in school. No practical knowledge is given. Only theory is being taught. They make us keep writing unnecessary assignments. They should teach more about how we will work in the real world. They should provide case study knowledge.

Teachers are very friendly and help each and every student in every aspect of study.
Books are easily available from the teachers as well as from the library.
Computer labs are clean and each computer is in working condition.

Dislikes

The size of the campus is small and there are very low sports activities.
There are no dustbins in classes which is really a important basic need.
Washrooms are also very dirty and unhygienic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because IT sector is leading the world right now even a small knowledge of computer is very important and helps in future. Jobs are easily available in IT sector depends upon the skills the other person has. My course covers all the main computer languages such as C, C++ , Java , python etc. The exams mainly are moderate in case of difficulty. The exam conducts for 3 hours and it is difficult for some students to cover the whole exam in 3 hours

My Genuine Opinion For My College

Likes

Teachers are very helpful and have good teaching skills
There are many new things to learn which will help Us in future
The infrastructure of the college in well and good

Dislikes

Some of the teachers don’t take class seriously
Some of the subjects are of no use for example creative writing
There is no security in the college campus

Placement Experience:

There are very less placements of Khalsa College Amritsar, other than that I don't have good idea about the placement cell of our college Khalsa College Amritsar. Amazon and infosis are some companies visited our campus

Campus is great. students are nice here
Opportunities for students intrested in sports is really good
Attendence should be 75% THEY say but its not strict atleast in mine and mine friend's dept

Dislikes

Coding cultures is not there. There are not much tech clubs
Classrooms should have ac but it doesnt

I choose this course because of my intrest in technology Curriculum is good like in every other universities/ college exams are held twice a semester . Labs are well maintained here . Overall learning experience will be great here

Very much beautiful campus with greenary everywhere.
Very neat and clean and beautiful campus
Very peaceful environment with greenary all over

Dislikes

During admission sessions there is lot of traffic on roads
Because of cars and bike and cause air pollution due to loud horns
Some peons of the university are very rude don't talk properly

Firstly the university campus is very attractive that everyone wants to study in such beautiful campus with greenary all over. The facilities provided in the campus such as well educated teachers and the timings are also good

Khalsa College review

Likes

One of the most famous and beautiful college in Punjab
The staff is very friendly and cooperative.
There are a lot of trees in the college campus.

Dislikes

There is problem of water logging in front of admin block during heavy rain.
There is usually a lot of traffic during morning time.
There is no holiday on Saturday but only few of the students attend the lectures

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first semester is quite easy and contains basic knowledge of commerce field. Some of the topics are similar to what students learn in their high schools i.e. 11th and 12th. There are different professors for different subjects. They deliver the lecture and marks the attendance over the 40 minute time period.
